My Sonos system is not letting me listen to any songs via Napster. The Sonos system is working fine via Sonos Radio but failing to bring any songs through via Napster. I tried the Napster App and is working fine as its own entity. Disconnected from Sonos and reinstated but no luck. I then tried to connect Apple Music but wouldn’t connect to sonos. Can you point me in the right direction of sorting this? When browsing Napster via Sonos all menus are empty .

(running Android IOS) since updating my old sonos system (June 25/2024)to the new version on the app, its constantly asking for a software update. I click on it and the app states that its all “ up to date” then reverts back to the screen asking for a software update. I can not get into the app its a constant cycle that wont go away! i have deleted the app , forced it to stop then restarted the app, I have tried up plugging everything even the router to no avail. this is very frustrating, I even forced closed the update from the app store and its still the same! no one at Sonos help has any answers I figured I would put it out here.   I was so happy using my S1 app it worked fine before i was forced to update it all….now this BS, I am ready to start looking at other stereo products does anyone have an answer to this or had similar issues?

I’m getting this error when trying to access anything from Amazon Music. I’ve authorised the account fine, and it lists everything from Amazon fine - playlists, stations, songs, etc, but as soon as I try to play something I get this error. My Sonos account was originally created when I lived in the UK, but I live back in Australia now. My Amazon account is .com.au, not .co.uk. I’ve never tried to connect Sonos to Amazon.co.uk before.   

I don’t see a way to save a playlist, clear a queue or delete songs from a playlist on the new app

Is anyone else experiencing this issue since the AWFUL new app was rolled out?  Neither deleting app cache/data, reconnecting to service, nor updating to v. 80.03.03 helpedI do happen to have 947 titles in Favourites if that's relevant - all downloaded locally.Any advice or assistance appreciated!

Alarms have suddendly stopped working about a week ago. Cancelled and set-up new alarms, turned off/on components, logged out/in of App, tried on different components, tried chime and radio stations - Nothing works! Thanks for help.

I recently faced a frustrating issue with my Sonos system. I had to reset my router, speakers, and start all over. Now, after I select my speakers and add them to the setup, when I click "APPLY," my sound is gone. Can anyone explain why? I regret updating the app; this is a nightmare and is making me reconsider ever buying Sonos products again.This experience reminds me of a recent installation we did at work with an touchscreen monitor industrial. The setup was seamless and user-friendly, which is in stark contrast to my current Sonos ordeal. Hello Everyone,Thank you in advance for the help.I have a Sonos AMP that powers my two rear ceiling speakers in my 5.1 setup. Recently, I noticed in the Sonos App that the SONOS Amp shows a label that simply states, “Left Surround”. I don’t know what this means, but I assume that the app only believes I have a  just a left surround speaker connected to the Amp. In the settings, I can control Surround Height for Left and Right so it seems the Amp sees both speakers in the sound settings.Both my left and right surround speaker are working perfectly with my Arc and Sub.  Is this an AMP issue or a display bug in the new Sonos app?     

From 4 to 2 stars. The new version is just not complete. A lot of functions is no longer available, 50% of the times it won't turn up or down for a group volume, but just one room. Very slow to connect other rooms, and extremely slow to change songs. Slow to connect to other rooms, and I could go on with mistakes.  All in all it is a downgrade rather than a update. Why would sonos be this clumsy and release this app? 

Changed my tidal subscription.  Removed tidal from the Sonos app.  Cannot re add it.  It takes me to a tidal sign on page, all looks good and when I log on there it gives a message indicating tidal is set up for use on the Sonos app.  But error message back on the Sonos app says “Tidal wasn't added, something went wrong, please try again.  Frustrating.  Tried on my iPad and also on my phone.  Same thing. 

Hi - long time sonos & synology owner but first time poster. I have a Play 5 gen 1 and a Synology 918+ which until yesterday was running dsm 7.1. I’d previously had issues with upgrading DSM and my Sonos no longer being able to connect to my music library about a year ago, which i fixed by downgrading my SMB Service to a previous version as per this post: SMB Synology DSM 7.2 | Sonos Community However I’ve upgraded to DSM 7.2 today assuming that I would be able to do the same but it seems the minimum version supported is now 4.15.x and it wont let me install 4.10.x which worked with DSM 7.1. So i’m now at a bit of a loss. Has anyone got this working or any advice of things to try please?

Qobuz has indicated they are progressing on Qobuz connect.They said they don't yet have a release date, as that depends on external factors such as the integration of each manufacturer, but the project is moving forward.It sounds like Sonos and Qobuz must work together to make this happen quickly. Qobuz is encouraging Sonos users to contact Sonos and ask that Sonos work with Qobuz to develop Qobuz Connect for Sonos together.

