Why is this app still so terrible?Unbelievable, get your act together Sonos, the company looks like an absolute joke. I turn on my Bose equipment and it works, never an issue. I regret the day I purchased any Sonos equipment.  The only devices not appearing on my network are Sonos. When the app does miraculously find them it is unable to fix the issue and I get no sound. Has it been a full year of continuing errors and terrible management? Not only does the app suck, this company sucks. 

I’ve had 2x Play 1’s connected as surrounds to a Beam in my living room for a number of years which have worked faultlessly, until very recently.A couple of weeks ago I noticed one of the Play 1’s wasn’t showing up in the app and said disconnected, but the white light was flashing.  On investigating the Play 1 flashed up with a firmware update which it performed and seemed to initially connect ok so I didn’t think anything more.  The next day I noticed the speaker wasn’t connected but there was now a strange sequence of lights - as follows:white light on for 20 seconds white light off then flashes 3 times No lights for 3 mins above sequence repeats.The Play 1 does not show in the app at all.  I have tried every combination of hard/factory reset, including plugged in via Ethernet but the speaker is stuck in the above sequence.  Sonos support have been absolutely useless and said nothing more than the speaker is likely now defective and needs to be replaced.  Has anyone had any form of s

Hi,I bought a Sonos Era 100, but the equalizer is missing in the settings. Under settings, my room there is under "Sound" True Play but no equalizer as described on the support page. The app is freshly installed, the Era 100 brand new. Does anyone have any ideas? Is the support article perhaps wrong and the equalizer is probably to be found elsewhere?

The ace headphones are too loud no matter the volume setting. I know this has been mentioned in several other threads, but I wanted to raise it again in a new ticket because it hasn’t been addressed by staff in months and it falls under the very basics of implementing a set of headphones. I’m also the very specific type of person who wants to test a hypothesis, so I have some debugging information that might be helpful to the engineers. My Ace headphones started to correctly report their dB levels to iOS’s headphone safety widgets, so I was able to compare the linear 0-100 volume setting with the reported headphone decibels when playing a steady white noise track. I did this across three headphones: the Ace, Bose QuietComfort 45 II, and Beats Powerbeats Pro earbuds. The latter was included as a reference because Apple’s documentation said the dB reporting feature was most accurate on Beats and Apple products. I have a Beam and 2 Play1 speakers that I had setup as surrounds and noticed one speaker was not firing.I ended up resetting both Play1 speakers, with everything seemingly working. These were added to the Family Room group. (Same as the Beam) In the app they showed as being in group Family Room1 and Family Room2.I then added these as surrounds to my Beam, again all seemed to work fine. Upon checking the setup via my Beam they did not show, however there was an option to remove the surrounds, when I clicked on this option  the speakers showed as being disconnected!So I removed them, and performed another reset of both speakers. However, now neither on them will connect to my wifi. The setup seems to work perfectly, all tone sound and completion notices happened. It is the final step where the system tries to add them to my network that fails every time!I'm about 3 hours in sodding around trying to get these to connect with no luck. I have the Ace Headphones, and I like them. The battery life is amazing.I want to try out the Dolby Atmos encoding for the headphones and as I understand it, I need the Beam Gen 2. I have an 11.1 Atmos setup using a receiver and wired speakers. It works fine but none of it is Sonos product. I am trying to figure out if I could possibly replace my passive center channel speaker with the Beam Gen 2. Some questions:Does the Beam Gen 2 only create Atmos via the HDMI ARC or eARC connection? Using the Optical Adapter does or does not pass Atmos to the Beam Gen 2?Can the Beam Gen 2 be set up to work as a single speaker without the spatial decoding for multi-channel output?If this won’t work at all, is there another way I can get Atmos content to play in the Ace headphones?Thanks.

I have a new Sonos / Era 100 system, I’m using YouTube Music as one of my subscribed sources. I also have an Amazon Music account however I cannot find Amazon anywhere in the list of providers to add. I’m in Australia and as far as I can tell, should have access to it?

After I reset Sonos App, to open the App requires Visual ID on my iPhone.  How do I do that? 

I created playlists at my cottage on Sonos 1, but the same are not found at the house, using same account and same iPad. Why ?Where are the playlist stored ? I have only one account.The Sonos players remain in one place.Some have suggested to create one system with all Sonos, including carry one unit at the second house to create this common system, but I dont understand the reason.    

Given the current inability to manipulate Sonos playlists, I looked into importing playlists. I created some with windows media player. My issue is that there seems to be a hard limit of 100 songs.  Woefully inadequate and pitiful scaling for any modern system. For any playlist larger than 100 songs, trying to play the list has it endlessly clone itself in the queue until the queue is 50000 entries or so. Same 100 song listings cloned 500 times.At least when the queue has not been exceeded and you try to add to the queue such that it goes over 100 songs you get an error. so this looks like just really bad code.  When will this trivial limit be raised and when will the system not melt down when the limit is exceeded?

