Port not working after set up with amp

I am having trouble getting my new Sonos Port to work. I set it up ok, it’s connected to my S1 controller and shows on my system. However, when connected to my amp (analogue connectors) no sound results. I thought it might be my amp so tried a different amp but same result. Have checked all the connections, wiring etc. Any ideas?

Check in the Port settings →  Line-Out -> Line-Out Level. It should be “Fixed”, but if you want Variable, make sure the Port volume slider is turned up while playing something from the Port.

Depending on the make and model of your amp, the RCA “OUT” to an input such as a “CD” or “Tape” input, should give you sound.

You can test the Port output if you plug an RCA to 3.5 mm headphone cable into it. Won't be very loud but will confirm the Port is working.
