Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

One of the amps has a dim white light, the other two are shining bright yellow lights

Hi all! I just recently bought a Sonos Ace, and I created my account to add them to the Sonos App. Researching a little bit about the functionalities I noticed I can add content services such as Apple Music (my case), Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. to the App; but my surprise it’s I can’t add those services in the App, literally the function is unable. Is this function only available in certain regions? I live in Mexico and all the services I listed before are available. I already uninstalled the App and reset it, but it looks this didn’t work at all. So, idk if this an issue with App, or if I need to do some trick. Thanks! 

So, even after six months the app is not stable. Search is a lottery as to what results show. BUT Sonos can keep placing adverts in the app that take up ⅓ of the screen.

Hi all, I know there are hundreds of posts on here about Sonos on Unifi. One thing that I can't see full clarification on is for full WiFi setup, do you still need set STP up on the network side or is that only for a wired/mixed setup? If the above is true, I've got an AP wired into a dream machine which from other posts appears not to support STP, does this mean I would need to migrate this AP to a switch for it to work reliably? ThanksSpence

How am i supposed to connect my move 2 to the updated app ??

Hi there, I’m trying to adjust some settings but before I even get there I’m told to sign out then sign back in again. When I attempt to do this I get the exact same message. What gives?! I’ve got a little too much bass coming out of my sub and I just want to turn it down a little. 

My sonos port is connected by wire to my CD player. My era300 speaker is in a different room. Until recently, I could play cds through the era300. Last week, the sound stopped coming through the speaker, even though the app shows it as playing. I've been on the help line twice. When I try synching the speaker while the cd is playing through port, still no sound comes through. I haven't made any changes. Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi, I have a Sonos AMP gen 3, but it does not reset to factory settings, only the white light flashes, I followed and applied all the instructions but I did not get any results

I have repaired a broken Vault 2 (dead power unit). Now I am having trouble re-connecting it to Sonos. After much online searching, I have added the Vault to the network, and added a shared music library via the Sonos (new) App as a shared folder by adding //IP address of the Vault/shared. So I can see the music and play it. BUT it used to be pretty; I could see album artwork and select a specific album. Now all if see is a list of ~ 9000 tracks from the FLAC music subfolder or the same as MP3 in the MP3 folder. Is the Sonos integration stuffed or is there a way to fix it so it will work like it used to? Or should I just be asking Sonos to fix it?

I have a deep collection and scrolling through albums is a tedious task as currently constructed. I have fast internet and it still takes awhile. iTunes (Apple Music) when you go to albums has larger pictures and starts with most recent purchases. I wish it was more like digging in actual crates for lps or similar to apple music  

Since I changed my WiFi and set everything back up touching the play button on top of the speakers no music plays like it use to.  Any suggestions 

Hi there, Ive had sonos play 1 for years and Spotify connect have worked fine until some few days ago. I can play other music services but not Spotify. It's just loading in Sonos when choosing a song and after some few seconds It jumps to next song in line and does the same.  In the Spotify app it just trys to connect but with no success. I have rebooted the wifi, deleted the apps, cleared cache, have revoked and made new authuratzion for Sonos in Spotify web, Ive had taking the spotify service from Sonos also serveral times.Ive had also tried to connect through my windows pc and apple mac, but doesnt work either.Thanks for any help

In ideal conditions (connection to internet) the app works ok at best.  The alarm function to play a radio station fails most days.  It will play from 2 minutes to 1 hour when set to play for 3 hours on alarm. Volume management works well about 50% of the time.  This week we had an internet outage for about 6 hours.  Sonos would do nothing.  I should be able to play local files, but I could not even log in.I know you are working on the issue, at the end of the day if all commands have to go through the cloud the system is only as good as the internet service of the customer. Much less the local network environment which is why you have your own back channel that makes the system more reliable.  Many customers have high latency service.  My Ubiquity system monitors my threshold, and it rarely goes over 32ms. I owned a fairly large healthcare company that connected to medical devices.  Even under contracted services we could not rely on quality to be high enough 7/24/365

How do I connect my Play 1 to a new internet supplier 

I have an ageing Maranttz CD player that is non Bluetooth.It has Analogue Output L and R at the rear.Can I buy a device that will plug into this output, convert the signal to Bluetooth and then play through the Era100 ? I can see all sorts of devices available but I am thoroughly confused.Two other questions please while I am here.What is the quality like ? Are there better converters to buy ?I understand a single Era100 has stereo capability. Does connecting like this maintain stereo sound ?Thanks everyone for any advice

Here’s a weird one.I have a variety of Sonos speakers and other Airplay 2 devices. I generally play to my speakers via Airplay 2 using iPhones, iPad, Macs, or AppleTVs. All is well, even with the vilified new Sonos app.Except…Airplay playback from Apple Music or Radio Paradise to my Sonos Move stuttered. Unlistenable, and only to the Move. Curiously, Sonos Music via the Sonos app was fine. This perhaps because of the Sonos wireless backchannel?So, in a fit of system-beating pique, I added Apple Music and Radio Paradise as connected services within the Sonos app. They both play fine if used from within the Sonos app. Hmm. Gets better. After playing Apple Music thru Sonos app, I can return to the Apple Music app and play directly and flawlessly from there.The playback remains fine until the speaker turns itself off. After restart, the stuttering returns, but a quick play thru the Sonos app restores things. Any ideas what’s happening?

My sonos won't connect no more with myTv. All cables are right connected, i've restarted all systems, but no sound out the tv.Sonos Radio does work properly..What am I doing wrong? 

I have a Beam Gen 2. When I turn on the TV, there is no sound for about 3 minutes, then it's fine. Is this normal?

For years i’ve been able to create a que of SiriusXM on demand shows in the Sonos app.  Suddenly that has been taken away???i can play one show but I can no longer “add to end of Que.”. That option no longer shows up.is this intentional?

Maybe Im missing this - from the phone app, can I still play a music source on some speakers, and a different source on other speakers? Classical upstairs and Rock downstairs (on the same network) from the phone app? I know I’ve done this, but I’m missing something here. Thanks

Hi all! When we are grouping Beam gen 2 + 2 Era 100 we have no sound on one Era… Each product is working individually and also when they are bonded as surrounds for Beam. The only issue is when grouping the 3 products. We are grouping rooms for regular playback, not for the TV sound.Could this problem be related to some router settings eventually?
