Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Is this a political isssue? A sonus issue that will be fixed? Or something else? Until this morning my pbs stations have playing well on my speakers for a long time

Hello, the problem I’m reporting here is probably the same as one already reported into this community a while ago (in 2021). For reference, you can look to this thread from 2021 that was unfortunately discontinued.In short, the problem is as simple as he is (very) annoying. In Spotify, when the user flag a song as licked, the song is automatically added to the list of “Liked Songs” (see the capture I made in my Spotify app that show my current Licked songs list. When I select Sonos as the output for the sound from my iPhone, it is impossible to play any of the song that is into this list. Would it be a Spotify bug, I would not be able to play songs when I listen to a bluetooth headset. Yes, it not run only when I stream from my smartphone to my Sonos system. It is the same problem while I stream from Spotify from one Android Smartphone. I precise that my entire Sonos system is up to date as well as I own the very latest generation of Sonos system (Arc Ultra, 2 Era 300 and one Sub 4).W

Hello,I have purchased the sonos amp.(a) I would love to hear from you which speakeers do you recomment for its wired connection (consider the 125 RMS and 8 Oms that is the specs for the speakers, as it is in the sonos specs).What I am trying to do first, is for a good stereo amp for listening classical music (and other types).(b) I would also like to hear from you any thoughts about connecting wireless speakers without (at first) purhasing wired speakers (in this case i can purchased wired speakers at later time)Thank You very much in advance.

Some back story: I started my Sonos Journey around 5 months ago. I initially had a Beam Gen 2 + One SLs + Sub Mini for my 1st full setup. I was then bitten by the Sonos Bug and quickly had the urge to upgrade everything. I found a deal on Facebook Marketplace that I could not pass up, and I upgraded to Arc Ultra + Era 300s + Dual Sub 4s.The Era 300s and Arc Ultra were vast improvements over the One SLs and Beam 2, especially for Movies and Gaming. For music, the Beam 2 setup was pretty amazing, but still a downgrade nonetheless. The area that didn't perform as expected was the Dual Sub 4s, which sounded like a downgrade. I at first thought they were duds and could not hear any bass coming out of them with bass-heavy music. When I set them up, I placed one Sub 4 on my bed, positioning it at the height my ear level would be at viewing position, and then performed a sub crawl. My system arc+2 era 300+ sub gen one  is it worth adding a sub mini or a sub gen 3/4

I just received my new Arc Ultra soundbar, the speaker setup itself was successful but when I run the TV connection using the HDMI Arc cord that was included, my TV does not find the connection. I see the HDMI port on my TV recognizes the connection, my CEC is enabled but it won’t display Sonos device in order to connect. No sound comes from the soundbar to TV connection.  I’ve updated the software, I’ve unplugged the hdmi connection and restarted both my tv and soundbar, then ran the setup again. Nothing works.  any ideas?? I’m super bummed I can’t use my new setup. 

The entire day my app can’t play anything through the Sonos app. Doesn’t matter which service I try I get an error message saying “could not connect to the server”  This is just another in the endless number of issues with the app. Yes I have restarted everything a few times.

Starting this week, my Sonos Beam 2.0 speaker will no longer connect to my iTunes library. These are local files, I don’t have an Apple Music subscription any longer. I don’t want to pay for it when I have a large iTunes library of local files. My Sonos Beam 2.0 has been working fine for the past year, and literally mid-song, it disconnected and Sonos told me a firewall had gone up. I checked it, but I’m allowing all incoming connections from Sonos, so this shouldn’t be an issue. Every time I try to connect Apple Music as a service on the Sonos app or on my MacBook, it tells me I need to re-authorize Apple Music. I do this, and then it tells me that I need to do it AGAIN even though I just did it. Now, on the Sonos app on my MacBook when I select Apple Music, it tells me that I need to renew my Apple Music subscription. But I just want to be able to play my local files. At one point, I had my iTunes library uploaded to Sonos, but it erased it from the app. Then I was using the Apple Mu

I our headed two roam 2 devices. Each came with a cord, but nothing to plug into wall to charge the unit. How do I charge the Roam 2? 

I have used VLC to create an M3U playlist of 10 songs from my NAS, Sonos can see the playlist and will allow me to put the playlist on the queue (I’m using the PC controller) but the queue shows the songs in a weird format and if I try to play them I get a message saying the share //192.168.50.90/multimedia does not exist. Hi there,New to the Community today and looking for help.I have a Sonos setup with arc, 2 x One SL’s and sub in my conservatory connected to my 75” Sony TV and Sky Mini box.Occasionally when I turn it on I have voice sync issues. The only way I can seem to fix this is to switch everything off for a few mins and re power. Sometimes this can take 2 or 3 attempts to sort it. Very frustrating.Hoping someone has a simple fix to my issue.thanksRich

I keep getting a message that my speakers are not connected and they always have been connected and I try to connect them and they won’t connect. Only my two Bluetooth speakers will connect

Is there a way to add Everand app to Sonos content services? It’s a great audiobook app. 

