A few days ago, my symfonisk remote stopped working and there is an alert in the ikea home smart 1 app that it cannot connect to my 2 symfonisk speakers. I have tried re-adding the speakers and cannot. They show up fine in the Sonos app. Unfortunately IKEA was not of much help, so I’m curious if anyone here has had this issue and been able to fix it. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about this issue you are having with the Ikea app and remote not connecting to your Ikea Symfonisk speakers.
I don’t know much about either, I’m afraid, but I’d certainly try the following:
- Turn off (unplug) the speakers
- Turn off your router for at least 30 seconds
- Turn on your router and wait approximately 5 minutes for WiFi to return
- Once WiFi is back, turn on your speakers and wait for the flashing white lights to either go solid, or go off (depending on the settings for them).
- Check the Ikea app and remote
I hope this helps - if it does not, I can only recommend getting back in touch with Ikea.

I don’t understand - contact Ikea? What are they going to do? Why isn’t there a fix for the horrid and unreliable app?
The Symfonisk by Sonos speakers where sold by IKEA, that also made a remote that can be used with all Sonos speakers. TS had trouble with the remote, so calling IKEA does not seem strange to me. Your post seems off topic to me.

Hi! My issue didn’t have anything to do with the Sonos app, but the IKEA remote functionality.
