Controllers and Music services

Hi All,Woke this morning to find that if I search an Artist and go to choose them from Qobuz, I get 'No selections are available' - this only affects the search. I can choose Qobuz from my services & all my favourites are there and play perfectly. This only affects Qobuz, Spotify etc show results as usual.Have rebooted the router, no change. Re authorised Qobuz, still no difference. Any ideas? I'm still running S2 16.1 (no intention of updating currently) 

I am very disappointed by the long lasting ´alarm issue ´ and I’m sure not the only one.  What do you suggest ? BR,A tiny client of Sonos…

Anyone having issues with Qobuz in the UK on the S1 app? Every time you select an artist catalogues don't appear. Seems to have been like this for a week or so. You can view under albums but it's a pain as you don't just get that artist.

I updated my Lenovo laptop to Windows 11, and now Sonos won’t connect. I have Sonos One. I did all the suggested steps (turning wifi off/on, restarting laptop, unplugging router/plugging back in, powering down Sonos speakers/powering back up), but no luck. Sonos is an allowed app through my Avast firewall.I have repeated the above steps several times. Any ideas? Thank you.

This has been posted about many times.  Sonos claimed a year ago that this was fixed, but also posted that it wasn’t a bug, but a feature, requiring us to manually change tags in every compilation album. I guess that means I should give up on this “feature” ever being fixed and, per recommendations, I downloaded mp3tag.  Changing album artist to various artists worked for the three albums I tried.  So my questions is, for those who know tagging and mp3tag better than I, should I just go to the “compilations” folder in itunes and select all songs on that tag and make that same change, rather than going albuum by album?  Seems that would work but I hesitate to make such changes, since they’d be, I assume, impossible to undo if it messed things up.  Thank you.  

For about a week my Sonos morning alarm on my One SL speaker between 5 & 6 am fails. When I’m awake I can see in the Sonos app that ‘connection to Spotify was lost’ for each song it attempts to play. I have to go to the Spotify app to play a song first and then I can go back to Sonos to play music from Spotify (either directly or via an alarm again). Every morning same issue - it’s like the backend connection between Sonos and Spotify gets reset or ‘lost’ during the night. My home network is optimal and the speaker has a -59 dBm internet connection - so very good. This just started out of the blue in the past week

How do I get a new members playlist on the Deezer app onto my Sonos playlists.I can't seem to access the playlist on Sonos 

Sonos app stops after song and doesn’t go to next. This happens irrespective of streaming service or location (e.g. if i use on a separate system). Using airplay (eg. Spotify connect) works fine. How do i fix this?

Does anyone know how I can permanently delete this from my home page?

Hi Team:Issue Description:go to Sonos App => Amazon Music => My Music => Albums, you will see nothing there, even though I have 7 albums in my Amazon Music library, but I cant see any of those albums in Sonos.Same happens to “Artists”, but no issue for “Playlists”.I attached some screenshots for your reference, could you help to check if this is Amazon issue or Sonos ? Thanks  

Can anyone advise on this please? I have a lot of Sonos components - two Connect:Amps, 4 Play 1s and 3 Play 3s. Everything is running on Sonos S1 as most of them won’t support S2, and all my music files (about 50,000) live on a 10 year old Buffalo Linkststion Duo LS-WXL NAS The NAS also has video and movie files that are accessed by the various TVs around the house The whole home network is wired so nothing, including the Sonos, is wireless (except for iPads etc). It looks like my NAS is failing - I’m still working out if it’s a failed drive which would be easy to replace or if it’s the whole unit. If it’s the whole unit that needs replacing then I can do that but my question for anyone here is, what replacement NAS do it get? I need it to run with Sonos S1 or I’d have to replace my entire and expensive Sonos system, which I don’t want to do as there’s nothing wrong with it. Im not en e

I have Sonos for PC version 17.2.1 and Windows 11 24H2.  Sonos components 1 Boost, 1 Connect Amp, 1 Play 3 and 2 Play1'sBoth the Sonos app on iOS and Android work perfectly. My Issue is:If I open the PC Sonos app while my antivirus is running it immediately shuts itself down. I can open Sonos app before I load the antivirus software and it works perfectly, if I keep it open it works OK even after the antivirus is loaded and running, but if I close it I can’t reopen it again without shutting down the antivirus.I have made sure that both Sonos.exe and Library Services are allowed through the firewall. It is running on a private network.I have tested the issue with the following antivirus systems:  Bitdefender (my preferred), Norton, Malwarebytes and Windows Defender.  All produced exactly the same issue.Does anyone have any suggestions?Tony

Hello, For the first Time, Qobuz is not avaible in my SONOS S1 , on IOS , IPADOS and Mac OS , I changed nothing , my internet is OK, I can use Spotify and others on Sonos S1 , there’s just a message trying Qobuz on SONOS « communication not possible » I still can listen Music on Qobuz application but not possible to send next on AirPlay 2 on Sonos devices I close Sonos application, try to reload Qobuz rights on Sonos S1 , but still not working.  Is there a technical problème between Qobuz and Sonos since Yesterday ? Thanks 