I downloaded the updated Sonos contoller App on only one iphone. The new app does not operate fully on some subscribed music sources. Another iphone and laptop computer in my household still has the functioning old Sonos app controller. Is there any way that the old Sonos contoller can be transferred and downloaded to the iphone containing the updated version?

Since switching my Sonos One to a new wifi network and having to do a factory reset to set it back up my alarms have gone crazy.  It does not play the alarms I set over the speaker (although it looks like the music is playing based on app notifications) and it is setting i off alarms (using my selected favorites at least) at times I have never had set - - 7 am everyday, other random times during the day but consistent. I’ve tried deleting all alarms and resetting them, looked at all the app settings.  It’s not as if it’s holding a memory of old alarms and the time zone is correct. I use google voice assistant and spotify and sonia radio.  Help!  I’m at a loss. 

Radio Swiss Classic has stopped working completely on my Sonos system. I contacted the station but they said they have not changed any settings or servers. I tried adding the URL manually into TuneIn and saved it as a favourite but it still does not show up on my Sonos system.The original saved favourites from Radio Swiss are still there but do not play at all.Please could you help me solve this issue. I am using the new updated Sonos app with my system plus I also use the desktop version on my Mac.thank you and I look forward to your reply,Chris 

When attempting to adjust volume to my sound system (e.g. - beam, sub, 2 play:1), I noticed my Sonos app doesn’t recognize by devices.Everything should be on same network but app doesn’t let me confirm. this happened to anyone and what did you do?

Roll it back please.  It sux.  Horrible. Painful to just select and play music now.   Why Sonos, why?

On my Sonos app (both iPhone & iPad) when I search for an artist most all of their albums & singles show up. But there’s also some singles and compilations missing towards the end. Unlike when I open and search on Spotify app, all albums, singles and compilations are listed. The only way I can play those missing albums is thru airplay. 

It is the worst app, ever!! It is extremely slow to respond (if it responds at all) and always has connection issues! i started thinking it must be my wifi but it’s most definitely not because every other app and service works perfectly well.  I’ve now resorted to just using my Spotify app which is amazing as always and doesn’t seem to ever be bogged with these issues!So disappointing Sonos! We didn’t need a new looking app but just a better working app!! 

I set up my Era 300 speaker yesterday, testing it with Apple music. Both lossless and Atmos sound worked fine. Today, the speaker doesn't play Atmos at all.If I select in IPhone music settings “Atmos automatic", I get Atmos sound with my AirPods Pro (audible and shown in the Apple music app). When switching to Era300, the Apple music switches automatically to lossless. If I select “atmos always on” in the iphone music settings, I get again Atmos sound with my AirPods Pro but even the lossless sign disappears from the Apple music app. Thus, Era300 is playing only normal voice quality, not even lossless. It is of course noticeable in the Era300 sound quality that it doesn't play Atmos.  I haven't found any way to get Atmos working with Era300 even though it worked well yesterday. Reboots and any changes in settings doesn't help. As Atmos is a major value point of Era300, and Apple music one of the major services for Atmos music, I will return the product unless I get thi

I cannot any longer listen to Cadena SER, the most listened radio station in Spain, via the Sonos app. Tis happened straight after the update. I have searched the station again and it does exist but when I try to play it it does not launch/sound. Tune in also has an error. This is very frustrating because this is the main use we give to the Sonos app. 

why can I no longer add to my albums and my playlists. Saving only to favourites is hopeless- no grouping to music genres, individual artists. if it ain’t broke…

I am running separate sonos and sonos s1 systems.My s1 system on has my sonos connect using hibfi separates. This has been working fine until recently. I opened my s1 app and could not connect. After following troubleshooting guided I did a factory reset on the connect. Now I cannot do anything. The connect just has a flashing mute button, and the s1 app just keeps trying to connect to my new system.What can I do?

I used to be the biggest and most enthusiastic supporter of Sonos, and now I want to rip everything out of my walls. If they even had a single competitor that did Wi-Fi whole house music, I'd be putting everything on eBay and starting over. The new app update that came out recently makes almost every feature difficult. I constantly get the error message "something went wrong" when looking for libraries, playlists, or really anything. I have reinstalled the app twice. I have removed and reinstalled every service within sonos. I have used two different devices, one apple and one Android. My Plex server sometimes shows up, sometimes says that there's no data in it, and sometimes just gives me an error message. My network attached storage pretends it's not there 90% of the time. The five devices I have on my network sometimes just decide they're not going to be there anymore and I have to reset them. The UI has become cumbersome, and where I had everything at my fingertips

Lean is a terrible approach hopefully you’re not using it with your devs - it’s the only reason I can possibly accept that could result in the mutant crap you released as an update to your app….what a disaster. Fix up chums!
