Hello,Now that we are being forced by Google to switch from Google Play Music to YouTube Music, I noticed the following permissions requirements when linking YTM to Sonos:View and manage your videos and playlists View and manage your YouTube activity, including posting public comments.Questions: What exactly does Sonos do in terms of retaining my YTM playlist data? Is this sent back to the mothership and analyzed? I’m asking because I have many video playlists in YouTube that have nothing to do with music, but I actually consider them somewhat personal and sensitive.* Why the heck is Sonos asking to post public comments under my name, and to ‘manage’ my activity? What do they actually do? This permission seems to be very excessive and unrelated to the function of playing music. What do they do with this ability? Hi, every time I try to play something it says connection to Mixcloud lost. Can’t seem get Soundcloud to play anything now. Sonos system then selects its own music which continues to loop in connection lost. When it eventually plays a mix it will last for about an hour and then just switch to something else. (2 x Play 1, play 3 and bridge).

Hi guys , I recently bought sonos playbar for my lg tv. It connects perfectly with tv but when i trying to use or play music through airplay streaming i could not find my sonos playbar. So not able to listen music with apple airplay because its not showing my playbar . I think sonos playbar not supportapple airplay. Can you fix this issue . 

Hi all, I am trying to grab my free trial of Sonos Radio HD and my postcode doesnt seem to be recognised.  I have tried inputting it with no space and with a space in between the first three characters and second three characters but nothing seems to work.  The fact it is referring to it as a ZIP code suggests to me it is looking for a US format postcode.   Wither way I cannot claim my free trial currently.  Any advice on how to fix?

What does "Coming soon" mean to Sonos?  Why does the last half-year of Apple device releases not have Trueplay support?The iPhone SE 2020 was released over half a year ago. For much of that time this support page: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3222 has listed support for the device as "Coming soon". I own an iPhone SE 2020 and still cannot get trueplay to work with thousands of dollars of Sonos equipment.Now let's take a look at the current "Coming soon" list, with release dates:iPod touch (7th generation) - released 20190528, 1.5 years since release. iPad Pro 12.9" (4th generation) - released 20200325, 7+ months since release iPad Pro 11" (2nd generation) - same as above iPhone SE (2nd generation) - released 20200424, 6+ months since releaseA reasonable person would call 6 months adverbs other than "soon". Moreover 1.5 years for the iPod touch is especially egregious, seeing as that was pre-covid. If support is not planned (ever) for a product, that should be clearly stipulated.

Sonos 2 app (android) is requesting an update for components (Boost+Speakers).  Push update button and it takes me to Google Play store, I open the app and it takes me back to the update button! It is stuck in a loop, assume I will have to delete app and reinstall?Dave

I have a system that should be fully compliant with S1, nothing is older than May 2020. Yet when I start the S1 client it tries to force me to download S2. I do not want to change, I can't believe the issues I'm seeing and basically nothing could force me to do that until they are solved. Why am I being forced to change, when none of my devices are even from 2020? How can I keep using S1? 

I am looking at Sonos speakers. The Web site lists numerous music services that play via Sonos speakers. I current am in trials at Amazon HD and Apple Music. I have not been able to ‘get’ whether music on Sonos must stream from my iphone to the speaker or if my phone (or voice commands) simply tell the speaker to stream directly from the music service. Can someone enlighten me? 

as you probably know, airplay suffer from a pretty massive delay.I would love to use my 2 Sonos ones as speakers for my Mac but its impossible to manage stuff like zoom calls and stuff like that with this massive delay.I was wondering if there could be a way to send the audio wirelessly to the speakers via the Sonos app for Mac instead of airplay and remove the delay. thank you in advanced,Asaf Navon

Hello I have been using a friend’s Spotify account to build a playlist in Sonos. I now have my own Spotify account so would like to switch in the Sonos App but not sure if it means I will need to build my Sonos playlist from scratch, if yes what do I need to do to avoid that?

Is anyone else having the issue i am? the Sonos app, when using SiriusXM does not update with the song information like it used to? when the app is open and the channel selected it shows the song previously played and that information remains there fot eh duration of us? i’m just curious if anyone else is experiencing this and if so, how did you troubleshoot it? Thanks

Did every Sonos user abandon the request for being able to use/assign physical button to the alarm snooze function? If not, is there a current thread for this suggestion/request? If not, this just - hopefully - restarted it.Thanks,knutb

Sonos has created a new upgrade program, with a 30 % discount on new products. It replaces the much debated and criticized 'Trade Up Program.'My old Connect Amp is in 'Recycling Mode'. But...I would like to reverse it, and use my Connect Amp again.I'm sure it's possible, so...when will Sonos offer the option?

Sonos is a complete waste of money. I bought it to use with my iPad to play my music YT now I can’t do that so just a really expensive radio! Also I cannot get it to work with my pc. Useless. Does any know if there is a system that you can use with an iPad?

Hi Everyone,Wonder if someone can help me with the following question:If I want to stream music (24-bit 44.1kHz/48kHz) directly from Amazon HD via the Sonos app (S2) in the latest Sonos Five. Does the Sonos Five need to be wired or can it stream that quality wireless as well?I have a 100mb broadband speed so not a problem.Looking forward to your answers.

I cannot create a group from the Spotify iOS app. This is what I get when selecting the option to create a group. I was able to do last month but after a Sonos system update and/or iOS 14 and/or latest Spotify app update I only get this blank screen.  Of course I can still create the group from the Sonos app.

HiI just bought a Oneplus Nord and can't get Sonos to show on the lockscreen. The volume control doesn't work either.  I've tried Spotify and that works on the lock screen.What can I do about it? 

Hiya, Sonos peeps!While I respect that Sonos is encouraging people to upgrade, I’m growing a bit weary of the S1 app asking me to consider updating to S2 over and over and over.You know I have legacy equipment, you know I’ve chosen to stay on S1, you know you’ve asked already. So stop asking already!Btw, I bought my first Sonos gear 10+ years ago and have grown our collection over time. Everything still works great! I admire that Sonos has created and supports such durable tech gear, as way too many companies don’t.So don’t consider this post a complaint. Consider this a gracious request.

Hi all,I have downloaded the S2 Controller app for Windows 10 and I am facing the issue that I cannot find the option how to minimize the Controller into the system tray. When I minimize it, the the app gets minimized into the taskbar. I tried to open Mini Controller and then to minimize the master app, but then I got two application in the taskbar instead of system tray.Could you please let me know if there is any “hidden” option that you can check/uncheck to have S2 Controller app minimized into the system tray like, for example, Spotify app.Thank you and best regards.
