Today, my app tells me that I need to reauthorize the TuneIn app because account access has expired.  I follow the simple on screen process that takes me to the TuneIn website to authorise the connection but I get a message saying the pairing didn't work

"Something went wrong when trying to pair to your Sonos System.

Please return to the Sonos app and try again using the same credentials."

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Exact same issue for me… and doing a quick search here it seems to have been going on since the new app… so just add it to the list of issues that that sloppy coding did.

I should say, the way round this is to unlink it and readd it, not just reauthorise it :)

Tried removing and re-adding TuneIn (new) got the same error attached…

Added Tunein and it paired OK…

Who knows which genius does the quality control on these releases:-)

oh that sucks, it worked perfectly for me and a few others I spoke to that did it too. Maybe you can try clearing data and cache of sonos too? Although you’ll have to know your login of course etc etc.

No worries:-) in fact it is odder still!  Checking things were still working and now I see

So although I authorized TuneIn the credentials seem to have moved to TuneIn (new)...

Are you using a VPN?  I had the same problem until I turned mine off.
but now that I’m past that problem, Sonos/TuneIn will get all the way to the play screen, but when you push play, it will spool for a second or two then return to the play button…prompting you to press play again.  I can’t get it to actually play despite it being authorized.  Any idea how to fix?
