Since upgrading to iOS14, the Sonos app search functionality doesn’t work with Spotify on either my iPhone or ipad. Anyone else having issues?

No, not the usual problem hopefully.On my Iphone I can go to YouTube and listen to an audio/video direct to Sonos via the icon that appears on the actual video screen’If I do exactly the same thing on my PC  the icon does not appear.I’m running latest Windows edition.Does anyone know why please?

I was a big fan of Santos originally; I had eight of the play fives in my house along with a few beams. But I tried to add some more speakers, and was forced to migrate to the Sonos 2 platform which seems flat out terrible. It only seems to work about 20% of the time, and keeps asking me to add things that I’ve already added. Is that other folks experience? Any tricks to make the thing salvageable? I certainly would never advise anyone to buy that house now; to the contrary I would tell them to look for a better option, but I’m stuck now

How do I manage my Sonos playlists which feature Google Play Music songs, which will soon no longer be available, and migrate them to YouTube Music?Is there a simple solution? Or do I need to go song by song?Any advice will be welcome.Thanks: Mitchell

I quite like the idea of the Brennan b2Act as NAS to Sonos 5 It has wifi I can rip CD’s at my convenience. Using a computer to do the ripping is less than ideal My computers do not have inbuilt CD reader CD collection downstairs, main computer upstairs  What I do not like about the Brennan b2 is that is uses a Raspberry Pi and therefore has its operating system on an SD card. Have had a lot of problems with SD cards corrupted with power outages of which we get a lot.So is there a better alternative?Needs to haveWifi Work with Sonos 5 i.e. NAS Ideally also output to a Speakercraft cs3 either by bluetooth Output via optical

My app states that the date and time is not set. I have been to settings and turned on set time from internet but it turns off again. I am unable to access alarms as it states date and time not set.  This problem seems to have resolved itself. It would appear that we had a power cut which might have caused the issue. 

Hello - I own a Sonos Play:1 (bought June 2019( and a Sonos ONE (Gen2) (new) and a LG HDTV - one of the inputs on the TV is DLNA and both Sonos speakers show up; however, I cannot establish a connection or interaction - are these speakers compatible w/ DLNA? Thanks. Dave

I have 3 x CR100 controllers. I note they are no longer supported by Sonos. What do I do with them? Will Sonos take them back to recycle them?

My primarily way to play music on my Sonos system & speakers is using airplay.  I have 9 different rooms setup..  is there a way to play all or create a button to play all rooms with out having to select each room individually. 

Hello,I’m not clear on the correct answer to this - I’ve searched the forum quite a bit.I am not ready to buy a NAS just yet.  Can I use a “dumb hard drive” that connects via ethernet cable to my wireless router, and will my Sonos ecosystem see that as my music library?  Any downsides?  If this does work, then what are the advantages of a NAS that I’d be missing out on?  Thanks in advance -

I bought into Sonos because it provided hassle free music throughout my house.  Over the years the term, "hassle free" has gotten less and less accurate due to the app "upgrades".  Today I attempted to address my issues with the app and found the support address listed on the Google play app page is no longer functional.  So I waited until 10am when I could use chat (who provides only 1 way to contact them and have it not be 24/7?) Where I got a very unhelpful associate.  He was probably good at trouble shooting system issues but that wasn't what I was looking for, it was just the only way I find to contact Sonos. And to cap it all off, the chat app stopped working after just a few minutes of chatting.

Having previously updated to the new Sonos app. - all devices were fine but now new iPhone update means the system is only now recognising the Beam and not the Play 3 and 1s

Will the SYMFONISK remote work with the Arc speaker?

Hi,TLDR; FR: double click group speaker volume to equalize the volumes of all speakers in current group.Super simple feature, after clicking on the volume of my group, it shows the volume bars of all speakers in that group.I often find myself trying to equalize the volume of the separate speakers by hand.When it it showing all volumes of speakers in that group, I would like to be able to double click the volume of the speaker group to automatically equalize the volumes of all speakers in the group to an average (OR the lowest volume of any of the grouped speakers).Thanks in advance for your consideration. 

The UI only displays the track title when viewing an album.For a various artist album the App does not show the artist in the track listing of an album.Can Sonos App display the artist per track ?

I am still trying to find a remedy for the lost ability to have Sonos read off iTunes/Apple Music on my iPad.  I have songs and playlists on iTunes/Apple Music that I can no longer play on Sonos because (a) Sonos reads only off of Music files on my computer (a MacBook Pro) and (b) Apple tells me I cannot sync iTunes/Apple Music to the Music files on my computer.  Has anyone figured out how to solve thsi problem?

I’m new to the Sonos world.  I have many ”lossless”  FLAC files(from CDs) on an external USB hard drive.  Is there a way for me to connect this directly with the Port to play these music files?  I don’t have an NAS, and would like to avoid using a computer in this chain if at all possible.  Right now, I plug this USB drive into the Blu Ray player and access the drive through the Blu-Ray menu.  

I have recently been unable to add/play an artist's top tracks list.  I have always been able to play or shuffle play the top tracks just like an album.  What happened?  Was this an intentional change in a recent update? Thanks!

I have read all the posts on having to shut off the bluetooth capability on the Sony side for the remote.  Yes, it gets my x900h remote to control the Playbar, but shuts off my ability to control my Spectrum cable box.   Advice welcome.  Not sure why that happens as the Spectrum box is a IR device as well.   Help :-)

Hi, I’d like to stream my songs directly from the Amazon Music app (the Android one) instead of from the Sonos app without losing the lossless capability that the Sonos and Amazon Music HD integration has on the Sonos app. According to this web page (https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3549?utm_source=owners_newairplay2_128803615&utm_medium=email&utm_content=cta-t2-learnhow_FR&utm_campaign=engagement_control2_178622_1623952&language=fr&et_rid=486898252) it’s written (in French) that we should be able to select our Sonos device from the Amazon Music app but I can’t see it on my Android phone (OnePlus 5T). Thanks,Alexandre

After the fibre was installed I fought with the bunch of Symfonisks to get them working again and I’m mega reluctant to jeopardize that by fiddling around with it AT ALL. So. Has the situation changed and now these babies will work with S2, or no?

So the scenario is I’m airplaying an album from my Mac to my Sonos Amp. This shows up on my iPhone’s control centre but I cannot control the playback from my iPhone, it’s won’t connect when I click on it in the screenshot. Shouldn’t I be able to control the playback from my phone otherwise why does the Sonos Amp (Jamie’s Hi-Fi) even show up on my phone? 

Today our S1 apps (Android) told us that upgrade to S2 was compulsory as the S1 controller was no longer compatible with our system. Nothing has changed since it worked fine yesterday.Is anybody else being forced to change? Given negativity I see on S2 stability I am reluctant to upgrade if I don’t have to.All my devices are S2 compatible BTW
