I have been over seas for the past few weeks. When I came back I was no longer able to access my Music Library. Has anyone else have this problem? What’s going on?

I can connect to a network hard drive as I always have been able to, but now with the new app when I select a track to play nothing happens.

Please just tell me when the new updated Sonos will be able to play my extensive iTunes library; the whole reason I invested in Sonia in the first place!!

Since the ‘new app’ was released, I’ve been unable to reindex my music library - option no longer there.   There have been at least 2 updates of this new app, and still it’s not back.  C’mon Sonos. You are supposed to be cutting edge.   

Hi all,I just downloaded the Sonos App on my Android phone yesterday so as to be able to use two Sonos/IKEA,Symfonisk bookshelf speakers I got recently. Unfortunately, while the app does detect the speaker I've turned on, it always crashes while on this screen: What to do? I have no other Sonos devices. 

Hi,After upgrading to the latest app (android), I can't see whether trueplay is enabled or not. Before there was an option to turn trueplay on or off, can't find that anymore? From what I can see it might look trueplay settings were turned off after the update. For the info, I do not have an Iphone, so I can't just recalibrate. Best regardsTommy

Next time your company decides to make a “brave” decision about changing your app, I’d suggest making sure it works prior to rollout. It is so annoying that getting music to play on a certain speaker is basically a frustrating game of cat and mouse.  Trying to trick the app into not playing on the default speaker is beyond frustrating.  A premium speaker system with a crap app basically becomes a crap speaker system.  Do better. 

I want to downgrade Sonos product to S1 when will this be possible? unfortunately has updated to the new app

Though the new update is pretty and colorful, it is very clunky and not very intuitive.  I used to go into apple music and choose an album from a musical groups whole catalogue.  Since the update, I am limited in my album choices. Sonos favorites has a list of things I have never listened to.Quit advertising to me. on the app, please.My Playlist, Artists, Albums all have items I have never listened to and would never ever listen to.  Whats up with that?I called Santa Barbara at 8:30 AM Pacific time to speak with someone.   Called yesterday in the afternoon too….same response.  60 minute wait..Some customer service.Did you guys consider running a Beta test on this update before you thrust it on your customers?  Maybe ask the sonos community to look at it and offer feedback?Is the old interface available?  I want to delete this new one and go back to the old app. Robert

I hadn’t been able to connect to my system with the iOS app except randomly (Mac controller was working) since the new app came out. After several failed “help” calls, the rep today confirmed that:they broke the boost with new app their engineers are working on it the solution will come out…in the futureThe temporary workaround:Disconnect the boost from the router Unplug it from the power supply (yes, even though it’s not connected) Make a direct Ethernet connection to one of your speakers from the router (this might be painful depending on your setup)…I used my sound bar Power off all your speakers aside from the one in (3) for ten seconds Then power them back on  Hopefully your system is available in the app controller after they bootA little disappointed I didn’t try removing the boost on my own, but in my defense, my system had never worked without i

You used to be able to select multiple groups of speakers - for example, Upstairs and Downstairs, to play to all of the speakers in those groups. Now, it doesn't seem to allow for multi-select; you can only pick one.Is anyone else seeing this behavior with the iOS Sonos app? Trying to pin down if it's a bug with my system or a change to the app's behavior.I created a new group as a workaround, but that's not nearly as flexible as the old system.

Just bought a Synology BeeStation and tried to connect Sonos to it but I keep getting the error “Unable to add the music share //192.1.168.1.112/Music”.  Tried on my Mac and my iPad but get the same error. My Sonos devices are using the S2 OS as are my Mac/iPad applications. I have been using a Synology DS214se for many years and Sonos connects to it no problem. I contacted Synology support but they seem to think it is down to my Mac/iPad using smb1 instead of smb2 or smb3. They suggest I disable smb1 on my devices but that seems rather drastic.Anyone else managed to get Sonos talking to a BeeStation?    

