Are you on the latest app update, and presumably you’ve run the latest system update for the speakers too in the app’s settings?
FYI : If you use Norton then I would turn off auto-update as they have done ‘a Sonos’ with their latest update
Yes, always keep updated. I wish they would make a decision and either bring back the old app or make this one work. There is noui can do to make this app work better. This is on Sonos to create an intuitive consumer friendly app.
I am using Apple products. No Norton.

It’s New Years Eve and the Sonos app is still terrible and prevents anything like running a dance party, changing tracks, volume etc.
Sonos please bring back the old app that simply runs the hardware.

I’ve been a Big Sonos fan since it was first released. I loved it and heavily evangelised about it to friends.
im always open to new ideas and obviously new software is required for new features. It’s also nessesary to cut manufacturers some slack with new software.
Im sorry to say however that I believe the big software upgrade of their UI has moved my opinion of the Sonos product down several notches. It used to be intuitive, you could pass it round at gatherings and people could add music to the queue that had never seen the product!
the same isn’t true for the new UI ; which I have truly tried to live with.!

We probably will not get the old UI back, but I too have noticed some UI deficiencies, like some buttons having more than one function and some buttons (like “Manage”) not being represented as buttons. What are your gripes?
