Hello @shuzamin, welcome back!
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing audio interruptions with your Sonos Home Theater setup.
First, allow me to inform you that using an HDMI splitter is an unsupported setup and the main reason is that we Sonos cannot guarantee it will work with your Sonos system.
As there are multiple components involved for this to work properly, you could start troubleshooting by adding them one by one, until you figure out at what step the issue starts occuring.
Do these audio interruptions happen while listening to music from any music service or Sonos Radio via the Sonos App? This would eliminate the Sonos connection factor.
If you have a TV available, you could try and play from the TV applications as a source first, and the Google Streamer 4K afterwards to confirm that the HDMI connection on your Sonos Arc is working as it should.
i continue to have problems with audio skipping out and sometimes screen going black
Screen going black makes me think that the source is the problem, at this point the Google Streamer 4K.
note I have tried without HDMI splitter and just using Epson EARC output but that also seemed flaky
What type of issues are you experiencing when not using the HDMI splitter?
I did a small research but was unable to find information in regards to the combination of Epson Home Cinema LS11000 projector and a Sonos Home Theater.
With my response your thread moved to the top of the latest activity list, maybe another user with similar if not the same setup could chime in and share what worked for them.
As a last resort you could contact our Support Team after experiencing audio interruptions or other issues without using the HDMI splitter, just make sure to Submit DIagnostics within 10 minutes of an issue occurring.
They have tools at their disposal to provide you with advice and information specific to your Sonos System and what it reports.
I hope this helps.
Hi @Sotiris C. thanks for responding
so using my Epson projector, with eARC out to my Sonos soundbar (without an audio splitter) is a supported configuration?
Just checking on my question above, if I remove the splitter is that a supported configuration?
