Amp Multi issues

Is anyone else having issues with amp multi being able to join other Sonos speakers in different zones? If I am able to get any of the amp multi channels to join other Sonos speakers it, or they, will eventually drop.

Thanks for the reply. The amp multi is wired directly to Ethernet. Everything points to network issue. Was just trying to avoid having to drop another $1,000 just because I added amp multi.

@Clo1725, There are a few things to keep in mind regarding “Zones”.

Thank you. Unfortunately the inconsistent failures happen often with only two speakers zoned together. Most consistent is it involves an amp multi channel

Is it always the same channel? Have you checked with Sonos Support, the dealer, or the installer to ensure the Amp Multi isn’t defective and qualifies for a warranty claim?

Multiple channels and inconsistent. Dealer/Installer has spent much additional time not accounted for in the overall bid troubleshooting. Hats off to that installer. Looking for best Router & nodes option to get away from ASUS. Still leaning towards Eero. Curious what others have had the best reliability with.

I'm not sure if this also applies to your specific router model, but I'll attach the following just in case.

Asus RT and AX Series compatibility | Sonos

1. Is the Amp Multi still wired? Is it hooked up to the Asus router or a network switch?

2. Since the Amp Multi does not have any home theater capabilities, you can turn off Wi-Fi on it, so it won't connect to or interfere with the router's Wi-Fi.

Yes it’s connected directly to GT AXE16000. I will dig into your suggestion to turn off amp multi WiFi. Don’t recall anyone mentioning that yet. Thanks!!
