HiI just reset my Sonos Arc, I have logged into my Sonos account on the website and it still shows under “system”Will this disappear eventually? I plan to gift the the arc so don't want it showing under my Sonos account, is there anything else I need to do or should it vanish eventually?Sorry wasn't sure where to post this.Thank you

Its a very complicated product!There is no Bluetooth.I really dont understand how to upload music to sonos?I down watch t.v.So now my only thing that I need to listen is to sonos radio?Its so disappointing! I weist a lot of money to pay for this 😞. What is my options exept your radio? *My product is sonos beam 2I wanna listen to music from my country.

I feel I’ve tried everything to add my own music to Sonos after it disappeared some time ago. I’m using a Macbook Pro running Monterey 12.7.5 and Sonos (on the Mac at 16.4.2).It fails when asking for my id and password - I changed my id to ensure it was correct using the Terminal app. Am I correct that the password should be the one I use to log on to the Mac with?I’ve checked sharing options and they look OK but I can screenshot anything.Really, really frustrating and I know this isn’t the first time this question has been asked :-(

Simple question as a dealer/installer/user:  When will the ability to select and control “Line-In” return?  On the “gold” app, it was part of the “Browse” screen at the bottom of the list of services.  IT IS NOW GONE.  One may presume it should have been in the “Your System” area, but who knows?  Whereas I have reviewed many complaints and issues with the deprecation of features in the new app, the inability to control Line-In is not only a devastating loss, but a liability as many users have purchased the products specifically for their ability to support a Line-In.  I am referring to the “Keith N” response of two days ago and the bullet list of the five features/issues that there is a supposed date for them to return.  See image below and there is NO LINE-IN: 

Just a word of warning before you face a new world of angst/hurt, the new version of Norton (version 24) appears to suffer the same failings as the sonos app supposed  ‘upgrade’. They are using the customers for QA !!! Head on over to the Norton forum for further info and turn off auto update till you see if the issues affect you. *This has been a public service announcement by someone who is fed up of tech firms thinking ‘if it aint broke, then lets break it!’

I have been reluctant, for over a year, to update from the S1 software to S2 software on my devices. The  speakers on a whole house system that are integrated together. I want all my devices on the same system. Sonos updated without my permission a year ago and I lost a speaker because once it was updated to S2 it could not be changed or downgraded back to s1, this was a One SL speaker. It was frustrating  I worked with Sonos for months for a fix or a resolution, but never got one. I still have my first Sonos item I purchased  a Zone Player  S5, the original, It still works and sounds great. If I update to S2 this will not work with my whole house integrated system. I just want to know if anyone can give me any answers of what the advantage would be to upgrade to S2 from S1 I am currently have been using for years. I am not having any problems with the S1 software. Please help.

Amp user here.I recently found a cool, local Portland station called xray.fm. They play ZERO ads on xray.fm which is one of the parts I love (I donated to them).I thought I’d check if there was a way to listen in Sonos and was thrilled to see xray.fm show up when I searched. I added it, clicked play and was immediately assaulted by ads! I know they aren’t coming from the actual station, so who is inserting the ads?Like probably all of you, I purchased Sonos hardware at great cost and I can’t imagine it would be Sonos inserting them.Can someone help me understand where the ads are coming from and if there is a way to stop them from being inserted?

I know many threads exist with this exact feature request and Sonos staff acknowledged it over a year ago.So, SONOSWhy can’t we remove SONOS Radio? We never listen to it and please don’t force things on us 

Music library not found. Tried everything with no success. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Using the App, I can see all rooms and stream to each of them individually. When I try to "join" them via the App they immediately ungroup back to single rooms and only the first room plays music. I used to be able to achieve all this via wifi but a new provider and router has made connecting by wifi impossible. I have joined all via ethernet and all speakers have been assigned IP addresses via DHCPEach room has a network switch between the router and the speakers  

Hi all 👋So my playlists are now in Favourites My question is, how do we create a new one ie best of an artist or fav tracks, or add to exsiting?Is this  feature coming back?Also the main album artwork is not showing but it is agains track listing Thanks  

Why the new system is not the same in Apple IOS like in Windows? In windows I can make new playlists and add a song or a directory from home network BUT NOT in IOS? Or (maybe) I'm idiot? 😄 

