Can the WiFi radio on the ace ultra be turned off if not in use?  

I have noticed two problems with Sonos and Apple lately.  These problems have been seen on a relatively new imac and a mac air. The problems are: open sonos from dock and it just sites. i got to finder and its not responding. close out and send report to apple. when it does open at times comes up with can’t find your system - check firewall. close out of sonos re-open immediately and no issues.i do wonder if the two are related but unsure.  

I’ve added YouTube music to my list of services on Sonos. I have playlists and liked songs but nothing shows up on the Sonos app under YouTube music, says no playlist found. .. thinking I’m missing a step. If I go directly to YouTube music on iPad, iPhone, or tv.. they show up.The YouTube page on Sonos is pretty much zero.. anyone use this music source on the Sonos app? Pic if what I get.

Yesterday ABC Radio National stopped playing on Sonos 1. Did the standard checks… it will play on a standalone Sonos 2 speaker, and all other stations still play on both 1&2. I’ve tried using Sonos Radio and RadioApp (I know it was taken off TunedIn a while back).  when i try through SonosRadio nothing happens, when i try through RadioApp it gives the ‘unable to play/connection is lost’ message - but i can still play other radio stations.

My speakers don’t seem to be loud enough 

Hello,I have 2 questions, but related I suppose :I wanted to re index my local library, but my Sonos windows app does not seem to work anymore. I tried to upgrade it but it is nowhere to be seen on the Sonos web site, is it being deprecated ? I realized there now was a web app, but it does not seem to allow library re-indexing.So bottom line, how can I now re-index my local library ?Thanks

The speakers ping at higher volume. Definitely over priced...

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. View into the folder for albumDoing a re-scan of the library does not fix the issue. But I have found that by adding a new album to my library fixes the issue after a re-scan. However I have noticed that adding a new album can correct one problem but then suddenly another suddenly is inflicted with the same issue.So I am very confused as why adding one album can suddenly cause this issue with

Had same issue with Sonos as it starts with wrong room. Since there seems to be no option to assign a room as default,  I solved this issue with the next solution. Rename the room you want to be the default room by adding a 1 as prefix.  For example 'Living room' becomes '1 Living Room'. Do the same for your other rooms by using a 2, a 3 and so on. When finished close and re-open the app and notice the room that starts with 1 is now your default room. It works fine for me!

How do I connect a new remote to the sonos

Our house had a millisecond power outage midday and most Sonos products came back online after the router reset but Beam only plays tv audio via HDMI ARC and does not show up as connected in the SONOS phone app. I followed all SONOS help articles but the issue did not reconnect the Beam and there  is no article for how to reboot the Beam. I did all the power off protocols. Any suggestions?

I have been unable to lock Sonos settings for my Play Portable on iPhone 17 Pro MaxiOS 26.6 Sonos S2: 87.01.7 Version: 18.6 (build 96.0-79160)The settings are:Alexa Wake Word Bluetooth Idle Auto-Discount Battery Saver WiFi Power SaveI have been able to lock the above settings using my Android TabletAndroid:16 Sonos S2: 87.01.8 Version: 96.0-7960Ironically when doing so on my Android Tablet they appear as set on my iPhone. Incidentally, the Alexa Wake Word works as well.There is definitely an issue with Sonos running in iOS at least in my region. Another member in the UK indicated that their settings were working in iOS; although I don’t know which version.I have submitted Sonos diagnostics for iOS and Android 

Does anyone know when the new sonos ace ultra are being shipped out, am i right in thinking the 29th or has anyone received there’s early kind regards 

I’m just checking if the IPhone 17e is still incompatible with Trueplay tuning and if not if there is a timeframe for when it will be ready. Best wishes

Hello all,We have been waiting for so long to use Sonos move speakers as surround speakers, and finally it is there… but only working on 2nd generation of Move Speakers ?! really?! Can someone explain me why 1st Gen don’t have this ability ? Technically I mean, because software pov, I’m sure it’s not an issue. 

Hello Sonos community. For some time I have been sending my audio up to my Samsung tv from my Oppo player that I use. Bdp103. As we all know Sonos products don't support DSD from our 1 bit DSD sacds. So much for DSF files on our stick drives from previous files that we as music lovers have purchased. Well as our Prestine SACD players that are converted to pcm to be decoded from the same layer on our players that are 5.1 or 3.1 from 2ch sacds and we send them up the ladder to our tvs that our player is sending out the tv is the culprit giving is basic stereo that our players work so hard for us to hopefully enjoy 5.1 ,wwe all see stereo pcm This doesn't have to be no more. Why? By getting a audio extractor. Orie is the one I have HDA 934. Player is in the source input 3 Output for eArc goes directly to the soundbar arc/ Arcultra. In the EDID management where it says Auto you select that mode and leave it for sacds .leave tv on which only gets the video not the lovely Audio that our tv b

Why my Sonos move doesn't start?

Dear Sonos Team,Can you please add a Full TV Audio option for Era 100s used as surrounds.Currently, they only play surround-channel content. The workaround is to separate and group them with the Arc Ultra, but this can cause delay and requires separate volume control through the Sonos app.Not everyone wants surround-only playback. Please add:TV Surround PlaybackSurround FullFull would play the complete TV mix, including dialogue, through the Era 100s while keeping them bonded to the Arc Ultra with unified volume control.Since full TV audio already works when the speakers are grouped separately, this seems like a useful software option to add.  Best, jim

I have a music library on a NAS server consisting of ripped CDs and digitised vinyl.  All of these do play happily with some buffering via Music Library on Sonos.  I have recently started using Apple Music and have synced all the NAS music into Apple Music.  On my Sonos app on the Mac, it is all available and playable through Apple Music, but on the iPhone and iPad apps the album artwork and title is displayed but the tracks are all greyed out and unplayable.  If I hit play on the desktop app, the player shows up on the iPhone and iPad apps.  Does anyone have any ideas why the tracks aren’t available on the apps?

Hi all,I have a SL one which has been part of a home cinema for just over 2 years. The other day the speak looked like it was stuck in a update. Clicking once and then flashing from orange to white. I left tjis for most of the day and then followed all the support online. Reset power, check updates, reset system, reset network, and connect via ethernet. I think I have tried everything. I can control the cinema volume via the speaker. I have tried playing direct to the speak and again no sound. Currently the white light is on solid as normal. It seems like an update has killed it and if this is the case, should I be paying for a new one myself or has anyone got any magic fix. TIA Dan 

I usually use a third party app to play my sonos system, but I used the mac desktop client to add new music to my library. I can do this with the s2 app on my iPad, too. So that’s good.I just tried the web app, and I can not find where one re-indexes their library using that client. Where is it?

Saw this on two different machines after update from 26.6.2 to 26.7.  Sonos app launches to black window with white SONOS near top and the colorful pinwheel just spins.  Tried reinstall after deleting all caches and preferences.  Tried reinstalling Rosetta 2.  Same behavior.  Nothing in the logs - last entry shows “current network - :192.168.16.100:”.   Anyone else having this issue?