I returned my move 2 bought last month waiting for new app to fix problem will not connect.   Saw new app and bought move 2 again and got to install and work once and now not system is setup and tried everything -resetting app, reinstalling (now on 10th time) and it does not connect. What in the world is going on.   Bets buy gives you 15 days.  Do I return this again?  Waiting online 1 hour for help.   This is insane.  No one is answering the forum.   I have had Sonos for years with no problems.  No with new Sonos is app no way can get it to work.  I have spent so much time and tried every “fix” online by others.  What is the resolution?    Will return again if no one answers this

Many users report that their Music Library has disappeared.  The reason for this (in most cases) is probably due to the so-called SMBV1 file sharing protocol being removed.  Many older systems use this protocol. File sharing is now via SMBV2/3Many older systems cannot be updated to use the new protocols.  Users will need to purchase new file sharing devices.The reason for this change is based on security concerns where the smbv1 is regarded as a security risk.  This is true in so far as a system has already been breached via another external route (there have been no recorded instances of a SMBv1 impacting Sonos systems in the last decade). Essentially, the change which has affected so many is another ill-founded and poorly implemented characteristic of the S2 wonder update. Never mind, you can now listen alone to your Arc soundbar by purchasing the new $500 headphones.  It's not all bad! 

I can’t see the volume number directly anymore when I adjust it. I have to click on another icon in order to see it. Is there a way to see the numbersagain? 

After upgrading to the new Sonos app, the app cannot find my Sonos Beam (Gen1).  Sonos Beam is connected to my Sony Bravia TV.  TV sound is coming through Sonos Beam, but no music from my Sonos app.  Sonos products are connected to my WiFi network.  Sonos One and Sonos Roam products are recognized and working on my Wi-Fi network.  I’m only having a problem with Sonos Beam not showing up.  Also, when I select the Sonos app on my Samsung Android phone, I get a message “No products found” for a second and then my system apps show up which works, but is very annoying.  I’m wondering  if I should just reset all products and start from scratch.

I personally believe Sonos will never offer app fixes for those of us who spent thousands of dollars over the last 5-6 years and use speakers older than the Roam, Era and Move speakers currently for sale. It appears that Sonos’ only interest lies in supporting their new headphones, as well as current and future speakers. We are screwed…. 

My son has a Sonos system that uses the Sonos 2 App. I have a Sonos 1 system. The two systems are registered on the same network. My Sonos s1 app constantly wants me to upgrade to the s2 app and blocks me from using my s1 system. I know its is because the s1 app discovers my sons speakers/soundbars and wants me to change. Problem is, I don't want to change and the app doesn't allow me to use my s1 system. What to do? Do I really have to establish two networks to sepate the two Sonos systems such that my S1 app does not discover the other system?

Amazon Music Unlimited works perfectly from my desktop. When I try to start it from my IOS app on the phone or iPad it does not work. It just doesn’t play at first, then gives an error message that “Something went wrong” then may play a song ;after in the playlist then stop again. Not a network issue as it works perfectly from my desktop. Is tyhs a problem with the new app or is there a fix. I can go from the prime app to Sonos speakers but would like to work it from Sonos app. I also have Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify an QuBuz and all work correctly. Is this an IOS app problem or is there a workaround?

I use multiple sources for my music and none of them work to show what I just listened to in my Recently Played list which I used extensively prior to app update. Anyone else having this issue and if so how do you fix it?

as a custom installer having multiple systems installed in various locations-forcing me and my clients into updating to the new app, which has so many flaws by the way, is rediculous!amongst many other issues..where is the downgrade to S1 app? not there! as im now forced to use legacy products to older ios products.also not auto linking to multiple systems!also ability to link to NAS drives (music library) for systems unable to reach thr internet!ive already had so many client call me as they now cannot reach their sonos systems! what a mess!  

Did Sonos make a huge mistake?? Looks like they did. Selling my stock as well. What an epic mistake…. The customer can no longer simply add a song to the queue. Wtf.
