Controllers and Music services

Hello, where can we see the quality of the music (FLAC, mp3) in the new app? Thanks in advance. 

I currently have legacy products, bridge & connect that can only operate on S1. Pandora & Napster are still working, but I cannot add any music services or reauthorize XM. The S1 app is up to date, I think, version 11.14.  If I  do a system update within the S1 controller app I want to be sure it will not upgrade me to the S2 platform. From what I have read on the community these are two separate software versions so I don’t think that should happen but want to be sure so I don’t mess up my old legacy products that are still partially working, but can only run on S1. Any input & confirmation would be appreciated. 

Hello Sonos,I need assistance for setting my app back to the original. Customer Service has been unavailable to fix this. As suggested from your pop up message, I updated my app and the new remote screen is a nightmare. The screen I had before was more intuitive. Very easy and didn’t require so much patience. This one requires too much back and forth to find the speakers for the TV and to switch to Sonos Move for the music. It takes at least 10 times to get the “View System” button to appear and find the speakers and adjust the volume.Please switch my app and system back immediately. No more Sonos system updates for me. This one is ridiculous.

The new app doesn’t let me reinstall or connect to my music library on a QNAP drive.  I don’t understand where to find it.  Help!

I factory reset my sonos play:1, I connected it again, it seems connected but it doesn’t appear on my sonos app, what’s wrong?

Sonos 5 of 8 years not working after changing to a new router.so  purchased Move,so now its on 1 controller and older devices need to be on another controller ?why would someone on a nice pay packet enable this to proceed ?I have to end of week on deciding to keep or take back move, will then get rid of other Sonos products and go to a competitor This has become very mood changing experience    what's the solution ?

I have so many issues I hardly know where to begin. This is across multiple Android phones: Pixel, Oppo & Samsung. I subscribe to Amazon, Apple & YouTube Music. I have a Sonos Era 300 speaker pair.Amazon doesn't play anything at all, it's totally busted. Nothing works. Both Amazon and Apple won't launch any music started from search results. Only YouTube Music still works across the app. The app is super slow to respond, I'm waiting up to 15 seconds for a song to start! Before that was 2 or 3 seconds at most. Selecting songs to play from a playlist only ever starts the first song in the list, not the song I selected. Search results are a total mess, there's no organisation whatsoever. If I search for an album, I get a random bunch of songs and releases by that artist. I have to carefully scroll through up to 50-100 unlabelled releases - no distinction between albums and singles - to find what I'm looking for! Can't access album info from tracks and can't access EQ settings from

Local music library. If I click a track it play; if I hold click I only get an option to replace queue or save to favourites.I want to play next or add to favourites like I used to. WTF? jim

I have had my sonos s2 app updated on my android phone and tablet.  It now does not find my system.  The s1 app does, but I would need to downgrade the devices.  I am on the correct network. Any ideas?  My speakers are 10+ years old but not had problems before.  It works off my wife's apple device.

Following the most recent release of the SONOS app, I am now unable to run it on my mobile. However, initially the version for Wndows 10 functioned and allowed me to change the location of the Apple tunes database. However on reverting back to the original location, I have found that most of the Manage column is greyed out and there is absolutely no way of specifying any database address on my network.  The upshot is that I am now unable to run anything on what was originally a good  music setup.How can I make the greyed out part operate in the expected manner?

Just seen a new update for the Sonos app.  Updated my device, and seen that alarms are back on it!! now for all the other stuff they removed………

I cant edit the queue in the playlist im hearing  Theres no true play now in any of my products  Era 300 , 2 move 1 ,  2 roam.    

I cannot pin anything from Amazon music to the main screen of the app. For instance when you open amazon music you have options of playlist, albums, my music etc. I press to pin to the main screen which it states it has done, however, it goes in the wrong place, within Sonos favourites - even then when you click onto that screen to open it, nothing is there?Audible and BBC sounds let you pin to the main screen as the previous app didDoes anyone else have this issue or know if it’s coming back?

I am not able to connect my sonos products with the new app. I have play 1&3, playbase and move.not able to hear music anymore since I installed your iOS App version.please help me immediately

Hi, I just updated to the new app today and now all my Sonos playlists are missing?

For many years, we have enjoyed listening to local radio stations on Sonos via TuneIn.A few days ago, I clicked on one of those periodic links to update our Sonos app.  In doing so, I lost access to TuneIn via Sonos.Now, when I try to add TuneIn back to Sonos, TuneIn want to charge me $15.00 per month for its “premium” service.  Completely ridiculous.  I don’t want “premium” TuneIn service.  I am only interested in basic access to local radio stations.Is basic TuneIn still available, or is there another way to stream local radio through Sonos?

The new app crashes when I press the “remove stereo pair” button for a paired set of Five speakers.  Happens on iOS and iPadOS.

Regarding the ISO’s app update, Sonos has forgotten to include access to Sonos Playlists. Currently I have to use the Mac desktop application in order to play Sonos playlists, which I use often. No point of having the Sonos iphone app at all if I can’t access these playlists I have created. Please explain how to find Sonos Playlists if possible on the iOS app or please update to include this content on the app.regards, James

My Amazon won’t connect since new update

I have tried to ‘update ‘ my Roam. My phone, my tablet wont do the update and wont let me use the device. My pc won't do the update but it will at least allow me to use the Roam.Any help?

HelloAs the new version of the app was not working, I tried to install the sonos S1 controller instead. But it seems that it was not possible to do that. so that failed. Since then, the sonos app won’t open. It says that the speakers need to be updated but the update fails. I have tried to download again the sonos app and reboot my internet router. but nothing works… I have no idea what to do… Please help!!!Thank you for your helpDoes anyone know if my problem is because of the new update ? The TuneIn Radio Streaming does not appear to work with the latest release of SONOS for iOS. Has anyone been able to get a premimum TuneIn streaming service to work with the CRAZY premature release of SONOS iOS App..? The TuneIn Radio Streaming does not appear to work with the latest release of SONOS for iOS. As a product development engineer for 30+ years, I am well aware of the importance of a good UI User Interface. What SONOS had was a good user interface that was functional and logical and easy to navigate with a very minimum learn curve. The new App Provides a UI that is much less intuitive and is missing many features. As a SONOS supporter for over 20 years and hold significant SONOS shares of stock I have been fully behind the SONOS product up until this latest release. Come-On SONOS, at a minimum YOU have to provide a rollback until this new version is functional.  Sr. Management, please wake-up and listen to your customers, they determine if you succeed or fail.
