Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Is anyone else having issues with no sound coming from one side of their headphones. I have only had these for less then 3 weeks and I have tried everything and I cannot get sound to play out of the right side of the headphones.

Been a Sonos user for many years with double digit zones throughout the house. Recently upgraded to S2 a few months back. I have a sonos connect amp (s2 compatible) that a I purchased recently. When attempting to add the connect amp, the app immediately recognizes it and connects to it for the set up process. However, when I get to the final stage of pressing the play/pause button when it is blinking, it always fails to recognize the button press. I eventually get the message that “we didn’t detect a button press from the Connect: Amp with the flashing light. I’ve reset the connect amp several times and  I’ve also tried connecting the device via ethernet cable without any luck. Any other options? Very disappointing to be running into these issues.

Pandora is not working. Just does not start playing. 

Having just built a new house we have been planning on upgrading all of the dozen or so Sonos speakers we have as ours are a little old now - but the Sonos App is so appalling to use we have decided it may be better to look elsewhere, to a different company’s product. Are there any plans for a major overhaul of the new App? And if so, when?

There are some Podcasts that are shown under Albums and other Podcasts shown under Podcasts in Sonos Favorites. What is the difference between Albums and Podcasts under Sonos Favorites? 

WTF Sonos? You are garbage. Your app is no w complete garbage. Every time i go to use my simple system it's garbage. From not connecting (multiple mesh points with wifi coverage out to 1000’ from y residence), to not even being able to control volume on a device that's whiting 60’ of a primary router and 20’ from a mesh point.  What does it take to be a software engineer at Sonos, a pulse? If so, I'd check your SE’s pulses BTW.

I’ve always kept my music library on a usb stick connected to my netgear router, which my sonos system could access through readyshare.  Sadly, my router died, and I had to replace it with a tp-link router, which also has a usb port, but it seems to work differently.  Does anyone know what’s required to set up a usb-share library with a tp-link router?

I cannot open the Sonos app on iOS 17.6.1. It crashes every time I try to open it. So I tried to connect my wired home speakers through Spotify and now the speakers are playing independently and I cannot turn them off. I turned my iPhone off and they continued to play. Please help! 

HiI am considering new Era 100’s as a pair.Their first use would be at a party in a rented house, where we might not have access to wifi, so I thought as they are bluetooth they’d be ideal, no hassles with wifi, just play direct to them. We only have older Play 1’s which cannot be used on a guest network, so I understand.The question is when you play music via bluetooth, or say through the wired dongle, when the speakers are not on a wifi network…. can you create a pair, or stereo pair, in bluetooth?Thanks

Hi everyone, I sold my arc can I configure 2x era 300 with 2 Subs?

I saw a similar post on this issue, but it was closed without any suggested resolution.  Last summer, based on reports that the new Sonos app was a dumpster fire, I had held off installing the update for a couple of months until my Sonos system “helpfully” advised me that some of my speakers would not play until I “upgraded” the app.So, I moved forward with the update.  Luckily, some of the issues (alarms and timers particularly) had been resolved by that time.  But, with the Sonos app on my iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), I can only see a handful of the 100+ Spotify playlists I have.  99% of my use of Sonos is with Spotify.  So, I would really like to see a solution to this issue (and saying “just use the app on your laptop” is not a solution).  Thank you.

Set up 2 Sonos 5, my music is in the Apple Music w, how to get it to play?

Hi, I normally flip my eras in and out of surround sound mode for my beam.. however it won’t let me tonight as it it’s asking for an update to the system. Looks like it’s an old gen 1 connect causing issues.  I thought it was dormant as I’m only working on s2 and didn’t expect that to be visible (which it isn’t in the homepage) I’ve tried doing a factory reset on it and downgrading it to s1, but this fails. Any ideas how to lose it completely from the state so s2 operates normally? 

I've just signed up to Qobuz for a trial period. When trying to add to my Sonos I get the message "Error. Unable to add Qobuz account". Is this because I still haven't updated the app?

I’ve been having issues when connected via Bluetooth on my Era 300. The speaker randomly cuts off during playback for a second or two, then resumes. It’s really annoying, and I’ve noticed other users are also experiencing this. Has anyone found any fixes?Honestly, I regret buying this speaker. I was excited when Sonos finally addressed the connection issues after all this time, but it’s disappointing that they still can’t get such a core feature right.

I am done with sonos will not play any of my songs any more it is grade out even if it in my downloads on my computer. Don't know what changed this year but now I am going to buy other system that don't have so much control over my music 

Today I bought a pair of Sonos Ace headphones. The sound quality and noise-canceling are great. And they are also quite comfortable to wear. But every time I change the volume or reconnect to a different audio source, my eardrums get blown out by one of these indicator sounds!Is there a way to disable those, or at least make them a lot more quiet?I use these headphones on my Windows 10 Laptop over Bluetooth and 3.5 mm TRS. For USB-C I’m currently missing the adapter.Thanks in advance

Hello community! I am about to purchase a Sonos speaker (don’t know which one at the moment.) Before I purchase, I’d like to know whether Sonos products are compatible with Mac OS Monterey version 12.7.6. NB: my Macbook is from 2015. Also I have iPhone 11, I assume this will work just fine with Sonos’ systems. Many thanks for your help!

The sonos apps have updated on my iMac and iPhone and my library has once again disappeared. Ive set my external drive containing  the files to allow sharing and SONOS won't add the library.We’ve gone back a year again.just give us back the original app that just worked.I have 7 speakers with this system and I'm now seriously considering just selling them A year of being to constantly being unable to play my music from my library is just unacceptable

I am now very close to the end game- all speakers work wirelessly through echo dot and can be directed by voice. I have a pair of Play 5s older 1s and voice activated 1s. Also. Cd player and turntable working through a mixer. Now one line in goes to the mixer connected to play 5.The other line in through the echo dot. and is connected through Play 5. I was hoping that this would allow the components to play through the 1s. It does not. It only plays through the play 5s . The 1s are in different rooms so I was hoping not to have to run Ethernet wires. The router is powered through Spectrum. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you. Dale Dancis

Hi ,my system is randomly muted . Especially my Arc while watching TV. I am connected to my  Sony Bravia TV trough Arc HDMI. Everything was working till Sonos latest major  update.*Moderator Note: Removed diagnostic number*

Why do I keep getting this message?  

I bough a roam because of the Bluetooth connectivity but I can seem to connect the roam to the turn table when I press the pair on both ends it doesn’t seem to connect what am I doing wrong ??