Dear Sonos World,Following the disastrous app release, can someone please advise if there is a timeline as to when we can expect everything to be working again.It has been months of shouting at Alexa, and waiting for the app to ‘warm up’ and we have had to get some bluetooth speakers in the meantime in order to be able to listen to anything with any confidence, and when we want to. I heard a rumour Sonos would allow us to use the old app until everything was fixed, will this happen?Appreciate an update.Tx

Just went to use my system and got the error message "unable to connect to services". Restarted app and router, same problem. Found the app could be updated (Android) so did that and still same problem, no services showing in the app. Sonos service status page shows everything is OK.  Any ideas?

After transferring my music library (using iTunes) from my iMac to my MacBook Air I can only play music when my MacBook Air is on.I also have the app my iPhone which can control playing my library when my MacBook Air is on but not when I have switched it off.

I created a simple web interface for Sonos speakers. It doesn’t have all the functionality, but it could be extended. It’s available free at Sonos Web on Github. It uses this middleware from @jishi based on NodeJS, which I extended with additional functionality.See what you think. 

I’ve installed the Sonos app on my wife’s iPhone logging in my my login and password. The system and both of our phones are all on the same network - lets call it ABCD. Everything is working fine between my iPhone and the Sonos system. When I open the app on my wife’s phone, it says “Not Connected No products found for more information go to System Settings”. When I go to System Settings, it says your system not found on ABCD and invites me to Update network or Set up a new system. If I go to Update network, it seems to want to update the network settings for the products which are already connected to the system via my phone. Something seems to be wrong here! Can someone help me please? 

Hi all, I'm new here, but have a fairly old setup on 3 Play 1's and a Play bar. I have recently moved house and found that I needed multiple AP's in order to get WiFi around my house and garden. I opted for an Omada system, consisting of an EAP225 (Outside) and an EAP610 inside. Both are wired to an EE router which has the WiFi turned off. The issue I have is I can attach them all to the system, but I can't play anything other than Sonos Radio. I have a Deezer account and whilst I can see my favourite songs / playlists etc, when I press play I just get a spinning wheel of doom. I have also tried with BBC radio, and I have the same issue. It's almost as if it can't attach to the internet. I have tried downgrading my entire system to 2.4ghz, and I have tried plugging one of the Play 1's directly into the router, and still the same result. Interestingly I tried downgrading to S1 and it did work, but one of my Play 1's won't downgrade for some r

I tried to connect my Era 300 by wifi with my pc for the 1st time. I tried to use the website’s app but it didnt find it. 

Since the recent changes, my Beam (G1) keeps disappearing from the system. With a lot of fiddling, I can get it back but haven’t managed to identify a consistent simple workaround.  Suspect this is something to do with switching between TV (optical connex) and Sonos system as the system is generally used for radio in the day and TV at night. Mark Enderby

I’ve upgraded to new iOS app (80.01.11) on iPhone running 17.5.1. Sonos Playbar & Play:1.Sonos app settings have Local Network & Bluetooth enabled (disabling either makes no difference). App reports No System Found, and I can’t add system. It is connected to my Wifi (I can see the devices via wifi mgmt tool). I can see and control the system via Sonos Controller for PC (v16.2) over wifi - so there is no problem with my network setup, or the Playbar/Play:1 connection to the network.Is this a known problem on this new app, any known workaround or fix? 

Like many of you I have been suffering many problems since the update in May and on occasions read about ‘improvements’ which I couldn’t see.Before you decide to chuck it all in frustration, ask your self whether you ever agreed to go on the Beta program, I did probably 6 years ago and forgot. If you are on the Beta program you are likely NOT getting the correct updates when released!I discovered this yesterday after nearly 3 hours on the phone to tech support about problems getting access to Spotify, Tidal and some other services through Sonos. They didn’t appear in the list.Having withdrawn from the Beta program, low and behold, this morning I am now receiving new updates. While I believe there is still much to do to improve the app and get it back where it was, I can already see some improvements which I didn’t have yesterday.You can remove yourself from the Beta program here 

I have put up with the missing sleep timer, the self created radio stations that have disappeared and other  bugs…..but now I can play on one speaker or another or another but not all grouped together.GET your act together and fix the software….this is CRAP!!!
