When will we add a proper YouTube Music service?

Hello there,

YouTube Music is moving fast, the service (finally) have some serious content on its apps (web or mobile), like new playlists, context playlists, personnalised playlists… Nothing appears on the Sonos app for Youtube, users are still locked in artists / songs / library mode. The “home” page doesn’t display much…

We need a better sync with what Youtuve Music offers to its users on its apps.

Also, we should be able to vote up or down songs inside the Sonos app and to launch radios more easily from tracks, playlists like we used to from Google Play Music, and the ability to add or remove tracks from our own playlists.

PS : I’m using the S1 version of Sonos because guess what, my speakers are still working fine !

Note that Sonos wrote the API, but it’s up to YouTube Music (Google) to implement the feed to Sonos. Sonos has no ability to change the information that Google sends to your device.

Ok, if that’s confirmed, I’ll shift my consumer lobbying to them.

What confirmation do you need? You could read the Sonos partners page. If that’s of any help.
