I can probably live with the updated Sonos app, but not if I can’t rescan and update my local Music Library.  Half the music I listen to within my Sonos system exists on my network attached storage, which I add to regularly.  In the new app I cannot find the manage/update library command that I have used for for years.  Am I looking in the wrong places?  Is updating the music library no longer allowed?  No longer necessary? Although the Sonos App update is brutal (particularly when trying to program music for different rooms), the primary value of Sonos for me has been the ease with which I previously was able to access the thousands of music files I have stored on my NAS.

Can you not add music to the end of the queue  in the new app? WTH!  I like to queue up albums to listen to, but my only choice is to replace the queue. Im on IOS, using Apple music. Hope this is remedied soon. Otherwise I like the interface, but this for me is a big whiff. 

Like 1,000s of others the new mobile app upgrade is a disaster.  Amazingly unprofessional.  That said I can’t get even back to the app working at all - forget about playlists, searching, smbv1, etc.in a naive effort to fix the app I uninstalled the app for my iOS device (iPad) and recycled my sonos ports, and double checked I wasn’t running smbv1.  Attempted to reinstall the iOS app - prompted me through the steps - I enabled Bluetooth, location tracking, and local networking but app won’t load - fails when I search for existing system ( it is there and the windows pc app found it when I installed it after the trouble with the iOS app).the iOS app states it can’t access the local network but I do have that enabled.  I can’t find existing sonos setup,or add a new device (I was just going to start over and add my ports - but I can’t do that).the ports are on the network and have ip addresses and the windows app version did find them but the iOS updated app is fuba

I feel despite my update reporting I do not have the most recent version.. I could confirm this but my update section doesn’t tell me what version is running nor is there a confirmation doc that confirm was installed on my updated app. Other users are showing me a complete page I obviously don’t have. Isn’t the most recent 17.1? I only have 16.1.

Hi since the last Sonos update when I access the app on my Oppo A9 2020 mobile I just get a black screen with Sonos written in white and it won't go any further and then crashes really disappointed in this after investigating heavily in the system now having second thoughts about buying an arc and the new 300Any help would be appreciated Many thanks 

Can someone tell me where to find an official up to date list of Iphones that support Trueplay that a SONOS or IOS update has not broken.Also if anyone in the community has an older iphone that trueplay still works on id appreciate it if you could comment your model and IOS version here. FWIW I used to use an iphone 7 but its no longer supported so im forced to buy a new 1. I was bidding on an iphone 12 but was told a Sonos app update broke Trueplay on this device so i backed out. I recently bought in ceiling speakers and kinda pissed of not being able to tune them :(  

The latest app upgrade REDUCED functionality of Deezer. I can no longer play all Top Tracks of an artist consecutively. They will only play one by one. Please can you fix this?

I have 2 Play 3 speakers.How do I add a music older on my computer using MAC OS? When I try to do this it says Sonos was unable to add the folder?Also, when I try to add YouTube Music service it connects and shows up but I can’t see any playlists? It is blank.

I have two iphones.. one I sorrowfully updated to the new app.  The other still has the older S2Is there anyway I can move that app to the other phone?     

app won’t play to my speakers. have reinstalled, logged out and in, etc. I can see and select and adjust volume but when i play music it says it cannot connect. I cannot use the app to play music. worst update ever. 

I recently got an alert on my Sonos desktop (Windows 11) controller that an update is available. I am currently on 16.1. Has anyone out there upgraded beyond this version on their Windows desktop, and is their experience favorable or unfavorable? Is it advisable to upgrade given the disappointment with the iOS and Android upgrades? Thanks

Hey Sonos,Just my 2 cents worth in case you are listening…I was really exciting/optimistic for the release of the new Sonos App!I don’t need to repeat the long list of gripes/problems that I and others are having with the App.I think that you have unfortunately dropped the ball with releasing an App “update?” that is buggy and lacks quite a LOT of the functionality that was included in your “old” S2 App. You probably should have  left the old S2 App available for download until the new App is up to standard and contains a feature set that at least matches what is in your old S2 App.The lack of pre-warning from you regarding the number of missing features in the new app makes me question the level of respect you have for your existing Sonos customer base, which is concerning to me and should also be to you.I personally think that you are betting a LOT on the success of the new products being released later this year. T

Since updating to new Sonos app, I see all of my speakers in the app. When I select and play music, it appears as though all speakers are playing. However, I am getting no sound out of my Move, and very low volume, that cannot be adjusted, out of my Roam And Sonos 1 speakers. I can select and de-select each of the speakers, but it makes no difference. Same result. 

I have encountered the 913 nightmare update, and the following worked for me..W11 laptop - PLAY 1 stereo pairS2 APP Will not recognise any drive or storage other than that which is on “C” and in MUSIC folder.All shares and permissions have to be given for APP to read etc.Save your mp3s all in “C” Music and grant all permissions.  Then add as to Music library as usual            It has worked for meLike so many others I cursed the recent update that removed my library share settings  (913 nightmare).Good luck with this.

Cannot get Sonos to play with new updateit did initially