I see someone else had a Move 2 speaker stuck in Bluetooth mode (blue light is on). They were able to solve it but pressing the Bluetooth button. I cannot fix the problem by simply pushing the Bluetooth join button. Would someone please let me know if there is another fix? Thank you.

I have an extensive Sonos system, including a soundbar. As with millions of other people, we have a family member with significant hearing loss. A feature on the Sonos Ace headphones that would make it a must-buy would be the ability to have simultaneous outputs from the headphones and the soundbar. It's not as if it's a small market or Sonos don't know about grouping speakers. Surely this is technically possible, either as OTA upgrade or via next gen of Ace?

I have an arc ultra with 2 era 300s and a sub gen 3 setup in my living room. I also have an arc, 2 era 300's and sub gen 2 in my basement. Ive had the ultra arc since it's first release as well as Sonos arc with no issues. Recently, during the month of May both arcs have disconnected from the 300's and subs. All speakers play independently but do not play when attempting to connect as a surround set-up. I've reset all speakers, rebooted the router, rebooted my phone, unplugged and plugged things back in, contacted Sonos support only to have them walk me through doing the same steps I did before. The end result was support telling me that there is a known issue with the arc's that they eventually will stop working in a surround setup wirelessly and must be hardwired to the router. I explained that I've never had any issues with both surround areas and to me it seems to be a software update or app issue but they stood firm in stating that it's a hardware issue. From the "Now playing" screen, when you touch at the bottom, the speakers playing in the group show first followed by speakers that are not playing. If you slide finger up to see the speakers lower in the list everything is fine. If you slide down to head towards the top of the list, the entire screen disappears and reveals whatever screen was behind it. To get back to that point where you can adjust the volume, you have to go through several taps.  This behavior can be very frustrating because sometimes it will scroll while other times, it will slide away . There is an "Apply" button at the bottom of the volume adjustment screen so in my opinion, we should be required to hit the "Apply" button when we are done and the screen should not disappear when we are simply trying to scroll back up to the top. Is there a way to mandate hitting the "Apply" button when you are done and otherwise keeping the screen there regardless of how you scroll?

every time I use Sonos it takes forever to load up. response on functions is slow, especially volume control / pause / play. It keeps losing the names on my amps and goes back to default. it’s never been as bad as it Is now on performance. The app design itself - still waiting for something great to happen. 

I have 3 x One SLs in different rooms around the house. Bought 2 x Era 100s at the start of the year to add to the system as the One SL’s no longer in production. Set them up and added to the system, but they keep disappearing.  Have re-booted the system and looked re-added but the same thing seems to happen. It’s only the 2 x Era 100s which disappear.  Ubiquiti WiFi infrastructure and good connection throughout.  Any thoughts welcome. Thanks

Hi there,I have a Premium Family Spotify account. I log into my daughter’s Spotify account on Sonos before she plays music using a voice command with Alexa but that music still appears in my own recent listening history on my own Spotify account.Why is this? I have a CD player and a turntable (built-in pre amp) to connect to my Sonos ecosystem.If I have paired Sonos 5s can I use the 3.5mm audio-in on each 5 to then play through the stereo pair (and in other rooms for that matter)?I think I can but want to check firstthanksOldskool

I was having trouble with only getting stereo from my Apple TV into Sonos Beam (sub and 2 Symfonic bookshelf speakers for surround), connected to a Samsung frame (from Dec. 2023). I thought it was a problem with EARC, so I swapped out the Beam for Sonos Arc, connected the sub & surround speakers, and connected through optical.after switching around with the settings within the appleTV and the Samsung, I was still getting only stereo sound on everything I played into the TV through the apple TV.Then I tried playing Disney+ directly through the Samsung. Behold! Dolby 5.1 surround!Then I realized that the only thing playing Dolby Atmos through the AppleTV was AppleTV+ content. Everything else was only playing in Stereo. Shame on you Apple! They better fix this soon.

Hello,I have a question that I have been struggling to find an answer to, and I’m hoping that someone here could help. I am in the process of making the switch from a TV to a projector (the Nebula X1), and that is going to cause some issues. The projector only has two HDMI inputs. They are both HDMI 2.1, and only one of them is eARC. I will need more HDMI inputs than that. The most obvious solution would be to use a receiver, which I am open to. However, I am already using Sonos speakers. If I were to get a receiver, I wouldn’t have the money or the desire to replace the Sonos speakers. I understand how you can turn a receiver into a Sonos speaker using the Port, but I don’t see much about going the other way around. Because normally, why would you? But I already have the Sonos speakers. I looked into HDMI switches, but I haven’t found any that seem powerful enough to preserve the video and audio in a way a receiver could (and even the few I’ve found that claim to have reviews from peo
