Hi everyone,Just started a trial with tidal and when i play a dolby atmos playlist on era 300’s through sonos app, i cant seem to be getting the atmos logo which means it’s not playong dolby atmos ?  any thoughts ?  

Hi all, since the most recent updates, I can finally browse my NAS music library folders again on the iOS app, and play all songs in a (sub)folder, just like I could in the old app and still can do in the macOS app.In that macOS app, I can also still add any library (sub)folder to my favorites, such that I quickly navigate to, well, my favorite (sub)folders. The iOS app doesn’t support this, however. What’s more, when I add a folder to the favorites in the macOS app, it shows up under my favorites in the iOS app, but it is not accessible from the home screen, with the message “No longer available. Press Edit Home to delete.” Is this planned to be fixed in a coming update? I sure hope it does, as this is the prime way for me to select music to play. Thanks, Bjorn 

Hi, I have w problem with logging in to Sonos app. I enter the login and password, I seem to log in and when I enter the app I am stil not logged in. I re-uploaded the app and nothing helped 

After a dozen calls to the Sonos help desk the Sonos app won’t update any changes that I make in iTunes. I have made changes to the firewall, checked and rechecked the music folder settings, and other checks and changes that are to numerous to mention here. The Sonos Help Desk has been anything but helpful. I’m open to any suggestions.I’m using a HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 11 Home version 23H2Sonos App: Sonos OS: S2 Version: 16.3.1 (build 80155240) Hardware Version: 1.8.2.5-1.0 Series ID: A100

Well the CEO posted this, I believe before July:July and August:Improving the stability when adding new products Implementing Music Library configuration, browse, search, and playI still have not seen an update that fixes the Music Library omission and today is September 9th. I have found a work around with an Android music app that I can connect to TV/ARC that is hardwired. However, it is not ideal and SONOS loses the connection when my phone goes into sleep mode. Also, in order to connect the other speakers in the house (all WiFI connections), I have to go to the TV speakers, add the speakers I want to listen to and turn off the volume to the ARC connected speakers.It sure would be nice to get an update from SONOS staff as to when or when not to expect an update. Thanks Sonos! I just did the update today and now my IPHONe app no longer works.  My music library is now inoperable again.  This is absolutely not acceptable.  When is this crap going to be fixed? Sonos OS: S2Version: 16.3.3 (build 80156190)Hardware Version: 1.12.1.2-1.1

Have a NetApp, trying to leverage it for NAS, I have disabled SMB1 and enabled SMB2/3 and I know that the username and password I am using is correct as I can connect from several machines to the share.These are the settings of the NAS server, I am not sure why sonos does not work, the audit log on the NetApp states authentication issue, but I know the credentials are correct.                     SMB1 Enabled: false                  Max Buffer Size for SMB1 Message: 65535                                      SMB2 Enabled: true                                      SMB3 Enabled: true                                    SMB3.1 Enabled: true 

I love my Sonos when it works, but it’s been a constant headache… The latest is that after listening at home, all of the content on the app is grayed out - playlists, artists, recently played. I can see it all, but can not select anything. Services do not show at all. I tried to add Apple Music back, but just get an error “something went wrong. Please try again.” I’ve reloaded the app, reset the app, logged out an in… Nothing. The only thing I can do is start or stop the music already played or last played.  I will add that I use the app for two systems, one at home (i am owner) and one at work, which I am not the owner. When I switch between the two I find the system on the current network and join it - this seems to be when this issue crops up. 

Why ‘Deutschlandfunk’ does NOT work anymore?Hi Sonos team. Hi Sonos community - I try to stream the radio channel ‘ Deutschlandfunk’. It was always available through the Sonos radio service. But lately I only can connect to Deutschlandfunk Nova or Deutschlandfunk Kultur (Green annd orange label) unfortunately not Deutschlandfunk (the blue label) anymore. Can you/ anybody help me please on this topic? Can you fix it, Sonos? 

Hi all, since the app update I can’t login. App continually says login to update system. Nothing has changed apart from the app. Constantly says something went wrong. Emailed the ceo and support on numerous occasions with no reply. I’ve rolled all the recommendations and it still doesn’t work. Anyone got any other ideas apart from selling ang buying Bose,

My Sonos app is not loading today, crashing instantly, any ideas?

I have just returned to our home in UK where we have Play5. Have other Sonos products in our main house in Australia. Cannot get Play5 to work, cannot even get “Accept”  button to work, it is “greyed out”. 

