My Sonos system was connected via Ethernet through my Playbar. I’ve moved my internet to a different room, meaning Sonos is now connected through a Play One. I couldn’t get the system to work and opted to factory reset all speakers. Since going through the factory reset process, I can no longer add Apple Music to my system. Each time I try, the Sonos app transfers me to Apple Music where I select, “Already a member” at which point I’m asked for my password. I am then presented with a pop up window saying, “We’ve run into a problem. Try again.”Here’s a diagnostic: 593911634Thanks in advance, to all that chip in.
Diagnostic #2021553568when it works well, it’s great, but listening to music from a tv source or YouTube makes all other speakers besides playbar and 1s in family room cut out. It is so annoying, I run around turning off WiFi on all other things in the house but it changes nothing, please help.i also have a boost, which does absolutely nothing.
Ive had really horrible performance on the latest updates. Song titles don’t update, grouping/volume doesn’t update or is very slow, etc. I rebooted the network per a support sessions with Sonia and rebooted my units and reinstalled the app today. Any ideas?
able to connect to all other services. SiriusXM says, “no selections are available, or unable to browse music
I recently changed my Apple ID and subsequently lost my Apple Music service connection. Since then I have tried my new password to no avail and have removed and reinstalled Apple Music. When authorising I get an error when it switches to apple music to authenticate saying “we’ve run into a problem. Try agin”. Anyone have any ideas. My subscription is up to date just the change in password caused the problem.
Does anyone else have issues adding YouTube Music songs to the queue? I own an IKEA Sonos symfonisk and it worked just fine until today when it just won't let me play any songs from my YouTube music account. Every other service I use works fine, my YouTube account is fine and the subscription is active. I have tried reseting the app and the speaker, nothing. Any ideas?
Hi all, s1 app on my son’s iphone not showing our sonos devices In the house WHILE all devices show on my S1 app on my iPhone without a problem. I even signed my son into my Sonos account
This is starting to get a bit tedious, especially for a 400,- costing device I just expect it to work. I have the Sonos Move now for almost two weeks. I have connected Youtube Music as a service but I can only choose what to play in the Sonos App, in the Youtube music app the speaker simply does not show. Now for Spotify it works, in the beginning in the browser ánd the app. Now, only on the app and maybe that is a Spotify thing, I am not sure but this is getting tedious. Yes, all devices are connected to the same WiFi network, the services are authorized and work from the Sonos app. Also, the Sonos app is able to connect to the speaker so no connection issues there. Anything I can do? I bought it so that I can play from different apps and devices (computers) across my home.
I have a Sonos One with Alexa along with an Echo Dot but the two wont operate together. To give an example if I ask Sonos One to play music in the kitchen it will do it but if I ask the Echo Dot to play music in kitchen it tries to do it but tells me the speaker is Offline - and it’s the same will all of the other speakers. So Sonos One and Alexa do not act as one.As far as I can tell they are linked in Alexa. I’d be grateful for any help in sorting this. Thanks Allan
I have an extensive Sonos system at home, including 1 Sonos Move. The system works fine, I’m using Smartthings Mesh network and also wired sonos products.Since couple of weeks, Sonos Move is showing offline, and I’ve tried all the troubleshooting solutions provided in the support sections, including: Reset, all system reboot, router and mesh reboot, tried even the whole house electricity shutdown… Still the Sonos Move won’t work.Meanwhile 3x Arc+Sub+Surrounds, 1 amp, 2x Sonos Five are all working fine.I’ve noticed that the Sonos Move won’t switch even to bluetooth after reset.I’m getting really pissed and angry by this issue.Any serious and working solution to solve this issue? Regards
Hi All, I have a Sonos Arc and an LG CX. Periodically, the audio (connected via eARC) drops out when we watch Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc. The connection eventually comes back after a while (or after we move backward in the video we’re watching for long enough). When the disconnects happen, the Sonos app indicates the bar has no audio signal. Oddly, when the audio disconnects, it generally comes back if I let Netflix auto play one of its preview/trailers (this is regardless of whether the audio cut out when we were watching something on Netflix or not). Any thoughts appreciated. Am I right to think the issue is likely with the TV (accessing everything through the TV’s apps; no Fire stick or Apple TV, etc.)? And could this be due to an internet connection issue (though I see speedtest results of 150-250 Mbps, so I’m assuming not)? Thanks!
I have several Connect:Amp(s) wired via Ethernet directly into my Calix Fiber mesh router. This mesh router also is broadcasting a wifi 6 signal as 1 of 2 mesh access points. The other 1 AP is upstairs. They are both using the same SSID.From the router, all of my Connect:Amp(s) are on the network with a white LED light showing. If I can get my cellphone using the Sonus S1 app to connect to the main router wifi signal, it can see the Connect:Amp(s). When I walk upstairs and the Sonus S1 app seamlessly connects to the other mesh node and voila, the Sonus S1 app no longer sees my Sonus system and i have to follow the threads to reconnect after a router change.Besides downgrading to a non-mesh WiFi; using separate access points with separate SSIDs, what can I do?TIA
Have a Sonos Beam paired to 2 Play 1 speakers and the sound will not hold beyond 15%. Last about 5 seconds before going back down.
