Just checking - currently using S1 software. Is there any way of getting rid of the Sonos Radio icon? I’ll never use it and pressing it just goes to a sign-up screen.

I have two rooms:Living Room: sonos one gen 1 Kitchen:  sonos one gen 2We always play music using Airplay on our iPhones.I’d like to have three ways to connect to bluetooth to connect via AirPlay:Living Room Kitchen All Rooms: both Living Room and KitchenAs it is right now options one and two exist, I just need assistance in setting up the All Rooms option. I tried to create a group however it says you can only do that for three or more rooms.Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to remove Sonos Radio from the menus in the mobile and/or desktop apps?   It’s rather in the way, and since we already have Spotify, Amazon, Tunein, I really don’t need to add another service. Since it’s confusing for people to see it, and then be presented with a login box (why!?), I’d rather just hide the icon. Is there a way? If not, why not?

Similar to other discussions, had been using Sonos 1 with no issues.Sonos 2 app on Windows different story, service fails to start/process crashes etc.None of the “uninstall and re-install” stuff works.By looking at the event logs, decided to look at the cases of the exception being thrown with other products. Hello Not sure who can assist or what the solution is? Was Thinking a paid subscription may assist? Selected sonos station 365 smooth jazz lounge to play  sonos auto play selection for this station began playing the following song Eazy - E - Merry X-Mas under information shows now playing this song? why is a rap song with curse words playing on a smooth lounge jazz station? not to mention the commercial adds that play more often then music plays   *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the community guidelines.*

Confised amd disappointed    Im 99% sure sonos under s1 woukd play 24/48 flac so what exciting things have arrived other rhan some room configuration? 

i just submitted diagnostics 1953926018. VERY frustrated Sonos customer here. After 2 years of perfect connectivity and NO changes to my ISP, router or speakers, now sonos drops every few minutes and intermittently loses speakers, all Play 1. This only started after the S2 controller app update. NOTHING ELSE CHANGED. I was on CS chat for over 50 min this am, case #02469027 and we tried everything, no luck. They won't eacalate until i do this all over again but via phone. What a waste of time when NOTHING changed on my end. I now have 100s of dollars in speakers that won't play.  What is Sonos doing to correct??

Hi all, I just spend several hours reading the several discussions about the bugs create by the android 10 Release.I’m using several samsung phones which are not able anymore to found my Sonos system.System a boost and 4 old play one. I’m not able to connect it anymore via the boost to my phone.(yes IO restarted all the system , the router , the app, the phone , and no it did not fix the issue….)Funny point on my ‘old’ Samsung phone under Android 8 it is still working.So it seems that on top of Sonos issue with the I-phone OS, you also have issue with Android 10 . Is there a fix foreseen as the problem with the latest android OD as it seems not linked to the phone manufacturer (several of them are impacted according to the forum .

I have a Five connected to my PC via the line-in. The PC sometimes is used for Skype, Zoom, etc. Mostly I use the Five for streaming. But if the PC beeps or otherwise makes a sound, it terminates the music stream, which I have to restart. It would be MUCH better if either the Five could simply merge the two input streams (act as a mixer), or return to streaming when the PC shuts up. Seems like at least the second approach should be a very easy fix, with a switch to control whether this behavior is enabled. Acting as a mixer might be harder, but should be considered.Does anybody else have this problem? 

Hi allOk so l have 2 competing systems in my home !Both work well Sonos 1 & Yamaha MusicCast but would be good to just have one system.My LG Oled is connected to my Yamaha RXA3080 & B & W Centre, ASW sub & 2 x CM5 bookshelf as fronts & 4 in ceiling speakers & rears & atmos.I am using the Yamaha zone 2 to power myAlfresco speakers as you can see the TV & this ensures no lag in the sound all controlled by the MusicCast app.I then have 4 Sonos ones & 2 ZP120s powering 2 pairs of ceiling speakers in other rooms all run by The Sonos 1 app.In the cupboard l have a Sonos connect ZP90 not plugged in doing nothing.If l plug the connect into the Yamaha amp how should l do that, what connection type & port.Will that bring the Yamaha & the TV surround speakers & the alfresco set up into the Sonos app?Will doing this create a wifi lag in the alfresco speakers taking them out of sync with the TV?with thanks for your expertise in advance.

Okay, so I recently received an LG ThinQ TV with the Magic Remote and had difficulty setting it up to control the Sonos system. I spent a decent amount of time researching how to do it and after following step by step processes of known setup up procedures to make it work, it still didn’t work. Needless to say, the one step that made it work was to simply turn off the tv and run the remote configuration setup through the Sonos app and it works seamlessly.  

