I have splitted my audiofiles over 18 Folders on MyBook Live Duo. Sonos will only accept a maximum of 14 folders. The problem is when i put more audiofiles in a folder to downsize to 14 folders then i have too much audiofiles in the folders and in this way Sonos won’t accept either. I don’t know exactly how much audiofiles i can put in a folder but when i am roughly above 1500 tracks in one folder then Sonos won’t accept.
I have a Playbase set up (wifi, living room) and an AMP (wifi, basement) powering two ceiling speakers in the living room. Whenever i set up the AMP to be surround sound speakers of the playbase everything seems to be connecting properly but no sound is being played from the ceiling speakers. I notice that the AMP is no longer connected to the wifi when it is set up as surround sound speakers. Diagnostic Number: 803721337
First off, thanks for any assistance.I have 3 VLANs, one for each of my businesses in a strip. Business 1, 2, 3. I have a UAP in each unit, and attached to its respective VLAN. 9/10 Sonos products are connected to unit 1s SSID, and all have an xxx.xxx.11.xxx IP address.1/10 Sonos Products is connected to unit 3s SSID and have an xxx.xxx.34.xxx IP address.Heres the kicker.I can access and use the controller on mobile devices via wifi, regardless of which SSID I am connected to. Wether the mobile device is in the .11 domain or the .34 domain I can access and control ALL Sonos devices across the network.Yet, an Ethernet connected PC regardless of what VLAN it’s attached to, cannot find the Sonos system.Windows Firewall DisabledOpnSense VM on HP Server.UniFi Controller on Windows VM-HP ServerEach Unit has a managed switch all going upstream to OpnSense Router VM/HP Server I was about to start messing with Igmp and mDNS within OpnSense but I find that questionably a waste of time since I c
Hi all, I would truly appreciate if you can please help me with the following issue:I just added a pair of One SL to my system to use them in Stereo mode in my office.I cannot make them work appropriately, every time I try to Airplay play music from YouTube Music or from the Sonos App it either stays idle and doesn’t play anything, or only plays in one of the speakers but not the pair. I also have 2 Arcs with Subs in the living room and master and haven’t faced any issues with those. After talking to Sonos support they mentioned the issue is because I have a Mesh Wifi System (Orbi RBS750 one router and 2 satellites) and the speakers are either connecting to different satellites and/or to the 5G channel which creates the error. In my network map I do see that one of the SL is connected to 2.4G and the other to 5G and that is when one doesn't play. Additionally, if I disconnect the satellites in order to allow the SL’s pair to connect via Wi-Fi directly to the router it solves the issue. B
This has been discussed with regard to the S2 version of the Sonos app, in my case this concerns the S1 version (I still have an early Play 5 - everything else is S2 ready). When I play music, I set up my “room” (why can’t I save a room?) which includes a PlayBar, a Beam and that Play 5, set the volume then go to the Spotify app to launch the music. I prefer the Spotify app for the lyrics and suggestions. After two or three songs, the Sonos app slowly begins to hijack the stream….eventually, I can only skip, stop, start or control the volume on the Sonos app. Very annoying. Is there a workaround to this?