I’ve mostly made my peace now with the new app, and I like a lot of it.  That said, my main issue remaining is the lack of responsiveness on the main volume slider when on the main app page (ie. single slider at bottom).  I don’t have huge hands, so it’s not like I’m a giant trying to use it … but even so, it’s the only slider of any app I can think of that I can never get to move immediately, without finding that exact sweet spot.  Feel like an easy fix would be a slightly wider (ie. height) sizing, so it is easy to grab and move.Cheers!

I’m trying to play podcasts from spotify in the Sonos app and all I get is access denied, I can play music without issues but when I try to play podcasts I get the error “Unable to play <podcast episode name> - access is denied.” and if I create a playlist in Spotify with podcasts and view it in the Sonos app all of the podcasts are greyed out  and I can’t play any of them.I tried to remove the spotify connection in the app and then add it again after a while without luck.Music and everything else works great and have no issues, this problems only exists with podcasts and Spotify, I’ve tried with the Sonos app on Android and iOS and the problem exists on both platforms.I’ve sent diagnostics to you: 684919168

Hello,Has anyone figured out how to keep Shuffle mode turned on when replacing the queue with a different playlist?  Every time I use the replace queue feature to listen to a different playlist, the Shuffle mode turns off.  I would prefer if this would be persistent so that I don’t have to constantly turn it back on when I want to listen to a different playlist.Please let me know.

When I first bought Sonos devices a decade ago they worked seamlessly.I have a very standard BT Mesh on Sky broadband.Now, Sonos never works. It takes between one and three minutes for all speakers to playback, and some do not at all. Then they randomly drop out.If I try and control them from the app, nothing happens for several minutes.You are, quite literally, a joke and a failure.

Hi,I have a NAS that I set up as part of the main reason I purchased a Sonos system - mixing local files with streaming files on playlists. All was great. Now that the newest firmware disabled the old app on my Android (a different topic), every time I play a track from my local library it crashes the app. The songs play on the speaker but the app crashes and will no longer open whilst those songs are in the speaker queue (again, another topic).I read a way around this was to set up a Plex media server. So I have spent all day (literally) doing this.Now when I play media through the Plex service on Sonos it plays. But Plex web is showing the transcode from FLAC to 271kbps. My question is: how to do I force Plex to NOT transcode my FLAC files (or is it even possible)? I can't see a setting on the Plex site. Transcode setting is "Make my CPU hurt"

On my two five gen 2 (plus sub, it sometimes work and sometimes not. Same goes for loudness, when change, there i no change in sound. The only part working in EQ are balance.thanks

Today I successfully updated to the latest 16.3 Firmware and Windows Desktop Controller.I subsequently performed an “Update Music Library Now” from the 16.3 Windows Desktop Controller.Now when I select “Imported Playlists” using any Sonos Controller (including SonoPhone, SonoPad) the app either displays “Something went wrong. Try again” or if it does display the playlists then it displays “Something went wrong. Try again” when I select a playlist. Trying again doesn’t resolve the issue.Anyone else having this issue?Ross.

I was recently traveling and when I returned home, I have had major issues with my system.  I have multiple different Sonos speakers and every time I play music, the song cuts out before it ends.  I can’t even get through one song.  I have tried just playing one speaker but nothing has helped.  Don’t believe it is a Wi-Fi issue, since I have had no other issues with any other device in the house.    

I have legacy units at my home - four Play5s, two Connect Amps, and two Connects. They all sound good and find no reason to replace them.  And yes, I obviously use the S1 app.For over a year now, only my two Connects are able to play music from my library. I use a Synology NAS. The only way my other units get to play music from my library is when I group them with any Connect. Otherwise attempting to play my library directly through the Play5s or Amp would only show that access to the NAS is denied even though I've made sure SMB 1 to 3 are enabled in my NAS. Can anyone tell me why library access is allowed only for the Connect units? Have I missed checking anything else here? By the way, there is no problem with streaming any music service. But I built my system for my vast music collection.

In another unsolicited move to add a splendid new feature, Sonos - in in his incomprehensible wisdom -has given us the web app (a couple of month ago it seems). But: I don’t want it and consider it a security and privacy downside. Soooo, how to disable?

Updated Sonos to the new app, I see the music library but there doesn't seem to be a way to update the library. 

Every morning I have to Force Stop the Sonos mobile app in order to get it to connect to any of my Sonos services. It is always connected to my WiFi (v strong & reliable). Normally, the screen just says 'unable to connect'.
