Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I am totally frustrated and infruiated with the total failure of the new app. that was installed in May.         In my case the main problem is that I have lost all my play lists which disappeared with the new app, and it says no music available when I try to update. These Play List have been compiled over many years,  In addition to this I cannot install any new music from I tunes on to the sonos system any longer -it’s an absolute disgrace. In simple terms my sonos system is now useless!Following Mr. Spences  [sonos CEO] communication a number of weeks ago I would have expected some progress but in my experience nothing has changed . It is now 5 months since that failed  app was installed  & still no solution ,  how much longer are we expected to wait -6 months a year 2 years before all the issues are resolved , if ever!!  As one other contributor stated why don’t they re install the original app which worked well until they sort out the problems with the new app-is this not poss

Hi,since quite a while the playback of radio streams via MyTuner stops randomly. The music then simply stops and I have to restart the playback either via the app or via the speaker.Yesterday, I was told by the Sonos customer support to switch to a wired setup as my diagnostics showed wifi interferences. Now I’m back to a wired setup and I observe the same interruptions even on the device that is directly connected to my network (and on the devices connected via SonosNet too).Network-wise I’m using a fairly standard Ubiquiti setup consisting of an UDM pro some switches and AP’s. My internet is running stable and I do not face other complications, e.g. Spotify works smoothly in both network modes.Could anyone please have a look into my diagnostics if there is something else that could point to the issue?*Moderator Note: Removed diagnostic number for privacy. *Thanks!Sebastian 

Ho, I have a problem with my sonos era 100. I have a tv surround sistem which consists in beam, sub mini e and two era 100 for back left and right channels, the problematic channel is left back. A bunch of days ago I unplugged all tue devices because of a strange and loud sound coming out from the sub, then tue day after I plugged them in, everything works fine and connected evenly, except for the era 100 left back channel: it continues to blink white, without connecting successfully to the sistem. I tried to do a factory reset as explained in the manual, but it doesn’t work, it continues to blink white. What can I do?

In the lat month we have had 2 household power cuts and each time my sonos has lost the path connection to my music library. since the new issue of sonos app I am unable to add a music library on my Ipad or android phone and I have to fire up my aging laptop and use the windows app.just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues.An update to the new app would make life so much easier if I could just use my Ipad!

HiI recently bought a bluetooth speaker but suffered a connection issue with LG tv so I’ve been trying to get a refund for that and looking for a soundbar for movies.My LG tv model is OLED65B3SW.AKRG and I’m trying to buy Beam Gen2 through Amazon since I can’t get it in South Korea which means this will be a serious problem to me if the Beam dosen’t work properly. So before I buy it, I’d like to make sure If there’s a slim chance of problem connecting between thoes two products.In addition, It would be appreciated if you let me know a Sonos offical seller in South Korea and how to get a support if I buy it through Amazon.

Airplay used to work on my Play:1 but now it is not listed under airplay compatible devices. I would not have purchased the device if i had known they would remove connectivity. Are there any options for return or exchange? If not, I don't want to purchase a new Sonos devices if my preferred usage becomes removed in the future.

Where has the ability to change bass, treble and balance gone in the new app on Android? I used to be offered this function when changing volume but now it's disappeared and I now have to go into settings and EQ for each individual speaker to change this. 

I used to be able to use my Galaxy s22 to control volume when not in the app but this doesn't seem to be an option anymore. Why Sonos?

When I assign a room (e.g. “bedroom”) to my One SL pair, the designation always  reverts back to “Sonos”. This does not happen for my other speakers in my system. Any ideas of how I can fix this? Thanks.

When we stream Danish radio channels (DR3 and DR4) using the Sonos App, sometimes the stream rewinds after approx. ½ hours stream and we hear whats earlier streamed. If we stop the stream, and start it again, the streaming comes back to normal. What is the problem?

