Hi! Just wondering if there have been any suggestions of adding av «quick toggle» surronund on off in the main «arc» controll page? I think that would be an great controll to add, for when i am just watching news on the tv.

Hi @Lars Marius.

Welcome, thank you for reaching out to Sonos Community, We appreciate your time and effort in posting your concern here in our community.

That's actually a really good idea to easily remove and add back the surround by using a toggle button on the control page.

I'll submit a feature request to add a toggle option in the actual control page to our development team.

We don't have a timeline we can share for this feature, but we'll be sure to make an announcement if we have any updates.

But for now, the only way to remove surround speakers is by manually going to the Settings » System in the Sonos app.

Let us know if it works. If you need help with any other information, please be sure to let us know.

@Lars Marius, It is possible to toggle off the surrounds in the upper right corner within the Surround Audio Settings.

Thanks for tips, i know its possible to toggle it from settings 🙂 i just had an suggestion on making it a cupple of steps easier to handle.

This would be great. I think there’s been more than a few threads on something like this, usually wanting to separate the surrounds for another purpose… but just turning it off/on like in the deeper system->product->Surround Audio menu would be fantastic. I like having the surround turned off during the day when the kids are making noise or we might want to chat during a TV show. In the evening I want to turn the surround back on when I’m focused on a movie, etc.

I came here to suggest quick toggle on that exact screen, either right there with the existing buttons or in that menu where Crossfade and Sleep Timer settings exist.
