Hi All, just thought I would post a work around for Sonos MacOs desktop software.

 

Due to the fact that without so complex work around of tricking the software that you are using a NAS drive in order to access your local files I find bypassing the Sonos MacOs app completely and just using Mac Music software and changing the output to the Sonos speaker (see image). the benefit of this is Mac playlists are accessible. 

 

I have now given up using Sonos software. I still believe the hardware is good quality. the software issues have go on for to long. may switch to Mac speakers in the future

I’m using sonos for mac os 16.2, its working perfectly. Just not going to update.
