Controllers and Music services

I have a 2020 I phone SE, when using my arc and subwoofer…..the Sonos app will quickly disconnect from WI-FI AND Then quickly reconnect the music doesn’t stop when it disconnects….I’m just not able to pause or change volume, also when I go to settings and look at system the Arc and sub sometimes are said to not connected so I can’t adjust my volume settings….I have reinstalled app reconnected Wi-Fi and it solves the problem for few minutes….thinking about getting new phone but don’t want to have same problem if it is in fact the app. Any info let me know 

I am struggling with configuring my VPN (Norton 360) to work with online streams. I have set a split tunnel for the Sonos.exe desktop app in the VPN and that enables my NAS content without problem. However all online services seem to be inaccessible, Pandora, Amazon music, TuneIn Radio, Sonos Radio etc are not accessible with the VPN. I can toggle the services off and on with the VPN (some latency with VPN off as the Sonos desktop app seems to keep some memory on last accessed content)Note also that the streams are accessible with active VPN through a web browser without problemThanks for any advice on how to configure Sonos desktop or VPN

Hello all,I’ve an issue with my Sonos Amp and my LTE 4G router/modem TP-link MR600. Hoping I’d get som advice here 🙏🏻The Amp (wireless) gets its dynamic IP from the router but for some reason the Sonos app, which I’m told communicates with the router rather than the Amp, stops working along with the pop up “cannot connect to Sonos”.Upon rebooting the router it all works for an hour or two and then it fails again.The Sonos Amp is the only unit in the system.I’ve no guest-network.5Ghz is disabled Unfortunately the Sonos support stopped supporting when they learned I’m using an LTE modem, (fiber not available) as they cannot guarantee functionality for their products using 4G internet. I don’t quite buy that as the reason the app loses connectivity though. I do however realise that a combined modem/router like my TP-link MR600 may not be the best setup and that possibly a separate router would be preferred.Any help or hints would be ve

Can I use CONNECT with the new Sonos  S2 APP to Line-In music to an old Play:5 ?

Just got my sonos five and when I try to connect to my Apple Music app, I get the error message “We’ve run into a problem try again.”  I have tried all the trouble shoot that I have found on the various threads and nothing worked.

Definitely a Android App issue. Rooms and speakers appear and disappear from the system. It's not a connection issue. How do I know? My son has an iPhone and all speakers are there and functional. On my Samsung I have to switch wifi on and off or reboot my wifi. Again, my son's iPhone has zero issues. 

Some random iTunes songs wont transfer to sonos library. some are from the same album? 

After working with four Sonos tech support people, my wife somehow got my playlists findable on my Windows computer However, they are not findable on my iPad and iPhone. However, the song that is playing does appear as normal on the  two devices when the sobg is playing. Any ideas?

I have a collection of Gen 1 products and a perfectly usable Gen 1 iPhone controller. I want to buy a Sonos Five. Can I have a separate Gen 2 controller on my phone for this one product, whilst leaving everything else on the Gen 1, and untouched?

Cannot connect sonos

Installed beam soundbar. Attempted to set truplay. No noise present iPhone microphone clean truplay indicates noise is present and to attempt setup later? 

When i attempt to initiate truplay to see beam audio it fails indicating that there is miscellaneous noise is area. There’s no noise and i have cleaned iPhone mic. Options?

Sonos cannot find music on my PC.  It is looking for //"laptopname"/Music.  I don't have Music in my root directory.  I see I have my Music directory under Desktop.  My music is in the standard Music directory for Windows 11.  How do I fix this? This used to work.  I do not have iTunes and am not interested in getting it.

We are not able to get music files to connect, I think it has something to do with bitdefender, but so far nothing I have found online is helping.  This is on a Windows 10 system.  

I have reset the router etc but not able to connect to SONOS etc but showing on network and http://:1400/ commands work, it stopped working a few days ago, Any suggestions?

Is there an easy way to do it without having to terminate Apple Music app and Sonos app, then restart music stream from Sonos app? Otherwise Sonos app always displays “playing through Airplay”. iPhone doesn’t allow 2 audio streams, so I cannot Airplay music to Sonos and eg watch YT on built in speakers. Stating music on Sonos app is slow and buggy, so it would be great if there was an easy way to switch the streams quickly 

Hello, I hope someone can help as this is driving me nuts.A few days ago both Deezer Hi Fi and Tidal both stopped each track approx 10s early on each track. Apple Music doesn’t do it though.So far, Sonos haven’t had the slightest idea despite 3 lengthy calls.I’m using Connect with an outboard Ifi Signature Zen one Dac via co ax Prodac cable .It doesn’t  do it if using within their own app bluetoothed so it’s not the streaming services I’d think . Kind regards Stephen  

Why has my Sonos Port stopped playing Magic Radio Auckland 100.6 FM .. all the other Magic Stations in NZ seem to work ok through it.

Having a connection issue. Can someone tell me what is the most likely cause?  My products or amps are showing up once I hit the Air Play button, but once I press on one of my listed amps, it spins and never connects.  I’ve unplugged and plugged power for the amps to no avail. Ty 

 I have 3 speakers in 3 different rooms. Most times I only want to listen to the speaker in the room I am in but there are times where I may want to play speaker 1 and 2, or 1 and 3, or 2 and 3, etc. It seems like I have to create a group and then delete it if I want to play on different combinations of speakers. These are S2 speakers that are downgraded to S1. Ideally, I would like to play something on a speaker and then check and uncheck other speakers as desired.

I have been running my Sonos system with the same setup for at least two years now. My issue started this morning when I could not access any music. After troubleshooting, I discovered that my Sonos Boost was slightly unplugged. I plugged it back in and reset the Boost device. Now, I can’t add the boost to my system. It either says that it could not find the device, or could not find the network. It basically says “We couldn’t find any Sonos products on XXXXXX (wifi) so we can’t set up your Boost”.I have reset my ios device network, rebooted my router, and reset the Boost device, but still cannot establish a connection with my wifi. I was hoping that my Sonos controller on my PC could assist me, but I think they are two separate systems (?). Any suggestion would help me out greatly.

I’ve been building out my Sonos system in my home a bit at a time.  I started with a Connect amp to power bookshelf speakers in my study and living room; next I added a pair of Play1 speakers in my family room. Then I was gifted a Sonos Move by my kids for Christmas, and subsequently added a Sub to the living room.  All of these work well together and separately.  They all appear in my iOS app as well as in Sonos Controller for PC (Windows 10).  The problem is with the last two additions: a pair of Sonos Play 1 speakers, one in the master bedroom and one in the spare bedroom..  Having carefully and successfully added these two speakers (after resetting and updating both to work with my Sonos2 controller), they periodically cease being able to access my music files on my computer and disappear from the PC controller (though they still appear on my iOS Sonos app and can access SiriusXM).  Any help would be greatly appreciated; getting them to reconnect to the rest of my household Sono

It’s been doing this since iOS 14.   Gives the two error messages on the Sonos app - “unable to connect to Sonos” also says “join a nearby Sonos system”.  You can follow these steps but it seems to just forget the Sonos system once again. Had this Sonos system for years and it only started with iOS 14- any ideas?
