One feature from the last decade that I use a lot (maybe the only one?) is searching my local library for a song title. I really miss that one. Is it still in the app, just hidden? Or is it removed, never to come back? Or is it “coming back soon”?

Hi all,I am having trouble w/ my Play 1 speakers since some months. The problem existed before the major GUI Update which was released just recently and is still existing.I have a simple configuration w/ Playbase and 2x Play 1 in 3 different rooms. The Playbase is connected via Cable to the router and the Play 1 are connected to the Sonos Network (separate WiFi) as far as I remember. I attached the current Network Matrix. This configuration is quite old and worked well for years.Current Problem:At some point esp. the Play 1 “Küche” started to have big delays when using the Sonos App via Iphone and apparently also via the Android phone of my wife. So basic stuff like changing volume or Play / Pause often needs several seconds after hitting the button and sometimes does not work at all. The other Play 1 “Kinderzimmer” apparently works better, also has some delays aswell. The Playbase works w/o problems.Any idea on the origin of the problem? As mentioned I have this configuration for year

Adding device and forced to update device (Sonos One).  This update never finish and thus unable to add the device.  I Need help please.

Win10 Sonos App Won't Connect After Force Upgrade of Sonos (5/2024) Hello. I came home after being away for a week and the Win10 Sonos Controller ‘sees the system’ but won’t connect. Happily, I can still control the speakers w/ my phone (IOS). The help desk (after being in queue starting at #52! had be install a new version of the controller (done) and it has the same issue. BTW there was no prompt for updating. Just an unfriendly surprise. Now, the (L1) support is guessing, etc. Any help/ideas appreciate. Music and network are fine. But Win10 app doesn’t see the system. BTW, the system apparently had new firmware pushed to it (to the speakers) while I was away. From: is 78.1-51030 to: 79.0-52294  VPN off. Avast and McAfee (and everything else) had no updates during the last week.

Since the new update installed i cant group all Rooms and speakers like before. My Sonos Roam cant be connected with other Speakers. Always the note that a Connection is not possible and should try later. But i can Play music on the Roam without Problems (alone). the Rest of the system/speakers is possible to group but not with the Roam.  

I could use your help!Until a couple of weeks ago, my wife’s and my Android phones worked well with Sonos. Then Sonos “upgraded” to the new app and our phone can’t connect with our system. For 2 weeks, I’ve tried everything to get it working: uninstalled/reinstalled app, restarted phones, signed out/signed in again on Sonos, and individually added each speaker to the app on each phone through the app. I thought I solved my problem with the last attempt until I closed the app. Next day, the app found no components and I was back to nothing! I even has several contacts with Sonos customer support and got to a “Level 2” Customer Experience person who replied to my email, “...there is nothing else that can be done to use the S2 app on mobile devices.” Can you please help?Thanks in advance.

I’m sure Sonos considers this a “feature” of the “upgraded” app, but since I installed the new version, speakers begin playing by themselves, volume level are not where they were left, even sources are not the same as what I normally listen to. My Move speakers turned on unexpectedly at 2am this past week, which was rather interesting. On more than one occasion, speakers are playing, but looking at the app, the speakers are not selected, yet are still playing. The system is trash until they fix this, which sounds like it will be months.Having worked my career in software development and releasing new code to production environments, this is the absolute worst process I’ve ever seen. They had to have failed hundreds if not thousands of pre-production test scenarios and yet they released it anyway. A majority of those failures had to be critical to functionality failures. Whoever developed this, and whoever signed off on it should be fired. 

After updating Sonos app on Android phone, for Qobuz, Playlists do not show up in the app; also, Favorite → Artists do not show up in the app.On my MacOS app, those areas show up fine (I’m being asked to update that app too but I’m holding off). 

Who else has noticed the loss of the A-Z column on the right when browsing music library songs, albums, etc? I have thousands of songs stored on a Synology NAS and now the new app simply shows them alphabetically with no easy way to jump to any beginning with “N” for example? Finally where have our Playlists gone! All I can see are my Apple Music ones but not the ones I created from my music library   I am very disappointed with the new app and have complained to Patrick their CEO twice now      

Volume control doesn’t work on new app

I’ve seen on other posts that there are some alternatives or partial alternatives to the (now not working) Sonos controller app. Is there a list somewhere of what this/these are and where to get?

At last the alarm control is back … but it’s a bit hidden … how about - for those of us that have to change/access the alarm times regularly - being able to add quick access to the alarm settings on the Sonos app Home Page - if don’t want it. Turn it off; if use it loads, drag it to the top of the page … just a UI idea … 

The new app is awful, but is anyone else experiencing a 1-2 minute controller app load time when you open it up? Not spotted a response on this specific point.  .....also having to reset my router every half a day because there's an update that I can't access.... NAS has gone etc etc etc.  I've used Sonos for years but now seriously considering moving away as this is stupid.  Thanks 

Well, I uninstalled new upgrade from my pc went back to s2 which is working fine. My Android phone however is a different story.  Sitting in my house surrounded by 10 speakers and this is what I get...think I'm going to pass on your "most requested” product that's dropping on Tuesday. 

My album art in my library disappeared after update. How do I get it back?

Any work around or tips to allow Spotify to be added as a service on Sonos app please 

The recent update took away most of the features I used on sonos. No longer able to shuffle or put more than one album in the queue. Now the app can't find my system even after I Uninstaller and reinstalled it. What's up with this. Getting ready to find a new speaker.

I am no longer able to point Sonos to my music library - when will this get resolved or has Sonos decided it’s products will only support streamers?  No point in sending me information about new hardware if I can’t listen to music I liked enough to purchase - I have thousands of songs I can’t access with Sonos and numerous playlists derived from my music library that I can no longer play with the Sonos system .  Is anyone working to resolve this?