Hi guys - we recently moved to a new house which is long and the router is at one end (cannot be easily moved / rewired due to where Verizon set it up). At the other end of the house, we have an extender to with a different SSID to allow access for some of our other devices - TV, laptop, phones, etc. As for the Sonos, we have (i) a Play 5, (ii) Sonos Beam, (iii) three Play 1’s, and (iv) a Move. The Play 5 is hardwired to our router and broadcasts a ‘Sonos-Only Wifi’ around the house. I sometimes have issues with one of the Play 1’s and the Move, which are both at the other end of the house, dropping out intermittently when music is being played. I believe maybe with the Play 1, the issue may be because it is too far from one of the other speakers to transmit the Sonos-Only Wifi. Based on my other research, does the Move now use the ‘Sonos-Only Wifi’? If so, any recommendations on best way to achieve seamless sound? Would a mesh system would be the best / only solution here? ----------E
I was able to fix this issue and wanted to share how I did it just in case it could help someone else. I too experienced the dreaded Can't Sign in due to "Network Problem Detected". I spoke with Sonos Support for 2 hours and they could not fix my issue. Here were the symptoms - When I try to sign into Sonos, I am presented with the spinning wheel with the error listed above. I am able to play music from my connected services (Amazon Music, Pandora, etc.) BUT only from my favorites, not by selecting the streaming services in the Musical Note tab in the sonos app. Additionally, my alexa enabled sonos speakers will confirm my verbal music request with a response of the music it will play, but no music plays. This is true across ALL 5 of my iOS devices. However, when I downloaded the Sonos Windows app, everything was there and working perfectly (except for the Alexa capability). That is when the Sonos Support rep said it is an iOS issue and contact Apple. The fact that I can see the s
When the Sonos has been playing first from the Sonos app (on a Mac), we will stop/pause that and go to cast from Spotify to the Sonos. Often the Sonos stays stuck with the paused stream. Hitting the button on top of the Sonos 5 will start that Sonos stream where it was stopped, even with the Sonos app turned off on the Mac. How do we get that to totally stop, so that the Sonos will be available for Spotify?
Hi, since I bought my Sonos One I have had troubles with it. In fact it keeps disconnecting almost every day, if I try to restart it doesn t work neither, generally after a while it reconnects alone. I use a standard WiFi connection, and also had the same issue in my previous apartment. I did all the updates and think it is unacceptable such a regular problem. Any recommendation?
Anyone have any solutions to Sonos one not connecting to Spotify but will stream radio services ok.My beam, play 3’s and 1 have no problem connecting to Spotify through the Spotify app or Sonos.I’ve rebooted router, factory reset Sonos one checked updates on everything, deleted and reinstalled all apps, signed in and out of Sonos, Spotify and Alexa nothing works
I’ve had a Sonos Connect on my S2 app for about a year. Suddenly it has disappeared. I’ve tried the “find missing devices”, updating S2, plugging the connect into an Ethernet cable and updated the connect. It functions correctly on Ethernet, and it will go through the setup process on WiFi successfully but it never appears in my system on S2. Any ideas? I have an ASUS mesh router
Hi there, I bought an used playbar. So I opened it, because Tiere is no power. So I found a burned fuse and also a burned varistor. Can someone tell me, what Kind of varistor it is?
So I tell Sonos Alexa to play a SiriusXM channel for me today and am suddenly told that she can’t do that and to check my account for instructions on how to link my account with Sirius. This had been working fine for a few months! Bonus: My Sonos phone app doesn’t work anymore either. When I go to SETTINGS, the “Account”, “System”, and “Services & Voice” menu options are greyed-out and unclickable. So I can’t actually do ANYTHING with this buggy speaker. This is beyond ridiculous. I now own a $250 paperweight.
I’m getting this error:{"pageProps":{"__N_REDIRECT":"/en-us/shop","__N_REDIRECT_STATUS":307},"__N_SSG":true}When I click on “shop” on the webiste.Yes, I’ve cleared the cache, restarted the browser, restarted the computer and tried on both a Mac and a PC.Any ideas?
Hi,I have a Beam, 2 x One and Sub plus a Roam grouped. If I am watching Sky Q but then decide to play a track on Spotify via my iPhone connected to the grouped devices and then stop the track to return to Sky Q programme I lose the sound? The only way I can get audio to return to Sky Q is by powering TV off. Is there a more graceful way of doing this? I expected it to happen automatically with having to power TV on and off. Thanks in advance.
Sonos has stopped connecting to Sirius this morning. Been working fine until this morning. Alarms failed to start. Unable to connect manually. Message:“Unable tp play the radio station”Sonos system and app updated to 13.4.1Diagnostic # 1546886573
So I’ve just bought a new LG OLEDC155 TV along with a Sonos Beam gen 2. I get sound from watching live tv but when I play anything at all from my Apple TV 4K there’s absolutely no sound at all. Any help appreciated.