Hi pals, is there an option to sort a playlist “upside down” meaning that the songs least added to a spotify playlist will be at the top? I recently found this feature in the spotify app itself but did not see any equivalent in the SONOS app. As my “Star rated” playlist on spotify contains roughly 1000 songs it would be handy to get faster to the tracks I recently added. Hi,while visiting my parents over Christmas, I made the following observation: they have a small Sonos system in their home, consisting of two Play:1 and one Play:5 gen. 2 as well as a Bridge. At some point they upgraded their system to S2, so all the Speakers are running S2 now while the bridge is of course still on S1 and should not work with the rest of the system anymore, or that’s at least what I expected. Since I thought the bridge would be rather useless now, I unplugged it’s power cable just to realize that by doing this, all the speakers stopped working and the app lost connection to the system. Plugging the bridge back in, system reverted to normal operation. In the app under “My System” all the components are shown with WM:0, meaning they have a wired connection (via the bridge). So why exactly does Sonos tell us that the Bridge is not compatible with S2, which might be technically correct (it still runs S1) but who cares as long as it does its job? Best,Andreas 

There is probably an easy solution for this problem, but it is currently driving me nuts. Say I want to search for a song using Spotify. I open Sonos on my Mac computer. I click on Spotify. There is a LONG list of either Sonos or Spotify-created playlists that I had nothing to do with creating. No way to get rid of that page. And when it’s open, the Spotify search box is grayed out. So I basically cannot use Spotify at all. Sometimes I get lucky and can go directly to the search box, but more often than not, searching on Spotify is simply not available for me. And I would really like for that “suggestion” page to go away.I am as updated as I can be using Sonos One. I have the old “bridge” and Boost plus three speakers. I have the Sonos app on an Ipad Pro and a Mac running High Sierra.  

My family installed Sonos in a condominium complex that provides high speed Wi-Fi. The signal is strong enough to support Sonos, keep the music streaming (for the most part) but when we want to change the volume or the song we often have to reconnect our phones through the network and then to the Sonos (first world problems I know). Would a Sonos boost or any other product (remote or something I’m overlooking) help this issue? I am essentially looking for something to stay connected to my network so I can control the app?

I’m incredibly frustrated with the Sonos ecosystem the past 24 months, but unfortunately I’ve got enough invested in the eco system I’m still trying to make use. I don’t know what sort of pissing match Sonos is in with Google on the backend but the ZERO updates to Google Assistant or the numerous issues plaguing it since release suggest there is one. I’ve given up on Sonos Google Assistant and just ditched it. That said, Google have forced everyone to YouTube Music so I can’t dodge that. With YTM we’ve lost the ability to cast from the YTM app to Sonos speakers. Google Play could, YTM can’t so clearly not a technical thing but a business thing.Sonos’s response is “use our app”. Ok let’s pretend like it’s 8 years ago and that’s how people want to stream their music, the YTM integration into Sonos is brutal. I can’t add any songs or stations to My Sonos (also known as Sonos Favorites) using my iPhone Sonos S1 app. It just says “Unable to add [name] to My Sonos.” Also tried adding songs to Sonos Favorites using the macOS Controller app (just updated to latest version) but it also fails.I tried adding songs from Amazon Music, YouTube Music, my local music library. They all fail. Also tried adding a Station on Pandora to My Sonos and that fails too. Anyone else having the same issue?

This is the screen I get yet when I tap download nothing happens so I now don't have the S1 APP or the S2! Any ideas why it won't download?

Hi,When I try to add something to the "My Sonos" section on the S1 Android app, I always get a message…Unable to add ”..." to My SonosI tried this with radio stations from TuneIn and Sonos radio as well as albums and songs from Spotify. I cleared the cache and data without success. Anyone else having this issue?I'm on a galaxy s9 plus.Thanks, Stuart  

How to add variety to stations it seems like it has change with S2 form S1. does anyone know how to do this with S2? TY Bob

My iTunes Library is massive - if I try to add it to Sonos it spends ages cataloguing it then, ultimately, I cannot see anything in it. It’s just blank when I select it.However, most of my iTunes library is available on Deezer and Spotify anyway, so I only need a few albums in my iTunes library to listen to on Sonos. I created a second iTunes library with just a few albums in it (you can see how here) and tried to import this into Sonos. But it just automatically imports my standard iTunes library. Very annoying. Especially s there is no way to cancel the process and I have to wait hours for it to unsuccessfully finish so I can have another go. Does anyone know how to not import the default iTunes library and instead select the location?Many thanks.

Hi all, I recently got a Beam and I wanted to connect it with my existing S1 system consisting of two Play:1’s.Although the compatibility page (https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4786?language=en_US) states that the Beam can work with both S1 and S2, when I try to add it to the existing S1 system I get the the below error.Is there any work around to allow connecting the Beam with my S1 controller? About BeamThis product is only compatible with the Sonos S2 app. It isn’t compatible with your Sonos S1 Controller. You can:Review options for updating your system. Hello,I have the Sonos app installed on an Iphone XR with lOS 14.2, and many times the app disappears from the lock screen after using the phone for other things and locking it again. In order to have it in the lock screen again I have to kill it and open a new session. Same thing happened in my previous Iphone 6s. This is very annoying and I hope there’s a solution otherwise my opinion on Sonos will definitely fall down, because usability is very poor.thanks

We want to add a turntable to our setup but I am unsure what equipment I would need.I have searched the forums but it’s still unclear since either people don’t have the Playbar (it’s older) or there is conflicting information.I have a Playbar hooked up to a Samsung 55KU6300 TV, with 2x Sonos Ones for surround sound. I also have a couple Sonos Play:1 in other rooms.Options:I know I have the option of buying a Sonos 5 and hooking a turntable up to it, but I don’t really have any place to put a Sonos 5 + turntable.Another option is buying an Amp (or would only a Port work?).I don’t think I have any options as far as TV audio input goes as I don’t have anymore audio inputs available (Playbar uses optical).Anymore?
