A very basic question.I have all my music stored on my Mac in iTunes. I used to use the Search function in the old app to find albums and individual songs and play them through 2 x Sonos 1, a Sonos 3 (old school) and a Sonos Roam.Now, it looks like this option has been taken away from me in the new app.Why? Will this functionality be restored in alter app updates?

Hi there, Android user here.I borrowed an iPhone to calibrate my speakers, right after the new App was rolled out (first version of the new App).I am pretty sure I saw the “trueplay on/off” switch on my Android right after this.Today (I think there was one update to the new app), I do not see  the “trueplay on/off” switch anymore.What does that mean?Are my speakers not longer trueplay calibrated? Did I somehow lose this new calibration? Is just that “on/off” switch missing in the new update. Does trueplay not longer exist?The third topic I ask, because additionally I can not use the automatic Trueplay feature on my Sonos Move (v1) anymore. There is no way to turn the build in microfone on. Not with the app and not with touch control on the Move itself.

Sonos error message “unable to play “song” connection to plex was lost”. Plex on Sonos can move between music folders and tracks, but once a track is selected same error message occurs.This started happening mid February 2024. In the past this has happened every time there is a new release of Plex media server. To fix the problem I would log into Plex media server on my Synology NAS DSM18+ running V6.0 to find a message that an update to Plex was available. Same message now, and new version of Plex media was server released Feb 13, 2024. New 64 bit version for Synology 6.0 installed ( stop Plexmedia server from running, download and install correck .spk file, re-start Plex media server). Hi, I don’t want to moan, But I have just done a app update & wished I hadn’t bothered, Now my Sonos amp won’t connect to my network, I’ve done a factory reset on my amp, I can see all of my other Sonos appliances & when I try & connect my app again it ask me for the passcode on the bottom of the amp witch I have put applied, Know it is saying that amp is not registered  ?? 

The new app is missing the Classical category.Sirius > Music > Explore Genres & MoodsI also tried searching for “Symphony Hall” and “Sirius Pops” (two channels in the classical music category) and they are not found.Verified they are still active channels in the actual Sirius app.Using Mac version 16.2 build 79052294 and S2 build 80.00.04 iPhone controllers.

Hi All,The new app from release, through to version 80.00.08 hasn’t been able to run Trueplay completely.  If I disconnect my Era surround and run Trueplay against my Arc and Sub it works fine.  Add the era’s and it fails each time.Arc is wired, sub and era’s are wireless.  Everything worked fine before updating to the latest app.Error msg: Run Trueplay; rotate phone listen to noises; move to next stage, walking around the room; at the end of this stage the yellow circle spins, reaches the top and does nothing.  Only option is to cancel.Has anyone experienced something similar?To add: Phone is iOS 14 Pro max, running iOS 17.5.I reached out to Technical support team on 8th May who were brilliant at diagnosing the problem but did not have a resolution.

Bonjour, Depuis la nouvelle mise à jour j’ai des bug importants… impossible de reconnecter mes produits sonos. Si je connecte les produits « seul » ça marche mais dès que je veux connecter tous mes produits je n’arrive plus à les faire fonctionner. Même après réinitialisation d’usine, les éléments se connectent mais n’apparaissent plus au fur et à mesure que je connecte d’autres produits. J’ai tout essayé :déconnecter le compte  reinstaller l’application relancer le routeur Rien à faire, impossible d’utiliser tous mes produits ensemble.  j’ai en plus une perte de visibilité des produits sur mon Apple TV…  Est-ce que d’autres personnes ont le même souci ?

Hi I had the new update, after all trouble shooting step multiple times😱 and talking to the bottom who got me to delete the app and reinstall with the link they sent, it still does not work 🙃 really ping me off , So it will not find my speakers. The bot said that they can see I'm connected. I do not know what else to do . Yesterday It was playing via spotifiy but today I went to turn the volumes down and boom not working. Can anyone point me in the right direction. It is now also not picking up on Spotify,  I also did a clear cache my phone is samsung note 10+

I have my mp3 music library on a synology NAS and stream my music to SONOS. Always worked fine until the app update. After the update the embedded mp3 cover art is not shown. When will this be fixed?

My Sonos Move cannot play music stored in its music library any more, and can't add any folder with mp3 music files from my computer to the Sonos music library.  It is message showed: Reason - can't add shared folder "//DESKTOP-BMJT14E/Music" to your music library (913)

I just updated to the latest software and now I am unable to add songs from my Apple Music to the song queue.  I still have the older version on another device and can add songs to the queue all day long.  Anyone know how to get this done in the new version of the app?  Thanks!

Version 16.2Build: 79052294Windows 11 - Music library disappeared.  Can’t even add my music from a hard drive.  If it’s an app issue then Sonos should notify its customers that have invested thousands of dollars in their products.Please advise.

Sonos are now censoring posts on the topic of the headphone release stating that posts are off-topic.The comments so far are along the lines of “I will not buy these until the app is fixed”Nothing offensive (ie effing and jeffing) in the comments, yet they still are censoring feedback.Shame they do not spend as much time beta testing their app code as they do on censoring customers.  

In the old app if I had found a song via search, I could then directly tap for the album info / track listing to see the rest of the album it came from.I can’t find a way to do this in the new app, without starting a whole new search for artist etc.Am I missing something or has this been removed?

In the past - about 8 years ago - it was possible to manage the volume of your Sonos system by using the ‘plus’ and ‘minus’ buttons on your smartphone. Due tue an update of the Sonos app, it wasn’t possible anymore. From the 7th of may, Sonos released a new Sonos app, and I hoped Sonos reintroduced this function. Unfortunately still the only way tho manage the volume of the Sonos system is by swiping on your screen (to the left and right) of your smartphone. I hope, that Sonos in the future will consider to reintroduce the old school function by pressing the plus and minus buttons! 

Following the most recent Sonos controller update this week, i cannot find the alarm setting anymore. It is a little annoying as the programmed alarms continue to go on in the morning early even if i do not need them!!anyone found the alarm setting tab/ control??

Good day i have Play1 (5pic) + Play5 (gen2).Play5 (gen2) can play music via AirPlayI create a group Play5 (gen2) + Play1 (3 pic) and when i am trying to use all this group via Airplay ONLY Play5(gen2) is playing music!!!!Previously, there was no such problem at all, i am using Play5 (gen2) + Play1 (3 pic) as a group and music playing perfect!!!

Hello, With the new App i have mulptiple alarms for each day of the week. The problem, now is we cannot see the station with each alarm right away.  It is only indicated: LIVE STATION  instead of the name or the station’s logo. Can you do something, we should see it as first view and step.What is going on with this problem ??

Using the new Sonos app on my iPad, my Spotify album library does not appear.  Spotify playlist appears in library. All other functions of Spotify and Sonos work fine.  Just can’t see my spotify library albums.  This is only happening on my iPad.  Problem does not occur when using Sonos app on android phone.  Have removed and down fresh installs of both Sonos and Spotify on iPad.  Have disconnected and reconnected Spotify.  Have signed out and back into Sonos.  This one problem remains.  Suggestions?