From sonos controller on my laptop I try to access Music Library through Folders, music/iTunes library. I get to a list of artists and select an album but then Unable to browse music. I don't have this problem when accessing music via my android phone. I set my laptop to update music library but even after many hours nothing updates.
Hello - I just aquired a Playbase from a friend and he said he was unable to connect it via wifi but it works no problem via ethernet. I tried setting up the wifi network while it was plugged into the ethernet cable, but it kept saying the password was incorrect even as it wasn't. Am I just going to have to always have it connected via ethernet or has anyone had a resolution on fixing this issue? Thanks!
I’m using the Sonos 1 app on a Catalina 10.15.7 Mac. It was working perfectly until I (intentionally) erased everything and added it back fresh. Now I’m getting an error “Unable to Play “song name.mp3” access to //Macname/Music denied.”I am running Bitdefender and gave Sonos access to my music files, and in macOS preferences I gave Sonos 1 full disk access.Any other thoughts?
Hi Sonos community. As with many here, I've had functionality issues after upgrading to the S2 app.I use a Samsung s20 android phone. I used to be able to play music stored in the /Music folder on my SD card using the S1 app. However, since the upgrade to s2 app, I can still see the music on my SD card, however when I try to play any music from my SD card, I get an error message saying "(song name)... is no longer available on (phone name)".Anyone have any helpful tips to solve this issue? Am really frustrated here, as I've never had this issue up until now. Many thanks in advance.Regards,Arthur
I recently deployed an AMP to drive ceiling speakers in my kitchen (it is one of 4 AMP units amongst other Sonos gear I have). When originally deployed it all worked just fine and has been used several times.I tried to play the kitchen today and whilst I can see the Kitchen AMP in the AP (S2) and the app says it is playing, I can stop/start the tracks, change the music, change the volume (on the app at least if not in reality) but there is no sound at all coming from the speakers. I have rebooted the unit (and waited 60 seconds before powering back up) but still no joy. The speaker cables are still connected as originally set……..I am at a loss. Thoughts appreciated……..
Hi why won’t my play 3 no Ionger update ?
I recently upgraded my router and since then Sonos can’t find my computer. I’m using a MacBook Air running Catalina 10.15.7. and running the Sonos S1 controller version 11.2.3 Everything worked fine before the router upgrade. Here is a list of the things I’ve tried already;removed music share path and reentered it rebooted the router and all Sonos components turned off the Mac’s firewall verified other computers on the network can see my Mac and can access shares on the Mac rebooted my Mac a coupe of times checked the router DHCP and static address listings. Both the Mac and the Sonos components have valid IP addresses and are on the same network subnet verified my NetBios name matches my computer nameI can access Sonos from the Mac, and run other music services with no issue. I’m out of ideas, so any help would be appreciated.
I have an AMP and just replaced my old analog tube tv with a Sony X950H. The AMP is connected via HDMI to the ARC/eARC port. I used the iOS app "Catchin’ Sync” with a test video to measure video/audio sync, and my audio was in advance of the video. So far, I’ve tried turning off all the bells and whistles on the Sony’s video processing to speed up the video, and I’ve turned up the AMP’s TV Dialog Sync delay all the way to ‘5’. I changed the TV’s audio to Dolby instead of PCM. The audio is still slightly in advance of the video (about 30ms) but is still noticeable since the brain is more sensitive to audio happening before video. Any ideas how to get a bit more delay? The Compression option only works for the RCA Line In, not HDMI, and the Group Delay doesn’t apply since it’s only one room. The TV can output audio via HDMI, optical, or a headphone jack, though I’d prefer HDMI. Thanks.
Clicking on listed Sonos Radio stations, e.g. for Irish radio stations, nothing happens. Seems to be the case for lots of listed stations. Why is this?
I emailed Sonos with details of an error at the weekend - got a message promising a reply within 24 hours but have heard nothing - so though I would try here. In the past few week Spotify (Premium Family members) has become completely redundant on our Sonos system. None of us are able to play any Spotify tracks on Sonos - either from the Spotify app or from the Sonos Controller app. We have been through all of the suggestions (rebooting, removing Sonos, removing Spotify, checking Wi-Fi connection etc) and nothing has fixed it. We can stream from our Music Library to all devices (so we assume wi-fi is working fine ) and we can stream internet radio stations (so we assume Sonos has internet connection). I have submitted support diagnostics reference 1445143747. Any suggestions much appreciated
Have been very happy with my Sonos system but yesterday it would not stream SiriusXM- this has never been a problem before. I have rebooted routers. I made sure all current updates were installed . I deleted SiriusXM and reinstalled with a new password. Nothing has helped. When I go to the SiriusXM menus all I get is not selections are available’. Sonos status page seems to indicate that all the services are functioning properly. Have no difficulty streaming the SiriusXM directly from the Sirius site through my computer. Thanks for any insight / help.
