What were you thinking #sonos for releasing that aabsolute abolishment of an app in its current state?? Give me the old app back while you complete your work. Someone should be fired for certain. What idiots! Who made the decision to release that thing? It’s useless for me and many others from the comments I’m seeing. I can’t build a queue? Are you kidding me?  The design seems to be okay so far. It’s much slower. Buggy. Couldn’t connect my mom’s system properly after updating the app. Very disappointed. I hope your approach to hardware design is MUCH different!

He actualizado aplicacion Sonos en Macbookpro y no accedo a la biblioteca musical, cuando intentas acceder a una canción dice que no hay permisos. Can somebody tell me please how to add iTunes to the new Sonos S2 app? It is amazing how much time I wasted to figure things out, and even called customer service. Was on hold for 72minutes. Thank you for the help.

I have had my Sonos speakers for a few years, they suddenly won’t group. I have a Sonos 5, and two Sonos play 1. They all play individually, but will not play together. Can anyone help please? Thanks 

Using playlists either from Apple or amazing music and although the alarms are now coming on and shuffling my music, they don’t turn off after the designated time after this damn update. Anyone have any ideas to fix this?   

It's downright embarrassing how bad the new app is. If I play on one speaker and want to activate more speakers, it fails every single time, and suddenly the speaker I wanted to add can start playing something else (music that has been played before) If I want to add a favorite radio station, where I have 3 right now and want to add a 4th, can't. It feels like a director's decision has been made that Sonos will have a new app and the developers have been given an end date when the app would be ready, but as we can see it is anything but finished. We as Sonos users who have spent probably quite a lot of money to have a premium experience, now get to experience something completely different. Isn't it better to withdraw this update, fix the problems and launch it again.

Since downloading the updated app, it doesn’t find any of the four speakers I have around the house so I can’t use the app.i can play through Spotify sometimes. does anyone else have this problem? I’m so annoyed as these speakers aren’t cheap and the sonos connection to wifi has always been patchy anyway. They need to do better! 

I have owned Sonos products for many years and this latest upgrade has robbed me of the use of my Arc and 2 subwoofers. They won’t connect to the system giving an error message. My 5’s and SL’s work as single elements but this is not good enough. The other problem areas mentioned by the very many disgruntled members also apply to me. I ask that you revert back to the previous iOS version while you go back and fix the many issues. I paid a lot of money for your products and insist you give me an app that enables me to use all the functions. 

What happens, the new apps is not working at all

I currently have 16.1 Build 78151030 installed, and the application is indicating that there is an update available to a newer version. According to CCleaner the new version number is 79052294.Is this just a small upgrade to V16.1 or is the same as the dreaded iPhone app?

Seit dem Update auf die neue Version verliert die App am Mobile Phone immer die Connection zu meinem System. Wenn ich dann neu installiere wird das System gefunden und verbunden. Nach dem einloggen sind die Musikdienste da und auch die Library aber das System wird nicht mehr erkannt, also wenn ich die Musikdienste dazu füge, verliere ich wieder das System. In the new App my rooms are in alphabetical order on the manage screen but on the “home” screen they are not. There is absolutely no logic that I can see to the order on the “home” screen, it makes no sense.When can we expect the new App to support the display of rooms in alphabetical order?

Unable to switch between radio stations using new App.  Also no control of volume or ability to mute radio station. The faults with this app appear to innumerable. It could not have been properly tested prior to release. 

How do I get the new Sonos app to play my iTunes songs on shuffle, I can only play 1 song at a time but I really want it to shuffle all my songs ?

Over night my library dissapeared .  Was listening to music at 2 am, this morning its gone,  and thats with the old, desktop software. Cant help be feel we are being attacked by the russians….

Just updated the new Sonos App, cannot find the sleep function!!! Where is it please?

I think I discovered the reason why Apple Music Lossless was behaving weirdly on my Eras 300. It would work sporadically, or require the scrubbing trick to get it to play a song, and this happen every single time after an Atmos song would finish playing. I disabled the Spatial Audio feature from the settings, and now lossless works perfectly! This is still pretty annoying, because the reason I bought the Eras 300 was for the Atmos support. I hope they fix this issue soon.
