2 of my 10 Sonos amps cut out periodically

I have a Arc with mini sub on a Phillips tv. Sometimes, cut the sounds out for +- 2 seconds and comeback, but than is the sounds a little up. I don t Why. Maybe someone ?  

It started some weeks ago with a new router. Needed to reinstall from beginning. Really troublesom.tried tried and trie. Then suddenly!Installed the system this morning.  Eberything looked well. Got radiostations, spotify and other things in the new app.went for s walk.came home. Start the app. No system. ”No system on your WiFi”Just now I am listening on the speaker. I can see that the Sonosspeaker is connected to the Wifi.But the app does not see it.Really tired of thie now!! 

I have a “Five” speaker that needs the S1 controller app - it was all working beautifully untill a recent update of Xigmanas to v13.3.Play:5: BedroomSerial Number: 00-0E-58-5B-8C-7E:3Sonos OS: S1Version: 11.14 (build 572151190)Hardware Version: 1.16.4.1-2.0Series ID: P100IP Address: 192.168.2.26WM: 1OTP: 1.1.1(1-16-4-zp5s-0.5) This included an upgrade to the latest version of Samba.Samba have now dropped support for SMBv1 which is the cause of the problem :Question asked on Xigmanas forum :-           What has changed between 13.2 and 13.3 ???Samba is upgraded to 4.19.7 so it refuses SMBv1 connection attempts.You'll either have to upgrade your Sonos device or keep your xigmanas at 13.2Is there any chance of S1 being udated to use a higher version of Samba ????  Otherwise it renders my ”Five” useless as I must keep the NAS up to date.Dave

I have invested a lot of money in an extensive Sonos system. For that last 8 years with the old app. it was fine.  Easy to control, responsive and dependable. This new app. is extremely frustrating, it’s slow and unresponsive. A complete disaster.  I would advise anyone NOT to download this new app. and at present NOT to invest in a Sonos product. Basic things like adjusting the volume is now painful and almost impossible.  The pause button rarely works, it’s often impossible to turn off the music. This is just the start of a long list of problems. Sonos do not appear to appreciate the damage they have done to their brand. How can they release an app. that is so obviously flawed?  How can they not read the room and see that ALL their customers are turning against them?  Why can’t they just offer the old app. for download so that their customers can actually use their system.I would say that releasing this new app. before it was properly tested amounts to gross negligence and incompeten

Started about a year ago. Found a matching thread here but was not ever resolved. So thought maybe someone has an update? it used to work fine and I haven’t moved anything since from before it stopped working. i can use the Apple TV remote and it does move the volume perfectly. thanks for looking!

Hello! anyone else still having the problem with the headphones not charging even after the uppdate that was supposed to fix the issue? Only way for me to charge is to factory reset the headphones.. I even bought a new usb-c 15w adapter to see if my other adapter was the problem but that didnt fix it.. frustrating as hell..

The new app is still crap.. Takes 10/15mins to change volume in different rooms./change choose songs.. Great speakers but we have absolutely no control of them.. without the app... I will never spend a single cent,dollar or Franc or euro and another Sonos product as They have proved they want to control you.. When I want to play a song I will just do it.. I had my reservations from the get go but was convinced to relax.. I was 100% right from the start.. How do I add a playlist to the end of queue of another playlist. It used to be so easy. 

Hello,I have been using the system for several months (there were no problems and I was satisfied) and a few days ago a problem occurred. I haven't changed the network settings or anything in the Sonos system settings. Suddenly the speakers would not turn on and after a while they were not available in the system.Standard procedures don't work. I am able to reset the speakers and add them again. However, it succeeds the first time. No additional (second) speakers can be successfully added to the system. It goes through the detection procedure, identification sounds, and when the screen for joining the Wi-Fi network appears, the procedure is interrupted. A message appears from the Sonos application that the speaker is added - but it may not be visible and you need to turn it off/on. Then the application displays another window to add the same speaker to the system when it is restarted. However, then you cannot reach the window with the identification sounds because the loudspeaker does

I just found out that SONOS had an app update and I was fine with it hoping to see connection updates or any UI improvements. When I open the app, everything was gone including services, systems, and other features. Why'd they release an app update when everything isn't even working properly? I can't even connect any services, ie. Spotify or SoundCloud. Anyone got any suggestions? Samsung S20 FE btw. I managed to connect to my Symfonisks but only through the Spotify app.    Also, the UI is very laggy and glitchy. SONOS if you see this, bring back the old S2. At least it works.

Is there any issue with the Sonos app for users using iPhone 15 Pro with iOS version 17.4.1? The phone can't seem to find the system, whereas the iPad works fine and detects the system. Is this a problem with the app or the iOS version 17.4.1?

