Advanced setups

Hi there,I’ve ordered a Netgear Tri-Band AX5400 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (RBK763S).  I’ve been wanting to improve wifi coverage for sometime and there was a good sale. I’m also using Starlink (original round dish and router).  Plan is to replace the Starlink router with the Netgear. I currently haven’t experienced any of the difficulties others have with recent Sonos updates. Everything has worked fine for me. Given the recent issues though, anyone using a similar setup?  Any issues?  Appreciate any feedback 

My current setup is TV to eARC sonos sound bar and sonos AVR with 2 passive speakers as surround sound.I just discovered sonos AVR having an eARC as well. my questions are:Should i connect TV to sonos AVR by eARC instead of sound bar? If it works, is the sound better than the other way?Thank you in advance.

I am trying to set up two Sonos ports on my work network via Cat6.Tried setting up with Sonos app on phone, the app can see the device (MAC) listed but when it goes to add to new system it times out and says no new deices can be found. Tried different ports on our switch.I factory reset the devices. Tried 3 different phones (iphone and Android). Im using the right (newer) Sonos app.Sonos support was little help after 2 hrs on the phone. Our network people say that the firewall is not blocking any of the Sonos ports and here are no outbound access filters in place. We have LAN to WAN without any inspection or filtering in place. Im not sure where to look on my network. The older system we had (not Sonos) was working well until the service went out of biz and that didnt require any advanced setup. My snag is setting up through this app!Any advice?   

Hi guys, first post. I've owned a beam 2, sub mini and a pair of one xls for surround, for about 18 or so months now and I've never had any problems at all with the system. I've always had sky Internet and hub but this week I changed over to EE/ bt's Internet and hub and this is where my problems have started. I  manage to find the beam xls and sub on the app but when I try to add them to a single room it creates multiple rooms with each product separate, it asks me which room I'd like to add each item to but when I select one room it just creates another one. It also takes a long time to find each speaker. It gives me the option to create a surround pair of xls but when I try I just get this message (picture attached) I've reset each speaker and I've also reset the app and the bt hub but it makes no difference at all, I've even turned off the 5g setting on my router but that turns my phone Internet WiFi off so I have to factory reset. I’m researching broadband providers as my BT contract is about to expire. When I joined BT I was given a smart hub 3, which I could not link to the Sonos. Eventually BT gave me an old hub, which has worked. We also tried to link a TPlink system to extend the signal. Our house is 3 floors with foil back plasterboard providing good insulation. Can anyone provide simple practical advice for someone who is not technically minded before I cancel our contract and then find another supplier is going to provide a router that is incompatible with the Sonos system? Current top contender would seem to be EE as they are now in partnership with BT. 

What is the best mesh network for SonosI need large coverage and seamless Sonos connection even if I move my roam from house to the yard.

I am replacing my current system (dumb tv, a/v receiver, subwoofer amp) with a new smart TV and Sonos system. Existing equipment that I plan to keep are DirecTV box and 4 ceiling speakers in TV room (center ceiling speaker in front of tv and subwoofer are also present, but not planning on using due to limitations of new planned setup as it was explained to me).  I might re-add a subwoofer down the line, if not too costly and easy to integrate into new planned setup.  TV is currently connected behind wall to to a/v receiver, which is connected to DirecTV box, ceiling speakers, subwoofer amp, etc.  That is zone 1.There are also 2 ceiling speakers in kitchen, also connected to a/v receiver in TV room.  That is zone 2.I received a quote that was a little pricey, so planning to take on the project myself to save on labor.  Using the quoted parts list, I have purchased 2 Sonos Amps for the 2 zones. Also on the parts list is a Binary Audio Return Extender for HDMI ARC and S/PDIF (Binary B-260

Changed my internet provider and unable to accessgo to system settings on new update (S2)Tried switching everything off, deleting app/ reinstall Has anyone else been affected by this problem I know that there is major issues with the new broken update Is there anything that I can do apart from getting rid of my Arc/sub gen3 and 3 one sl’s Thanks 

i have wifi that must use proxy to works.how to make my sonos one can connect with proxy in windows or android? if no workaround, well thank you in advance. 

I just purchased 2 or these Sonos Ray and I can see them in my network but the app is not finding them and it keeps tell me to go to System Settings. But won’t respond to me touching the screen? thanks for the help

My QNAP 464 NAS and my SONOS amps are on the same network layer, and my PC and other computers can access the NAS's music folder.However, when I add the NAS path (Manage/Setting/Music Library/ → ADD Networked device) and then I select music path and NAS user/password, SONOS cannot find the file, SONOS shows the message:” ‘//NAS/Media/Music’ is no longer available….”, although I still play music from this NAS on my PC.I have checked SMB v2 and v3 of NAS, they are all Please help me connect my SONOS system (7 sonos amp and 1 port) to the NAS, I would be very grateful.my email: dungphant@gmail.comenable.

I can not believe following the Sonos update, that there is no function to add songs to created Sonos playlists.  Each time Sonos thinks they are making their APP/systems better all they appear to do is MESS UP and then cause frustration for owners of their products, we spent another 30 minutes on their helpline to try and figure out how to get the system working again !!!  Me thinks … time to give up with Sonos and go back to BOSE….total fail Sonos

Il faudrait pouvoir le faire de manière chronologique de la plus récente à la plus ancienne. Egalement, lorsque nous recherchons un "artiste" et que nous choisissons "mix" de 'artise, les titres ne s'affichent pas donc nous ne pouvons pas les selectionner. Lorsque nous selectionnons "top titres", ceux-ci ne se lisent pas à la suite. need multiple help ! I have the following: 2x sonos One, a brand new beam, a boost, a Sonos connect amp and a brand new  pro-ject T1 phono. My idea was I was hoping to connect the 2xOnes and beam together but also connect the 2x Ones to the pro-ject. Struggling with the lot tbh! Seems I cannot connect the Ones I. The new Sonos app, and can only connect the Beam in the new app. Is there any way I can connect them as surround sound? With the pro-Ject I may have just mucked up ! I was thinking it pairs with the One speakers but on receiving it am I right that it is literally just a record deck and has to be wired into an amp and speakers? In which case I can wire it to my connect amp but how do I then connect it to the 2xones? 

I’m having difficulty connecting my turntable via my Denon AVR-2808-ci to Sonos 5. I have tried the avr’s  zone 2 (& 3)  pre outs and thought I made all appropriate setup steps as described in the “proved solution” but it’s not working.  

I want the old app back. Who the * designed and tested this app. I spend thousands of dollars on Sonos system in my house and now the app is terrible to the point I hate to open it. Took away so many basic and common features and provided nothing new. I cannot skip songs, I cannot add songs on the fly to the current list. This is insanely stupid update. I have a Yamaha N-303 WiFi receiver that is hard wired to outdoor speakers, and I would like to connect with my indoor Sonos One speakers to sync Pandora and other services when having a get together so people can enjoy the same music inside or outside.  Any advice to be able to connect the Yamaha to the network would be appreciated.  Both systems connect to the same WiFi network.

After app update I lost my favourite station, lost few hours to find them, but with no luck.looks like the Sonos is useless now.😡😡😡