Following an overnight update to MacOS 15.3 my Sonos Controller is unable to access the network. Message of check your firewall settings. So I have:In Firewall settings, ensured (and toggled off then on) Sonos.app allowing incoming connections is on; Ensured Sonos.app is allowed to access Local Network (again toggled off/on); Deleted and downloaded up-to-date version of Sonos.app; Rebooted Mac Reset Sonos.app which then can’t find products during set-up.Note: Sonos.app on Iphone and iPad are working normally.Any further suggestions?

Why did my Arcam avr10 and the Axium speaker control stop working with the sonos port after I installed a new Orbi wifi ?

After setting up the playbar and 2x Sonos one as stereo pair. I am happy with the sound. Also I have an Sonos SL elsewhere in the home. But after like a few days and using the app for volume and control. Randomly the speakers one by one or sometimes even totally are out of the list. Sometimes they pop in again, sometimes I can reconnect them through the app but button not always available. Sometimes I have to reinstall the whole speakers. Connection from WiFi looks very stable for all other devices.  Any ideas why they would go out of connectivity? Or what can I do towards the system?

I’m frustrated because I have lately been unable to use my iPhone hotspot with my Sonos Roam.  I’ve done a factory reset multiple times and the best I get is asking Alexa for time and it responds but when I ask to play music, it’ll say the artist, but it doesn’t play  

Should I buy the Beam 2 at the moment or is the new app still bug ridden?

Cannot play on Beam or Symfonisk directly from Spotify. My devices show in the device list, but when choosing a Sonos device, it just blinka for awhile and the reverts to the phone. Been like this for the past two weeks. Playing through the Spotify app works fine, playing from Spotify to other devices (Google cast devices) also works as intended, so Sonos seem to be the culprit here. This needs to be fixed. (Same issue from Pc)

I have an issue with my Sonos Ace headphones which make them broadly useless for my everyday needs. I have them connected to my phone via bluetooth and also registered to my Sonos App. Whenever they are connected I have a warning on my bluetooth screen saying ‘Problem Connection. turn device off and back on’ (obviously turning it off and on again doesn’t work) I have audio with the device no problem, music, podcasts whatever, but if someone calls me, it doesn’t ever allow me to use the Ace as an option for the call (same if i dial out.) The correct permissions are selected, headphones are up to date V 3.15-232a694e  A set of £450 headphones that don’t allow calls….. About right for sonos. 

I have recently upgraded to Sequoia 15.3 on my iMac and as usual after every update my Sonos system stops workingThis time, my apple music library is not found - all views say ‘No Selections are available’I have checked the usual issues around file and media sharing settings but these look ok, so tried removing the assigned library and re-adding as the ‘found music folder’ and the when this did not work i tried adding the ‘manual menu path’ from my user path. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the S1 app but nothing.Anyone else had this issue?

I have a sonos one player and i was wondering if i can connect it to my tv for audio output. Can i use sonos roam to do so ? Cuz sonos rome does have Bluetooth feature. Is is possible to connect roam to tv and link roam to sonos one for the same audio output on both speakers ??? 

Since the bungled software release I have had loads of issues with Sonos, alongside many others, but have worked around and fixed things as possible but some issues remain. I just spent 1 ½ hrs talking to Sonos without getting anywhere.Everything works correctly in iTunes, listing, playing and searching.However, when I select ‘Albums’ in Sonos on my Mac laptop or on iPhone, I see a repeated list of the Album title, followed by each and every track. SO a 20 track album is listed 20 times under albums and you cannot play the entire album! If I select one of them I can only play a single track - has anyone experienced this? I also can no longer ‘see’ playlists that are on iTunes either. Needless to say all was fine before the App change last year. Can anyone advise please?   

Is there any update on when this will be fixed?  It is possible to play albums on other streaming platforms eg Tidal. It doesn’t make any sense that IDAGIO has been excluded.  Surely this is not a difficult problem to solve.

This error is being generated repeatedly.  Every once in a while it works and indexes my library.  Eventually, the error pops up again and the entry is removed from my Sonos app.  My platform is a Macbook Pro M4 with 128GB of RAM and 8TB of disk.  There is no resource issue.    The networking is solid, with a Netgear Orbi that is within 10 to 15 feet of each speaker.  I’m the only user on the network; there’s no other heavy activity.The SMB share that MacOS provides is accessible (hence the app sometimes works).  The permissions are correct.How can I fix this?  I literally don’t use the Sonos app to play music anymore because this doesn’t work more than half the time.