I believe that Sonos updates are deleting my Music Library settings.It takes a considerable amount of time to “rebuild” my Sonos > Music Library and the Music Library is something that I value a lot.  I listen to albums (1500+) and playlists from my Apple Music on a regular basis.Is anyone else having this issue?

Aloha:I have an Arc home theater setup including the Arc, 2ea of the Era 300, and a gen 1 and gen 3 sub. All are connected in one room and have been working great for a while connected to an TCL TV via eARC and source is Apple TV 4K, just recently though there have been issues to with sound from YouTubeTV and Netflix being muffled and unintelligible; without the closed captioning there isn’t really any way to know what they’re saying. All devices have been updated: Apple TV, TCL TV, Sonos; and power cycled.I am not sure if it is specific codecs that the Sonos system is having difficulty with as not all programs on YouTubeTV or Netflix experience the issue. In lieu of a fix, I have been forced to AirPlay to the Sonos system which I am sure takes away many of the benefits when the source is played via HDMI as originally setup.Any help would be very much appreciated.Mahalo,Kuni

In Sonos Android versions prior to v80, the app would have a service running in the background and a notification in the notification bar at all times that allowed for seamless switching & pausing of songs and also allowed for volumes changes on the fly, eliminating the need to go into the app and change it. After v80, it's been taken away, and the background service is also gone, forcing the app to reboot if the phone ever closes it for RAM optimization, which makes the user wait a long time for the app to start and connect to the system. My biggest gripe with the notification being gone, above all, is the fact that without it, I can't scrobble using Pano Scrobbler, as it requires an active notification. Can we get the controller notification & service back soon, please? I don't want to hold on to the old Sonos versions to avoid being without something that shouldn't have been taken away in the first place.

I have two Sonos five in one room. 1 got disconnected from my system due to lost electricity.  now it’s only flashing with an white sign and is not reachable in any way. Connected a wire to the router but it hasn’t helped out. Tried to reset it through holding th button on the back while plugging the cable but without response. What should I do???

I am trying to set Sono on my husband’s phone and when I am trying to except The terms and conditions, it will not let me do to have tryed everything

I’ve read AV Forum posts about “Works with Sonos” doesn’t work when a Sonos network reaches 6 devices. In effect, if a customer has architectural speakers as surrounds in multiple locations in their residence, having a like number of Sonos Ports along with Sonos Speakers (Arc, Beam, Era 300s, Subs) , any number of devices 6 or greater creates “No Longer Works with Sonos”.As there are multiple AVR vendors who have “Works with Sonos” certification, are they all affected by this issue? Technically, what is the issue? Is it a Sonos/App/Networking issue? Is it an AVR vendor issue? Is Sonos working with these AVR vendors to resolve?

I followed the instructions on my MAC and worked around the 913 error by creating the path to my library as if it were a NAS. Everything was fine until last week’s update and now most of my albums are listed multiple times in Sonos and the majority of them are empty. (Example below) I have tried deleting and reloading and even using the real NAS version of my library, but without any change. Does anyone know a fix for this? 

After updating my system with the latest app (80.04) my system has vanished, including arc and surrounds, every room that had a speaker isn’t showing up. Even when I try and add an existing speaker I get an error.  after using the previous app for years it has been very stable and these issues popped up right after update, not sure if anyone else is seeing these issues. 

Move 2 speakers cannot register to your system or receive software updates wirelessly via Bluetooth in the way that all Sonos speakers with power cords can.However, They can be registered and updated if they are connected to the internet using a hard wire adapter as follows:Purchase (or ask Sonos to send you free of charge) a Sonos “ethernet to USB – C” adapter.  (This adapter is available on the Sonos website for $39.) Plug the USB – C connector of the andapter into the small opening near the bottom of the rear of the speaker. Plug the ethernet connector of the adapter into an open port of your modem/router. Follow instructions on the Sonos app to “add a new speaker.” With the speaker now, having hardwired direct access to the Internet, it will automatically receive updates and be able to register itself to your system. Enjoy music wherever you place the speakers in range of your Wi-Fi!StephenMB 

Hi. Trying to add a Sonos Port to my existing setup.  Port updated and seemingly registered on my Sonos system OK, but no sound output to hifi.  Connected via digital output to Hifi (Meridian).  Used existing "CD" input and cable to ensure it wasn't the input or cable at fault.  Tried adjusting volume levels on both port and hifi to no avail.  Only strange thing is that the Port shows up as part of my system on the Sonos App (iPhone) but no on the web app.  Any advice please? 

I'm looking for a way to save a track to a different playlist. Does that function exist in the Sonos YT music connection?
