Recently purchased home, installing our existing speakers. Looking to mount Era 300s in the corners (Red circles). Ideally, I would like to mount in the corners of the wall. Do these speakers to angle downward towards couch, or can a level corner mount work? Considering optimal sound, what is the most suggested mounting route with this layout? Pairing with ARC and two subs.

I'm hesitant to mount on the flat wall under crosswalk for power access reasons. Wife doesn't approve floor stands behind couch.

**I will be installing elevated power outlets to hide visible power wires.

IMO

The optimum placement given your restrictions IMO are the blueish circles in the picture below.

Corners are a bad choice, take the time to read the manuals mounting suggestions.

The link to the guide can be found by scrolling past page after page of worthless active content to get to it near the bottom of the 300's page.

Select a location

Era 300 should be placed indoors and have approximately 2' (.61m) of overhead clearance for optimal sound quality. Placement in an enclosed space like a bookshelf is not recommended as this could impact dispersion and playback clarity.

If you are mounting Era 300 within 2' (.61m) of a ceiling, place it upside down for the best sound.

When Era 300 is placed next to a wall or on a shelf, leave at least 1" (2.5cm) clearance in back and 8” (20.32cm) on each side of the speaker
