No - ever since the first rollout of the new software

I’ve heard there remain thumbnail issues, although the breakthrough of music library access has been achieved.

Maybe thumbnails will come next time??

I have the same issue,  I have two systems.  One legacy S1 system and one S2 system.  They share the same local library (hosted on a Synology NAS).  My album artwork status is:

  • Album Artwork displays properly:
    • S1 iOS App
    • S1 Windows desktop app
    • S2 Windows desktop app (which I think is deprecated)
  • No Album Artwork
    • S2 iOS App
    • New Web App for S2 System

The most interesting result is that the old S2 Windows app is able to display the album artwork correctly,  It does however have the “album compilation” issue.

If your iOS app is no longer displaying album art or track listings for your local music library, it could be due to a software glitch, corrupted metadata, or an issue with syncing. Try restarting your device, ensuring your music library is properly synced, and checking for any available updates for the app or iOS. If the problem persists, rebuilding the music library or re-importing the files might help resolve the issue.

OK. I did the following:

  • Verified I had the latest iOS and new iOS Sonos (S2) app already installed.
  • Deleted the new iOS Sonos (S2) app
  • Rebooted my iOS device
  • Reinstalled the new iOS Sonos (S2) app

And now I have album art in the iOS app.  Not sure if the reboot was required.
