I’m trying to add a speaker has disappeared off my system (but that’s for another topic when I’ve got it sorted) I hit the + To add speaker or component and it says “sign in as the system owner” but I am already signed in.

Seems odd. I’d definitely make sure whichever version (S1 or S2) was up to date, as well as the firmware/software on the speakers, connecting them temporarily to my router with an Ethernet cable. After that, if nothing changed, I’d call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

OK try this….

  1. Delete the app
  2. Reinstall it
  3. Select “Join an existing system”
  4. Accept all prompts
  5. On home page click the Cog Wheel in upper right corner
  6. Sign-in with your credentials
  7. If issue continues contact Sonos Tech Support
