I’ve seen the question posted in the community regarding “how much does it cost to have a Sonos package shipped” primarily involving international shipping. Calling Sonos Sales may not provide the immediate answer you hope for. Sonos Sales; if able to help, may have to contact “shipping logistics” for a definitive answer. So be patient.I live in the US and therefore shipping provided by Sonos is at “no cost” (a least not as a line-item on the invoice).😉 Below is my “logistical consultation without compensation” regarding shipping cost calculation.Knowing the weight of a product is not the complete answer for shipping purposes. Actual cost to ship products like Sonos (or any product) is a combination of:Weight Product Packaging materialsBox Dimensions:Length Width Height Girth (in some case such as with a soundbar)The aforementioned is termed as “Dimensional Weight”. The final determining cost factor is “distance” from point of origin to final destination (i.e. delivery). Distance may

The Sonos app has rendered my system practically unusable. Any one know of a different product to replace my Sonos system with? I can't even get support, they keep me on the phone forever only to tell me I have to wait for whatever updated to the app that will fix the problems.
I have several Sonos products in my home and used to love them. I could play multi room audio easily and the Google Assistant was fantastic on most of them. Since the app “update”, I can barely do anything. Music drops out, speaker groupings rarely work, speakers don’t show up, and I just discovered that I am unable to add the Google Assistant back to the speakers that support it, getting an error each time. And no, it isn’t my network, I am sick of hearing this. I have rebooted my router and modem and all of the speakers and it does nothing. But you know what? I should have to reboot anything, that is what the software should handle. I received the email about the Black Friday deals and thought about buying new Era speakers to replace HomePods in some rooms but after the issues I’ve had decided never again. The HomePods or even my old Google speakers work flawlessly and cost a lot less money and I’m instead looking for replacements of the Sonos speakers in my home and will sell them.
,: Greetings, all. I am a guitarist who recently purchased a “TuneBoy” - A Portable Rechargeable 5W Mini Guitar & Bass Practice Amp with Clean/Distortion Channels & Bluetooth 5.0. I can pair it with my iPhone or iPad. But from there, I have no clue how to pair it with my Sonos system (Arc SL, two One SL’s). Just wondering if anyone knows how to pair a non-Sonos device like this mini-amplifier to one’s Sonos sound system. Any and all ideas and suggestions would be very welcome indeed.
I am so disappointed with the Sonos app. Here we are going into the holidays and my app is completely unusable. I can’t even get enough time on the app to search for a solution before it boots me to the constant update loop. So basically my speakers are sitting ducks. This is ridiculous! Huge investment down the tube.
I used to be able to use Amazon Japan to purchase Sonos products but that option has been scaled back so the choices available are now extremely limited. In fact, they were never able to supply me with an Arc.I want to purchase an Arc Ultra. Thanks
According to Australian Consumer Law a consumer must be able to get products repaired or replaced if the product develops a Major Fault, even in the product is well past the “Warranty period”. The rights extend as long as the product should reasonably be expected to last. These rights are outlined here: https://www.accc.gov.au/system/files/Warranties%20and%20refunds%20-%20a%20guide%20for%20consumers%20and%20business.pdf The definition of a Major Fault outlined as follows:What makes a product problem majorA major problem means the product:is unsafe is very different from the description or sample has either one serious problem or several smaller problems that would stop someone buying the product if they knew about them beforehand can’t be used for its normal purpose, or another purpose the consumer told the seller about before they bought it, and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time.I’ve emphasised the last two dot points, because ever since the May app update, I think both h
Not my intention to troll- just a very frustrated former customer-I have spent hours with customer service on fixing my Gen 1 speakers and no mention of the S1 app or anything to that nature. So for those who responded kindly, thank you. I cannot believe the audacity of this company to completely screw over its Gen 1 customers. Just give us the old app back and keep the “updated” one for new products. What a horrible model you have for your customers who were with you from the beginning! Corporate at its best ( puke!)
Sorry but why is Sonos so f****** s***. I have emailed almost everyone on the f****** board my system has been f***** since they throught they could make it better and nothing Emailed every 2 weeks f*** if I am phoning them and being cut of their review on trust pilot in at the bottom of the barrel how the f*** do you get these dump f****** to listen any ideas Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct
Why is the Sonos app so bad? It's sluggish often unresponsive and beyond glitchy.
I have an arc two moves in a Rome, which are only two years old and recently completely stopped working. I have spent a total of six hours troubleshooting, two hours of which on separate occasions I waited the queue for 40 minutes to finally be answered and an hour later they had nothing else for me. This is a horrible way to treat customers and a horrible way to make them upgrade to a new system after only two years because after all, isn’t that the intent? FYI, good customer service means that you call in once and when they can’t find an answer, they escalate it and call you back. You should not ever have to wait in a queue over and over and over again.
Before I activate my 15% off Upgrade Offer, does anyone know if it will take 15% off the Black Friday sales, or do they not stack? Thanks.
I'm wondering if Sonos can make a product that has Powerline network capability, in that way, you can connect your device anywhere to the power outlet and it connects to the network available on the place using the electricity directly to the router ?