Ongoing, various issues with these two plugged speakers, which are part of an 11 device Sonos system. When I group them (daily, morning routine) randomly, but frequently, the Move can't be found ("Try later") or if they do group, volume is unresponsive on the Move. I have to use manual adjustment.I have had related issues with accessing the Roam or finding features like volume unavailable.Often Find Missing Products helps, and i have to power off/power on, etc. Router reset seems to help but, with 5 family members, is a hassle. Then the problem(s) return. Any ideas?
I have a Tidal subscription and a number of Tidal songs on my Sonos playlists. As of a couple of days ago, I cannot play any Tidal songs from playlists - I get the error ‘song not encoded correctly’.The same issue has been raised by some people on the forum, as early as four years ago. Some seem to have been due to router issues, but some were due to issues on Tidal’s end. My problem seems to have coincided with Tidal recently allowing Hi-fi quality on a regular subscription. Has anybody else experienced the same problem? My diagnostic is 1444797406.
I have a sonos ZP and a Player 5 (1st Gen) in one room connected to a TP-Link router. In another room I have a Sonos One connected to a second TP Link router. Both routers are connected via ethernet and the one in the Sonos One room serves as an Access Point with no DHCP. The issue is that the Sonos One keeps disappearing from the system. I have ‘cold’ reset it many times, but it keeps dropping out. The second issue is that whenever I play audio it keeps dropping in and out. Especially when I group all the speakers through the Sonos One. I recently gave it a static IP and it seems to have helped some with the first issue, but the second issue persists. I just submitted a diagnostics report #1031527086Hopefully someone can help since I am loosing my sanity over this.
i have set up a system at a customers house fitted kit 6 sonos amps 3 subs gen3 2 play bars now everything works great apart from 1 sub it appears on the app room however it will not play any audio wifi is good in said room unifi nano hd’s are the wifi points. im sure its a firmware problem and from what i have read its been going on for sometime with no fix from sonos. there not cheap and we all expect them to work as they should.

I use S1 with a Connect on the same network where I have multiple other devices running S2. It’s always worked fine. Today the S1 app was not connecting and seemed to not even know my ID. I logged out and logged back in and then it told me to use S2. Of course the S2 does not work with the Connect so I factory reset the Connect, reinstalled the S1 app and tried to connect the Connect. No dice. Tried everything and finally had to dig it out of its location and plug it hard into the router. Got it set up but the S1 app was acting weird and would log into my account but then lose connection with the Connect. Then it would say “we found Connect” and I’d click on it but have to log into my account all over again. THEN all of my services were gone so I added them back and it said “oh we found them!” one by one. Sheesh I did all of this but it would not play. Seemed to be lost trying to find the Connect and my account. I was 90 minutes in at this point. THEN…… It told me I needed to start usi
I had my Sonos music library setup on a USB stick in my WiFi router. All has been working fine, including playing songs from that USB source and running regular updates of the music library (re-indexing). Now I'm getting this error when trying to update the music library: Music files not available[usb location on router] is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. Go to Settings > System > Music Library Setup to check the path.Even after this mesage was displayed, Sonos could play songs from the USB drive (i.e. from the existing music library) absolutely fine, so the potential issues mentioned in the message don’t apply; it was just the music library update that stopped working. To try to fix things, I deleted the music library reference from Sonos and tried to add it again. (I did this using the Sonos desktop app to navigate to the required location on the USB drive, so Sonos can definitely find and re
I am recapping my ZP90 at 12 years old. The caps mostly appear good, apart from the 1800uF on the 3.3V supply, which has a bulging top. I think its testamount to a good design that these units last this long. I leave mine switchedd on all the time, with 230V nominal mains. These are the main capacitors, all originally by Jamicon, to consider replacing. They should be replaced with parts with same or better ripple current, life hours, and similar ESR. I avoided organic polymer etc, which might seem an upgrade, but which could lead to loop instabilities. My cap choices were rather limited by stocks.400V 22uF main reservoir. 20mm long maximum.
