Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

The Pocet Cast integration is not syncing, position nor completing an Episode with Pocket Cast App. Can you please take a look into this, to make it work again. App S2 Version 80.07.03-release-20240819.7fd7da0dd

Sonos s2 app only showing Stereo PCM no matter what source I use. I have reset app and factory reset all speakers. The speakers are all working, but I don't know if I am getting 5.1, etc. 

Why wouldn’t Sonos produce a video tutorial describing how to use EACH feature of the new app? 

SHORT VERSIONThe Sonos app on my desktop machine shows content from the Plex server on my NAS. Sonos apps on my iOS devices on the same network do not show any Plex content. Why not? DETAILSMy music library is on a Synology NAS.I installed Plex Server on the same NAS. I have installed Plex as a content service in Sonos.The Sonos app running on my desktop machine sees the Plex server and shows its contents.The Sonos apps running on my iOS devices do not see the Plex server. They show Plex as a service, but when I select that service there is no list of available content. It’s just blank. Looks to me like they are not connecting with the media server.I also have the Plex app installed on the iOS devices. The Plex app on those devices is finding and displaying the Plex content just fine.The NAS, the desktop machine, and the iOS devices are all on the same network. I have a number of sonos devices, 4 subs, an arc, a beam, 6 ones and a roam as well as ace headphones. Whenever I add the headphones to the sonos app it works to start with but once I've closed the app it will force close once I try and reopen it. I have to clear the apps storage and then discover my system and login making sure the headphones are not turned on. This then enables me to use the other devices and I can still use the headphones as long as I don't open the app when they are turned on. I've reset the headphone numerous times etc but no matter what I try the same problem occurs. This is on Android and using the latest app that was released a couple of days ago but has also been the case on the previous versions too. Has anyone had this problem and if so is there a fix for it?

I’ll begin by saying that nothing in my home network environment has changed.  All Sonos products (roam, One, Arc) were working fine until today.  Now my Roam - which I’m currently playing music off via Apple Airplay - is showing as powered off in the Sonos app.  I mean, that’s clearly not the case.Now the app has thrown me into a ‘sign in as owner’ loop.  I sign back in and it asks me to do it again when I click on ‘my system’.I’ve uninstalled/installed the app.  No change.Any ideas?

Hi,In the old S2 app it was possible to quickly get to the eq settings by pressing the button on the volume slider, as shown in the picture.Is something like this coming back to the new app? Currently accessing the eq settings takes 3 clicks, which is a bit annoying. Cheers

I use speakers for listening to music in a living room that is about  35x20 with 13ft ceiling. Currently have a 300 and am considering getting another for pairing. In the setup what is the distance between speakers and is there advantage to buying stands? 

Why are volume respons so extreme poor? The app is totally fu*ed up nowdays. Fix the app or start a buy back program of your speakers and subs. 

Hello community!I am a long time user of Sonos and over the years have purchased different systems in my house. I have a living room with an ARC and SUB gen3 that I am planning on adding surrounds and the question relies on whether I get the ERA 100 or 300 based on my room configuration.My coach is against the wall and in a corner so I can only place surrounds in one spot with no much room to experiment with..We watch lots of Dolby Atmos movies and my first option was to get the 300´s but I am worried about sticking a 300 in the corner (see picture) due to sound reflections not being redirected properly or boosting low frequencies quite a lot on that spot. (I know true play can correct for this) On the other hand the other surround has plenty of room (acoustics) as the living room extends quite a lot on the other side.I know if I get the 100´s I won't enjoy atmos on the surrounds and these might be more forgiving as they fire towards the front and not sides but I dont want to regret no

The update is worse than before! Search feature missing! My music missing after spending 2 hours or more re-adding it a month ago! Volume control is uncontrollable! I recommend using the SonoPhone app which is far better than the Sonos one!! Dreadful company v

I don’t understand why this keeps happening. For over a year, we never had any issues. Now all of sudden in the past week, our Sonos Beam loses connection. Called tech support the other day because it just would not connect after working perfectly fine the night before. It’s connected to the HDMI Arc port and powers on. Why do I have to disconnect all my other cables just to get it to work? This makes no sense. 