Hi there! I have a TP-Link AX1500 (main router), a TP-Link RE505x (range extender), 2 x Era 100s (one directly above main router with a turntable fed via USB-C - AUX, and the other 5-10 metres away on a bookshelf). I also have a Move 2, which usually sits about 15-20 metres from the main router and about 5 metres from the extender. I’ve noticed that when the speakers are grouped together, (or I’m using only the Move 2 in its primary location stated above) live radio streams lose connection for 5-15 seconds at a time (I stream NTS radio, MyTunerRadio, and The Lot Radio quite a bit, so dropouts are unaccepteable). Spotify is totally okay! Since turning off my range extender, I have managed to more or less completely alleviate the dropouts (funnily enough the signal level doesn’t seem to be any weaker anyway on the Move 2 with the extender off - which is the one speaker in the network that would need some support from the extender, which leads me to believe the Move 2 may have been ignori
I have decided to open a dispute through my Visa credit card, because Sonos is not providing the Return Shipping label which they promised to email me after they agreed to accept my Return of a Sonos product I recently purchased.Sonos sent me the Return Authorization immediately but wrote that I must wait for the Shipping label that will come in a separate email.I have called Sonos several times and they promise to get me the label within 48 hours, its been 7 days and I have not received it yet. Therefore I have decided to open a dispute through my Visa credit card company and hopefully Visa can bring some pressure to bear.If anyone has any suggestions pls get back to me.
Ordered an Arc Ultra and two Era 100s with speaker stands. Order status says “allocated”. Called and rep could not explain what “allocated” meant. Does anyone knows what “allocated” means under order status? Thanks!
Sonos is advertising to link to Alexa on iHeart or TuneIn and it’s setting off my Alexa device. Anyone else? You would think that, with all the stupid issues with the app, they would phrase the ads so they wouldn’t cause that problem.
After a total of approximately 6 hours and 3 days of phone calls w Sonos, 2 hours with Spectrum/Charter and 5 different techs.....My Sonos is still not connected to the wifi and closing remarks from last technician was there is an issue between Sonos 1 and Spectrum and you can Google it to read about it......I told him Sonos should read it and FIX the issue for their customers.Anyone else have this issue?
My Sonos AMP is only 3 or 4 years old and has started buzzing constantly. I have troubleshooted it myself and it happens with everything unplugged (apart from power) and does the same thing in different properties in different areas, so it’s not my electrics. I have tried different power cables and factory resetting - no joy. I can hear the buzzing when I am trying to relax in my living room with no audio, but also when listening to music and watching TV. I spoke to Sonos live chat yesterday and Sonos support on the phone today, and I am very dissapointed to learn they will not offer any support, fix or replacement. I have loads of Sonos products and have always recommended them to my friends and family. I thought they would be able to offer more, as this is my most expensive Sonos product. Can someone please help to get my AMP fixed or replaced? I cannot afford spending £699 on a new one when I only bought it 3 years ago. Surely Sonos is better than this?
I’d like to be able to restrict parental control to my Sonos roam, which is the one my kids use.
so again the dreaded issues with returns to Poland. Despite giving both playbar waybills to DHL along with the labels and all being ok these have been returned to me today sayingh cant process as no invoice details to sendSonos say its a DHL issue and DHL say its a sonos issue, been going round the houses trying to sort and gettimg nowhere, the 14 day return period is nearly out and struggling to resolve, anyone able to shed any light @SONOS @Sonos Support as we will get charged
Feature description:Lock Volume is a feature that allows the owner of Sonos speakers, to lock the volume level of speakers at a specific level. This ensures that the volume of the locked speakers won’t change when adjusting the volume of all other speakers at the same time from my Iphone. For example, in a bathroom, you may want the volume to stay the same, while in your kitchen or living room, the volume levels may vary more frequently. How to use it:1 - Sonos owner, goes into the Sonos app.2 - Clicks into a speaker or group.3 - Sets the volume (30) and checks a checkbox to lock the volume at this level.4 - When I’m streaming music to all Sonos speakers from my Iphone, I can change the volume up and down without affecting the locked speakers. Use Case:1) I'm having visiting guests, and they want to play music through all the speakers in the house, but I prefer to keep the bathroom at 30 and the bedroom at 50. Since I locked the volume on these speakers, the guests can adjust the volume
Has anyone been able to successfully redeem a frontline worker / military discount code? None of the codes appear to work. This functionality seems to be broken for quite some time. I also noticed that older codes that worked were in the format of MIL15-XXXXXXXXXX but are now MIL25-XXXXXXXXXX. It’s a 15% discount. Maybe that’s the issue?
Hello, So I just switched router and hooking up Sonos wireless to the new WIFI seems impossible. I’ve read threads here as well as on Reddit and it seems to be pretty common and obviously connected to the new app and its issues. What works now is Sonosnet with one of my speakers wired directly to the router. I can then control the speakers through my computer wirelessly, but not through the app. S1 found the wired speaker and then sends me to S2 which doesn’t find anything. Spent hours trying different things suggested by the community but I now have to accept that these 5+ hours were wasted. Sonosnet atleast lets me use my TV and surround system even though I can’t access specific settings which I could through the app. I’ve tried switching different networks, turning off networds, factory-resetting a Play:1, etc. Nothing works. Is there a point in continuing this or should I just accept this temporary fix and wait for Sonos to get their shit together in a coming update that might be mo