I’ve been having serious problems with Pocket Casts ever since the major Sonos app overhaul. I’m finding that “New Releases” under PocketCasts often does not load properly. At this point, I can force it to load by tapping “Try again” after that appears and that will manually load the podcasts. I have a shortcut on my homescreen for PocketCasts New Releases and pretty much every time I open the app that will say unable to load. If I remove that shortcut, reauthorize PocketCasts and add it again, often it will appear but then it doesn’t update and soon shows the “Unable to load” status again. This has been happening despite my trying all kinds of things to resolve this: reauthorizing PocketCasts, removing it as a content service and then re-adding it, updating the app, resetting the app, changing control channels, tweaking my wifi settings, etc. I used to use an Android phone to control Sonos but currently I have a newer iPad Pro, an iPhone 14 Pro, and an older iPad from about 10 year

I just subscribed to Sonos Radio HD, but the “HD” label isn’t showing in Now Playing. I tried reauthorizing and even deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app, but it still didn’t fix the issue.

Spotify doesnt connect to sonos system. I have an arc an sub and 2 are 100's. Its an expensive system.Its been going on for a couple of weeks. When i power off the router and turn it back on it works again til i use my tv again and im unable to reconnect to the speakers. Its been point out multiple times by the community and also on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/s/kmnD6vGcHx The lack of a response from sonos is just unheard off. Its an premium and expensive System they should fix this issue sooner than later. I noticed that since the latest update, press and hold play now does not work on favorites. It works on everything else. Tapping once on favorites still works.

I’ve had a Sonos Beam 2 all of 3 days and am wondering if I’ve made a mistake. I would have expected a pretty slick experience yet it seems the simple task of getting BBC radio to work is an utter PITA.After faffing on correcting my country etc to get it to let me setup the service I thought all was good. I asked Sonos to play BBC Radio 2 and it worked, same with Radio 4. This worked fine for a couple of days. Now suddenly though I’ve changed nothing I’m now just met with silence.I can manually get the station to play via the Sonos App, however if I use Sonos Voice it fails, having looked in the app I can see its selected the requested station but then says ‘unknown content’ and is trying to play it through TuneIn. I’ve no idea why it’s suddenly started doing this when it was working perfectly?I found another thread explaining a convoluted way to get it to work with Alexa, but I don’t want to use that and frankly if it can't process a basic voice command like th

Yesterday when I tried to play BBC Radio 3, I got the message “cannot play BBC Radio 3” . It was the same for all BBC channels. Any ideas?

I recently got two Era 100’s as a gift. I live in an apartment complex that uses wirestar internet as a community wide internet service. There is one network “Wirestar - Secure” that everyone uses but each unit has its own unique password. I’ve connected and reconnected my era 100’s many times and I have issues with the app. A lot of the time the app shows there is no system on my WiFi. Sometimes it connects and gives an error when trying to play music. Sometimes it will start to play music and then I lose control over volume or pause/play. I do not have access to my WiFi portal to look at the settings. What can I do to get this to work?

I cannot get BBC radio 2 through the Sonos app today 

Hi,  I'm unable to play anything on Spotify through the Sonos app. I keep getting the error: could not play xyz, the connection to spotify was lost.  I'm able to play it through the spotify app but it takes 15-20 seconds for the track to start. I've rebooted everything, deleted and re-installed the sonos app and removed and re-added spotify in sonos.  All apps and system are updated.  Any help world be appreciated. Hi, For some reason I had to delete my system and re create it. Now when I try to add Qobuz it says "Qobuz wasnt added. Something went wrong, try again later" after I follow the authorisation process.Under my Qobuz account, Sonos shows as an external service but I have no way to remove it from Qobuz.Diagnostic sentThanks in advance. Moderator Edit - Recorded and removed diagnostics number.

I am now getting “An alarm is playing in X room” in-app notifications all the time. Seems to be happening since the last update. I know an alarm is going off. I set the goddamn thing. I want it to go off. What I don’t want is a pop up notification telling me it’s going off. That is incredibly stupid and annoying. I see no way to turn off this notification. I am on the most recent app update, iOS.The only thing for “Pop-up Messages” in the whole app I can find are for when “new prodcuts or features are available” in the App Prefences section. Doesn’t seem like that’s the place to disable this. Doesn’t seem to be anything about pop-up notifications in the alarm section of the app either...

I have purchsed 2x Sonos One speaker and a Beam a year or a bit more ago. The main purpose was to put it in each room (bedroom and 2 kids rooms) to set alarms and wake up next to music. Now I don’t see that function anymore and is frustrating me as it was probably the only reason I decided to purchase Sonos. Can someone help me out how I can still set the alarm.Thank you!