Playing music on someone else's sonos speaker

I used to have no issues when I first bought this system. Now ....it difficult to connect if you move it. You have to reboot everything all from the beginning if Internet goes down . Most of all there isn't a remote that works with the system since they last upgraded. Bye anything but Sonos! Others I had were so much less aggravating.

After being a huge huge Sonos supporter for over a decade, I am now so afraid of updates.I finally got the system working in one of my homes. But when I came to the cottage and it asked to check for updates, I just shut down the app for fear that anything I do will affect my system when I go home.  Lost all my confidence in SONOs to watch out for my music enjoyment.

HELLO, I CAN'T FIND THE SONOS APP PREFERENCES ON IOS 18... and I can't even find the version number of this application!!!!!Can you help me?... Thanks in advance.

I think i am almost ready to throw all my Sonos equipment in the garbage. It’s almost 4 months ago since I updated the app. I almost never have the music playing anymore in the morning because it takes so much frustration putting the music on. One simple thing, starting a radio station through the app and 9 out of 10 it just wont start. ‘Something is going wrong, try again’.  I am an IT guy, already spent hours checking the router, networks etc. It just isn’t working like before and it seems Sonos is not able to fix it. If they go bankrupt they sure earned it. So last question before I dump everything. Is it possible to downgrade? For me the old app worked fine. Play, pause, next song. 

How come after months of problems and updates my app still stops recognizing my products 

My Sonos Roam appears its connected and playing with the little volume thingys moving like the other 3 speakers, however there is no sound coming out. I have reset the Roam. Same problem. Every now and then it will start playing but when I try it again the next day it wont play.  Also somtimes if I turn off some other speakers the Roam will play. If I switch back it stops playing. I am using an Asus mesh wifi system.Any suggestions welcome. 

When connected to the Roam via Bluetooth, how can you see what the battery % level is? Before this terrible update you could use the Sonos app, but now it won’t connect to the Roam unless there is a WiFi connection. Even then, I can’t see the battery % level. Any advice welcome. 

I have been shipped 3 Move refurbished units in a row that will not power on.   No lights whatsoever.  Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution?  I’ve plugged them in for 24 hours and still nothing.

Please please please somebody answer this. I’ve opened tickets with Sonos. I’ve asked this same question here and all I seem to hear is a bunch of other users saying they have the same issue. I’ve heard that Sonos knows about this but I’ve also heard conflicting statements from people of Sonos awareness of this issue.  I can only see 50 of my Spotify Playlists using the Sonos iOS app. This appears to be widespread, not unique just to me. When will this be resolved?it’s been 4 months since the app update and I can’t do something as simple as view all of my Spotify Playlists. This is getting to be completely unacceptable. It’s an app meant to play music, yet we can’t see all of our music.

Overwhelming evidence - Spotify connect needs fix on Play 5: gen 1.  I have 7 Sonos speakers all on the same network, only 1 is legacy. Only 1 has random dropout issues with Spotify.  As others confirm, Tidal and other services work fine. And given my 6 other new gen speakers work fine:it can’t be local network it can’t be Spotify data rate, given Tidal HD and other similar services workResetting speaker, re-linking Spotify all useless!Truth is gen 1 products are no longer supported in reality else they’d have it fixed.  

Hi there,I moved into a new house just over a year ago and have been having issues connecting my Sonos one to the home WiFi. I have a Sonos beam that connected without any issues, however anytime I try to connect the Sonos one to the WiFi, it says it can’t find the network.  I have deleted all products and tried to reinstall the Sonos one before the beam, however it won’t work.  I contacted Sonos and they said it’s a problem with the network, but anytime I load anything new into the network, outside of Sonos, there isn’t any issues. I’m hoping to get one more speaker for the downstairs but might call it quits if it won’t accept anymore. Anyone got a clue or help on this one?
