My primary use of the Sonos system is to access my own music library. Access has always been erratic and now it refuses to see my library at all.
Is it the intention of Sonos to only service commercial streaming services or am I being too cynical?

My suspicion is you’re being too cynical. I’m still playing music from my ‘personal’ local library, although right now searching and modification of those lists seems off. But based on the information here, I’m expecting these features to return.
