Until the major update to the Sonos App months ago my Arc was happily playing music from a set of music libraries I had set up on a MacMini connected via Ethernet. Then the libraries, and any way of adding them disappeared from the App. More recently the means of adding a library has returned but when I try to re-add the libraries I get the error ‘Unable to connect. Check the user name and password’. I am using the latest version of the App on my iPhone.
Needless to say the path name, user name and password are all the same as used before, and have been rechecked many times. I have switched on and off everything multiple times. I have rechecked all the file sharing permissions & SMB enabled multiple times. In short the only thing that has changed is the App.
As my Arc sits there silent month after month I am getting more and more fed up, when is this going to be fixed.
