App tells me that I keep needing to update network, even after I do it and it’s verified, it tells me I am not connected
I have some ghost boxes (dimmed out, don’t do anything when touched, can’t be removed when editing the list) in my Sonos favourites in the iOS app. On the web player they are not visible. anyone know how I can rid of them or can Sonos fix this bug? tia
Savez vous si ces produits seraient compatibles ?Merci d’avance Moderator Note: Translation by Google Translate- Hello,I'd like to invest in a Sonos bundle with two Sonos Era 100 speakers and one Sonos Beam.My projector is an Epson EH-TW5400 and doesn't have a Bluetooth output. I have 2 speakers, one in the office, the other in the family room. The office speaker Works just fine, the family speaker is not detectable. I did the rest by unplugging from electrical but its still not detectable. Its plugged directly into the router.
Why won’t my Play:1 and Play:3 connect after a short power cut? I have factory reset both products and also reset the S2 app…all to no avail. I cannot reconnect the Play speakers and this has been over a week now, but somehow my Beam seems miraculously immune to any issues whatsoever and has remained constantly connected! You couldn’t make it up. Why is Sonos so clunky and difficult to use? Has anyone had a similar issue or maybe help with any advice?
Hello,I have a sonos arc ultra + sub mini + 2 era 100 as surrounds. I have a problem when I recalibrate the system if trueplay has already been done once. The sweeps are very loud and almost unbearable. I have to do a hard reset (and link the sub and the era 100) before performing trueplay again. By now it is the only way i found to perform trueplay at a bearable volume. Is it a normal behaviour for the arc ultra or do i miss something ? I use an iPhone se with advanced trueplay. Moreover, if i perform simple trueplay on my android Phone, the sweeps are also very loud and the switch on/off for trueplay does not appear, even if trueplay finished without error.
My Sonos system is getting along with my SMB NAS now. Except one album out of 2000 is showing up wrong! Below you can see that Sonos shows two copies of the same album, although of course there is only one. And (much worse!) that “album” only has one song listed, even though there are 20 on that album. Looking at the tags there isn’t anything odd about that album. Ideas? The single songthe album shown twice
I have a SL speaker in my garage I want to run 24/7/365 but that never works. After a couple days the music stops, I go the app and tap play and away it goes again. Why does it just quit playing music?
When playing a podcast in bbc sounds the queue is back to front so old episodes keep playing. Has anyone found a fix to this?
Please see the images of our living room area, Era 300’s were placed on floor behind Sofa on floor stands, made room look untidy, cramped for space and cables etc Previously had Play 1’s mounted in bookcase on virtually empty shelves thes were less intrusive and better for general music, was persuaded to upgrade to Era 300’s whilst great for Atmos and movies, placement in middle of room is not great for music. Have played around with having them slightly higher and wall mounted and generally happy with sound. Just need some advice on best position to mount as rear left is in a corner and rear right slightly more open location. Aware Trueplay will deal with most of issues. Should I mount at 2m above floor leaving only 40 cm from top of speaker to ceiling so will need to mount upside down. Should they be flat against wall or angled in at approx 45 degrees?TV and Arc in process of being wall mounted, desk size reduced and Sofa moving back about 1/2M System Sub Gen 3Arc UltraEra 300 pair
HiThere seems to be a lot of conflicting information about which Sonos speakers play lossless and also how to tell. I have the following set up: Play:1 and One paired in one roomPlay:1 and One paired in second roomEra 100 in another room Will any of these play lossless? If so, how do I make sure it happens or is it automatic?I always play directly from the Sonos app with integrated Apple Music thanks
I am strongly considering purchasing the new Sonos Play. I first need to know if this speaker can be used in combination with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) that is currently being used for my TV. Or can the Move 2 do this?
I bought 10k worth of Sonos and now none of the Move 2’s stay connected for more than a day. I call support daily and they have no fixes. They say it is WiFi related because that places the blame on someone else. I don’t buy it. Before I spend 10k on another solution and take joy in burning my Sonos equipment and posting on YouTube+ I wonder if others have recommendations.
I think the answer to the question that I am asking is “No” but just in case someone has found a solution, I wanted to ask anyway.I enjoy listening to college baseball on the weekends while I am doing chores and working outside. Is thee a way to connect my iPhone 16 Pro (as it plays my Varsity app) to my Sonos so I can listen throughout the house and my garage? Now, here is the hard part. I have the Gen 1 Sonos bridge.I really do not want to drop $500 on a new product from Sonos as my current system still works fine. Feel free to laugh at me and make fun of me but I am hoping someone has a solution. Thanks.
I have a play one that has been working on the Sonos S1 controller app. I recently took it on vacation and it looks like it somehow was updated so that now it will only play on the new Sonos App. Based upon the Help articles, it says that I can downgrade it back to the Sonos S1 controller app but I can’t seem to figure how to do that.