I am unable to browse my Spotify Albums using the latest app (build 80.04.04-release+20240627.fa7966dd1) on both my iPhone11 and my iPad Air. It appears to time out then I get the response “Something went wrong. Try Again”. This message is not helpful. Playlists and song lists come up with no problems. This was functionality which worked on the previous S2 app and it works fine on the Windows desktop. Occasionally, just occasionally, it will show my album list but then it will stop working again.I am not happy as this is basic functionality which I rely on.David (UK)

I saw on another post that someone said the Gen3 subs would work with my Gen1 or 2 Playbar (I don’t know which version it is since I bought it second hand) if I used the SONOS S1 or S2.  Are they referring to the apps from SONOS, or something else? Thank you for your response. 

Why is the Beam such a crappy speaker? After having it connected to my SONY Bravia I tired of it losing the connection. Connect, disconnect, connect. Over and over again and again. I finally moved it to the bedroom to use  as a stand alone speaker. Again with the same connection problem. Sometimes it plays. Other times it doesn't produce sound even though the app is showing the little dancing bars.Hell the Roam has outshined the Beam. It has been flawless for such a little speaker.I went through he whole wifi updating as recommended by Sonos and it working for a while but then it stopped playing when selected. It seems to like when it's selected via the iMac but not the iPad. Sometimes it likes the iPhone other times not.Totally frustrating to invest so much money on the Sonos products and experience this crap. Sonos get you act together. I have spent A LOT of money on this system and for some reason after adding the Sonos Five to my system I have constant drops. Before I am accused of using a weak WiFi system or having interference issues I should point out I have a 1GB/S WiFi system that consistently logs in at 250MBS on a speed test for WiFi and when I get my drops there is literally nothing else in the house that is on the system accept my Nest cameras.  My problem is that I am always getting knocked off the WiFi system even thougn there are some speakers (my oldest) that stay connected. I have rebooted my VERY expensive router a dozen times, turned off all my speakers then reconnected. I can be listening to music on Spotify and simply skip a song on a playlist and when I do that all the speakers drop except my playbar in the back room, furthest from the router! I am hoping someone has a solution for this or I am going to scrap the entire system and move to some other solution, this system is way to glitchy and inco

I had music library on my app and it suddenly disappeared. How do I get it back?

I have a Samsung TV with a Sonos sound system. I want to have the sound played thru both the Sonos system speakers and the headset. The TV will not allow both the headset and Sonos system. Its multi output sound is greyed out and it automatically selects sonos. Is there a way to connect the headset to the Sonos system so that both play at different volumes?

My Sonos system has lost all (four) speakers. The speakers are three Play:1 and one Play:3. I have not done a system upgrade. I did an app upgrade, currently running Android Sonos 80.06.04. However, I also had to change the settings on my router to deal with other network issues that were not affecting Sonos. I suspect that might be why the devices were lost from the system. The Sonos app tells me that these devices cannot be added using the app, and I have to do a factory reset on all four speakers. In preparing to do this and looking online for guidance, I stumbled into the current firestorm of criticism that Sonos is facing regarding the May 2024 app update, with many people saying it made their systems unusable. I also found out that Sonos faced a class action lawsuit a while ago for deliberately bricking older devices. Most concerning was complaints that the new update requires a network connection to play a *local* music library, as I play a lot of my music from a shared network

Hi, I have noticed recently my Sonos App no longer has Amazon Music or Spotify as an option to add in the All Services area.I have tried uninstalling the app several times to no avail, does anyone else have this issue? I am based in the UK and have never had this issue before. 

I have factory reset, started over from scratch, attached ethernet cable...ALL the things.  I’m at hours working on connecting all things.I have two SL...no problem.  I then try connecting the ONE and the whole network disappears from the app.  Says Not Connected.  For awhile it would do this and I could disconnect my wifi on my phone then reconnect and it would randomly decide to work.  Now it is just not working.  My SL will play from spotify so I don’t think it is a wifi issue.  And the ONE was working when connected with ethernet but I had to unplug and move.  When I did this the app just said Not Connected.  Unsure if that has anything to do with moving the speaker.  The SLs still work but wont show up in app.  Seems like an app thing?  I have an android Galaxy note S22.  At the brink of throwing these in the trash.  They sound great when they work but they just wont stay connected.  I should say the app does not appear to be staying connected.  I feel like I must be missing somet

I updated to Sonoma 14.6.1 on my MacBook Pro and the trick to mount the library through a NAS does not work anymore. I am (again...) without music library.Any idea to solve it this time?
