OMG the lag in the new verison. Please stop the lag. !

New update lags on button push for so long (pressing play for example), I loose my patience and press again assuming it didn’t register the first button push. Only to find that it plays and then responds to my second touch and pauses again immediately 😡 Same for volume, skip, and selecting songs, all lag roughly the same. 
Sometimes my button pushes take 2-3 seconds to happen. 
what happend to this amazing system ? It’s like we went back 15 years to the dawn of this tech.

I am experiencing similar issues - most common issues for me are:

  • Pressing stop on the app does not stop the music
  • Pressing next track does nothing
  • The Sonos app show the currently playing song as the one that was played over 2/3 songs or, or that I started my session with.

Due to this, most of the time I give up using the app and resort to using the physical button on my Play:1 to stop and skip tracks.

Completely unacceptable for a premium brand.