Music Library scan ignoring first 100 or so subfolders of my first shared folder. I have a shared drive with music. The top directory structure of the folder looks like this:/1/2/3Each of these top level folders has subfolders named /Bandname (whatever the name of the band is). There are thousands of files. around 2TB or so of music. This worked pretty well for a long time now after Sonos re-enabled this functionality with the app revamp. For whatever reason Sonos library scan is now ignoring the first 100 or so subfolders of only the very first folder /1. The rest of the folders are fine. I fiddled with this drive, defraged it, renamed the folder, dragged the files off, defraged again, put the files back, renamed the drive itself, changed the drive letter. Sonos scan still ignores them. Could be that 1 or more speakers has a corrupt or full memory? Would resetting 1 speaker fix it? Anybody ever see this? Don't want to reset every speaker in the house. Seems extreme.
Looking for some guidance on the best way to incorporate my new Sonos Beam with my existing equipment. What i currently have:Main TV Room:4 wired speakers - 2 front, 2 rearWired subTV3rd party amp that’s controlling all thoseRest of the downstairs:Sonos ConnectSonos Connect AmpThese are controlling a few other zones downstairs, AND they are an Input into my TV room amp for when we want Sonos playing the speakers in that room Now I’ve added a Beam that I want as a center channel for 4 speakers and amp in the TV room. Can that be configured with my current equipment or do I need a separate amp?
I have Ace connected to my account. I want to give it to somebody else (who has a different account). How do I remove this Ace from my account so that the other person can add it to their account?Thx
Hi,I'm experiencing an issue with my brand new Beam (Gen 2) where dialog audio occasionally cracks/distorts. It doesn't happen constantly, it seems to occur at certain frequencies or volume levels, but it happens frequently enough to be noticeable and distracting.See the attached video for an example. Around the 7-second mark, when the person says "where even more adventures await us," you can clearly hear the word "more" cracking. This is not a recording artifact, it sounds the same (worse, I’d say) in person.Setup:TV: Samsung QLED 65Q74T Speaker: Sonos Beam (Gen 2) Connection: HDMI eARCTV Sound Settings:Output: Receiver (HDMI-eARC) HDMI-eARC Mode: Auto Digital Output Audio Format: Auto Digital Output Audio Delay: 0 Dolby Atmos Compatibility: OnWhat I've already tried:Digital Output Audio Format: switched from Auto to PCM (Pass-through is grayed out) Dolby Atmos Compatibility: toggled On/Off Digital Output Audio Delay: adjusted various values Trueplay Tuning: toggled On/Off, redid the
I have a Sonos AMP, bought new in october 2025. Last couple of months I have noticed the sound is quite harsh and fatiguing, especially for TV sound through HDMI ARC. Both Stereo PCM and Dolby Digital coding give the same problem. For example, some voices tend to be too sharp and slightly sibilant. Other sharp sounds also feel too harsh. Here is what I have tried without success:Adjusting treble slider to -10 Experimenting with Loudness on/off Turning on and off Night mode and Speech Enhancement Factory reset Tried 2 different speaker pairs (Dali Oberon 1 and Dali Kupid) Changed to higher quality speaker cablesIs anyone else experiencing this? I found some threads about similar issues but they were pretty old. Could this be a hardware issue on my device? Or could this problem have reappeared with a recent firmware update?
Have music library on Windows 11 transferred from IPod Classic. Is it possible to listen to the music on my ACE headphone? I can play music through Android phone, but unable to listen to music with ACE headphone. Apologize for not further clarifying; not certain how to provide further detail. I want to listen to MY music on MY pc via MY ACE. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
I keep trying to access my systems settings in the app, but when I select the gear in the top right, it keeps redirecting me to Sonos/com to login, which I do. then, it just keeps me on the site, where I cannot do anything related to my account. advice?

Hi, I recently purchased a sub mini to connect to my beam gen 1. The bass on my beam was very distorted, sound like a blown speaker when any bass was present. I bought the sub mini to take on the bass the beam couldn’t handle anymore. I currently have the bass on the EQ at -10 so that I don’t hear bass coming from the beam. The only way I can hear any bass from the sub is when I turn the bass on the sub up to +15. My question is, is it worth keeping this set up having to keep the bass on the beam off and the bass on the sub all the way up. I feel like the two should be working together to produce clean bass for movies and music. Contemplating returning the sub mini and going a different direction all together.
I’m not sure if I can do anything about this strange behavior in some settings or if it’s a bug. It’s present on both iPhone and iPad. If I’m in player mode like shown on left picture and want to go somewhere else the first time I press an icon, it doesn’t change to that mode but some previous mode. I’m pretty sure it did not work like this a couple of updates ago. Not sure when it changed. On iPad it’s even worse because the controls jump from bottom to top when going from player mode in the same way as shown in the pictures. Seems like a minor bug to fix to me. If it’s not some obscure setting I haven’t found.
