Whenever I close the SONOS app on my android phone, I cannot get the app to open properly the next time I want to use it.  I keep getting the message “you need to update the app to use it properly.”  This is a massive pain in the ass and I was told today by the SONOS technical rep that this is a system wide issue and it will be resolved “as quickly as possible.”Is anyone else having this issue.  And did anyone just hear me scream “SONOS SUCKS?” 

Please help,I have recently had new broadband fitted and I cannot use the Sonos app. It’s stating the owner needs to sign in however I am the owner.

It seems the new app (on adroid at least) has removed the setting to be able to change the volume when not directly in the app (so cant use the buttons to change the volume when reading something on my phone, have to go back into the app to change the volume) anyone else

Hearing all the issues with the latest release and so don’t want to upgrade my system running 16.2, but my Sonos 5 v II needs to be upgraded to 16.2 from 16.1 for it to be part of my system. How to I to this without upgrading to the latest software.thx

Where has the timer gone? I use it every night for my mental health to get me to sleep. I use the app on my phone help please it's stressing me out look forward to hearing from Andy

How can I get back the Sonos App that allows me to Control the Beam attached to my 2 TCL TVs

I just updated the new app.  I used to find music on Spotify, play on my Sonos system, and then in Sonos I could control volume.  Now Sonos won’t acknowledge that I am playing music from Spotify, instead still showing what was playing before.  Help please.

I’ve been dealing with this most of the day.I made the mistake of updating my sonos app.Now it won’t recognize my speakers - I’m trying to install my move and five.I’ve factory reset them and added them back again to the app.Now it says they’re not registered. I click on register and the “fix it” button does nothing.I’ve reset the app, re-installed the app, logged out and logged back in - none of those have made a difference.This is extremely frustrating. Things were working just fine and with the new update, it’s all messed up.I’ve been on hold with support for 45 minutes so far.Is there a fix to this? EDIT: my other speakers (beam and amp) are working fine so it’s not a wifi issue.

Sonos is terrible.  After 5 years it couldn't find my speaker, now I can't connect youtube music.  It just says no content.  Cust setv hold time has been over an hour all day.  

the last forced upgrade does not work on Windows 7.  This old PC is just for running my music library and has worked up until now.  Then Sonos forces an upgrade and without warning I now have a useless system that will not play my music library.  

How can I play my personal music library from my iPhone or iPad via the Sonos app to be able to play it on my sinon system ? It seems to have disappeared ? 

So, with the latest update to the app, the ability to use a widget has disappeared, do we think this is just something that is yet to come with another update "sigh" or has it been missed completely?

Upgraded S1 on my iPad this morning at 08.30 and just had to abandon it now at 11.04 as it does not allow Spotify connection. Speakers disappear. Constant log in requests to adjust speaker settings, can’t find how to group speakers into zones and in a nutshell a very backward move and definitely not an upgrade.my question is does anyone know if I can roll back the app to the previous release as now I can only use my iPhone with Sonos and definitely won’t be upgrading the app on any other devices. 👎👎

I'm 10 songs into a Spotify playlist, the  Sonos app refuses to let me see whats playing next or on the list at all.  The display has been stuck on the 2nd song, about 2 mins in.It goes like this…"Ooo, this is a good song, what is it" says the wife"Let me check" says I"No chance, you're not allowed to know that information" say Sonos App!

I ran the new app update on my iPhone and now my favorite Amazon playlist will only load in 100 songs. I still have the old app on my iPad and all my songs play with no issue. How can I make all my Amazon songs play in the new app?

Hi community,So have had a sonos system using the S1 app for approx 10 years: absolutely brilliant. However, have recently got a Move, ditched the play 5 and bridge that was preventing me using the s2 controller and it has all got difficult. Short version is I used S1 app to remove play 5 and bridge. I got a message to say bridge didn’t remove but it had disappeared from system. Move to the new app, very clunky but worked. Tried to add the move, didn’t work. Looking on forums I reckon it was due to ghost bridge. Tried again next day, all worked - delighted! However now a week further on and app now tells me move not registered. Got through the process and doesn’t work. Tried all the suggested tips, unplugging products, router, resetting app etc. App tells me I have play 1, play 3 and playbar on system. However logging in via browser I also see my old bridge. Where do I go from here?!

Is Sonos 2 App version 80.00.08 faulty? 16.05.2024Eight weeks ago, I purchased a pair of Sonos Move 2 speakers and have been using them as a stereo pair to my satisfaction. However, after updating the Sonos 2 App to version 80.00.08 on my iPhone (iOS version 17.5) today, only the left stereo speaker is functioning.I’ve tried restarting my iPhone, deleting and reinstalling the Sonos 2 App, and resetting both Move 2 speakers, but the issue persists. In the new app version, I’m unable to connect the two Move 2 speakers as a stereo pair, even though both devices are properly connected to the router and appear as individual devices in the app. Additionally, I couldn’t perform any updates on the speakers.Since the Move 2 stereo pair worked flawlessly with my iPhone prior to this Sonos 2 App update, it seems there might be an issue with the new app version. One other item they broke with the new app:  Volume control from the volume slider Things missing:Used to be if you slid the volume bar to showed a numerical volume value eg: 5, 40, 55 now its just the slider If you tapped the volume bar it also brought up the volume customize button which when pressed allowed for EQ settings to be adjusted and ALSO allowed to adjust sub volume - that is now gone and you have to dig into the app to get it  Main ‘System’ screen if you had a Roam or Move speaker it would show the % charge left on the device - you now have to go into a few deeper screens to get that info This rework is NOT good and I question what the User testing revealed - or were they just hell bent on making the platform changes? I JUST entered into the SONOS world 2 months ago and went all in: Arc+ Sub2 Era 100sRoam Irritated at the changes to say the least 

Hi. I am having trouble connecting my Era 100 to my WiFi & mobile

Changed Internet provider to fibre optic and now having alot of trouble with sonos. Router is giving out 6ghz, or atleast 5.2 ghz, so after some research it looks like my sonos play 5 is not going to be able to connect via WiFi as it only connects to 2.4 ghz (if I've done my research properly). Is there a way to change my router to 2.4ghz so I can use my sonos again? I'm using an ethernet cable but obviously not ideal unplugging from the PC.

Since I updated my iPhone to the latest app I can no long see my system or any of my devices. I have tried rebooting all of the devices but this makes no difference. Luckily I have not updated the app on my ipad so I can still use this to get by.Can someone please help me fix the issue I have with the app on my iPhone.
