Cannot unpair stereo on new app !! ( the faulty new one …. )  - no option to do it . ; I have preserved on my tablet the old app but cannot unpair - it says I have to upgrade to the new one to have this functionality … .. wich on the new app ( on my phone ) it does not exist …. 

Sonos logged me out recently, and I when I went to reset my password on my associated email - I noticed it wasn’t verified. So I resent the email but never received it. So I changed my email address, verified that email address, and logged in successfully.  But now Sonos does not recognize my account as the owner.  The same account number is associated with me new email address. Was hoping to not have to factory reset everything and start over! 

I Know I used to be able to play from my network server, NAS, even when the interent was down, as long as the NAS was connect to the router an interent connection was not required.  My internet when down this week *multiple times and I could access the APP and couldn’t play from my NAS.  Is that a new thing or is there something i need to debug? NOTE:  I had my soundbar connected to the TV toggle sound off and then switch to the Sonos ARC screen when I cycled router’s power.  Why would a line in signal, through HDMI, even be impacted by internet changes?? is this all a new APP issue or is this just Sonos not caring about what customers want anymore?

Not only does the new app not work, making my entire home system unusable, the customer care phone number has a wait time of an hour. Literally 60 minutes that I have to spend on hold waiting for someone to answer the phone.How does a company with this many resources completely f**k up every aspect of consumer support?! My system works maybe half of the time, even before the new app was made available to us. This company is a complete joke. Too bad I have thousands of dollars sunk into the system and don’t have the money available to get anything new.

Just installed a beam and era 300 system. I’m now trying to install music library from an iPod as a source. Also, I can’t find Amazon Music as an option when trying to add a music service.

Sonos launched this with all if the buzzwords that companies use for their New Apps. Intuitive, clean, easy to use, logical, etc.But what do the posts here and our own experience tell us.Well I for one have fallen into the “music starts in the wrong room” problem.Forgetting all of the missing stuff, the fact that so many of us are struggling to simply start music in the right room using a completed function raises the question I raised here.In my opinion the New App is no better than the Old One in terms of ease of use because until you know how it works it is no easy to use.

Well since the app is all screwed up anyway I thought Id take a chance and “update” it again with the newest batch of bug riddled code and guess what? It’s no better, in fact now I have “floating text” that scrolls down the Home Screen of the app. Nothing seems to be fixed. Speakers are still randomly selected. Even though I’ve de-selected speakers they return to be selected. Volume is way too slow to respond to input changes. My music database is still no where to be found. This is a disaster and Sonos is doing nothing to help the customers.

As if this new Sonos iOS app wasn’t bad enough, we have now lost control of our Sonos system it seems.First, I could not stop music from playing on any iPhone in the house. The play/pause icon would toggle on screen, but the music just carried on. The only way I could stop it was to use the Windows controller, where play/pause would also not work, but deleting the music from the queue worked.But now I can’t get anything to play. The selected song is moved to the queue and the icons suggest it is playing, but it is not.So the whole system is now non-functional. Any suggestions welcome...

With the new Sonos app, it is no longer possible to listen to music properly. The app takes two minutes to start up, it doesn't show any playlists, no favorites, doesn't connect properly, only responds after 10 seconds, it's really horrible. Shouldn't we consider a class action lawsuit against the company's headquarters in California?

When I start new Sonos app I get a message that it cannot connect with Network. After trying 3 times suddenly I have connection.This never happend for years with the old Sonos app.Somebody an idea what is wrong?

I won’t bother re-hashing all of the issues that have already been addressed in all of these various threads. My only question is, can we rollback to the old app while we wait on whatever unforeseen update(s) to come along and fix the myriad of problems with the new app?The new app is kind of unusable. lol, its like sonos wanted to test the patience of its user base by taking away a bunch of functions while claiming everything would remain, but be better. 😅😅

Trouble with the new app and Apple Playlist. Example: I have a Taylor Swift Essentials playlist from the pre-updated Sonos app. Used to have no problem listening to it. Now, I can see all the songs in the playlist listed, but when I hit “play,” it will only play a mix of songs that aren’t even on the playlist. It’s similar to what you’d expect from Pandora when you select a station and you get songs similar to an artist that the playlist is named. I want to listen to only the artist’s playlist when I go to my Apple Music app.  I can’t figure out how to work around this? Is it even possible to do so?  This app is trash.

Hello,     as everyone did allowed the app to update on my phone,  no advanced usage just turn on music to play.  I see all my play lists, for some reason it always defaults to my bedroom where early in the morning on the weekends when i try to get things done is not where i want to play music.  Then i press the button to play.. NOTHING… have to go to the computer app to get anything to play to my sonos system..   This was a simple app through the past updates any advise??
