What is the best system or set up for a 1200 sq foot yoga room that the teachers can play music from their phones (Usually spotify)

I recently moved to an apartment (rent) that came with a Sonos system as part of the deal. Coming from another country (I live in US now), Its the first time that I hear and interact with a Sonos system, and I liked it. Well, the apartment that I moved has two speakers in the ceiling (they are mounted on the wall, but close to the ceiling) wired through the walls to a Connect:Amp, that is located inside a box in my closet (where my main internet cable is wired too). They are mounted in the living room, and bc of the layout, the TV needs to be placed at the same wall where they are, between them. My idea was to use this existing Sonos system and connect it to the TV somehow for movies and also music (Im used to cast to my TV stuff from Spotify, YouTube, etc.). After reading about Sonos, I realized that the only way to connect Connect:Amp to my TV would be by using a soundbar (playbar/beam/playbase) in a boost mode and use the connect:amp as surround speakers and maybe changing

I have two Play:1s that cover most of my small house. I'm thinking of getting a third Play:1 but now I'm unsure if I should get a Beam for the Living Room and move the Play:1 that's currently there to the office. I don't need "big" sound and mostly appreciate the multi-room playing in sync capability. For music and radio, is the Beam any better or worse sound quality than the Play:1s? My TV sound seems OK, but maybe I just don't know what I'm missing. My TV has HDMI, but not ARC. Which should I get?

I am trying to help my father-in-law set up a system for his living room. He is very hard of hearing and has trouble watching tv because he can't understand what people are saying. I am thinking a Sonos system with surround speakers might work for him. I wonder whether the Playbar or the Beam would be better for this application. His living room is not large and I think the Beam has a lot of features he would really like. I would choose it without hesitation if his hearing weren't an issue. The other option I'm thinking of but haven't yet looked into is if there would be a wireless headset available that he could use in conjunction with the Sonos system for watching tv. His wife would enjoy it if he didn't have to turn the whole system up really loud. Thoughts?

I have a new Onkyo TX-RZ630 that I’m setting up in a dedicated home theater room. I’m trying to decide on using a connect or connect amp in this room as if I had a connect amp I would send those two channels outside creating two zones one in the theater and another outside is this possible ? Information on the Onkyo works with Sonos equipment is very hard to find.

Set up system in a business and trying to find a way to limit users. System has been working great for several months. Now the volume changes and stations change. I know Sonos doesnt have any passwords. Looking for way to limit users, maybe by adding router or other device.

So as the title states. I am looking to spend around $700. For that I can get a Playbar or a Beam with 2 Play 1's. My setup will be used 80% for music and 20% for sports and movies. Any opinions or help in the matter would be greatly appreciated.

This topic must have been discussed earlier, but I can't find it. Is it possible to add a non-Sonos sub to a pair of Play:1? The price of the Sonos sub is four times higher than a Play:1 here in Sweden, so is there any cheaper alternative?

Thanks in advance for advice on this guys, this is a bit of a long post but hopefully some of you more familiar with the system can follow along and help! i currently have no Sonos but looking to get set up 1st with a Playbar (only concern is I really feel like an update won't be far away and a little worried ill jump i nat just the wrong time!) with Sub. Also really interested in incorporating my outdoor sound, especially coming into Summer here in Aus and thats where this multi part question comes in. I will be powering 1 maybe 2 pairs (off the house is approx 8mx4m / 23'x13' pergola, then from that a 20x8m/65'x23' area so i may end up with a pair on the house and a pair on the end of the pergola). If not 1/2 pairs then 1/2 single point stereo speakers which I assume will then have the same considerations. I am planning a trip to the Us. Due to VAT and currency it is much cheaper to buy Sonos in the Us than Europe. As they have som different electric current I am worried that the Sonos equipment bought in The Us will not work in Europe. Has any of you tried this and can I just plud in it here in Europe?

My boyfriend has recently brought a set of play 1 speakers. At the moment they just sit on the side tables either side of the bed, so I was considering getting him the wall mounts for Christmas. was just looking for people's opinions on them, any problems and whether it is worth the buy?

Recently we added another couch to our living room and now only one sitting area has rear speakers. I would like to see the ability to add another rear speaker pair.

I've been going back and forth about beam vs. playbar and was (finally) leaning beam. Yesterday I was casually measuring below the TV to see how the beam might look and my wife saw and responded, "THAT'S how it would look?!" She wasn't a fan. We have a 65 in TV. Has anyone else thought about how the beam would look mounted against larger TVs? Does it/would it have any impact on your decision?

I bought a sonos one speaker last week and was blown away by the quality. I wanted to expand my collection. I am still a student, so i can't buy all speakers i want at the same time. i am doubting between buying a sub and buying a play:5. the play:5 would replace the play one. the sub would be added to the play one and I might add another one later on. buying a sub (and an one) is far more expensive though. The bass on the play one is just too little for some songs, i heard great things about the base of a play:5 eventhough the sub would be deeper. so my question: is it worth investing in the sub (and later on a one), or will a single play:5 (gen 2) be more than enough? (I will mainly use it to listen to music)

I have been looking to get into the Sonos community and I think the Beam will fit my needs. I am looking to replace my current amp and bookshelf speakers with the Beam. So my final setup is hopefully my TV and turntable connected into the Beam. The TV part is simple, but I am looking to see if anyone has had success with connecting a turntable to the Beam. I have a Audio Technica LP120, with a prebuilt phono preamp. Hi, everyone! ? I have read many useful advices here. However, it's not clear to me what to choose in my case. I'm going to buy Sonos to listen to Classical and Jazz music and to connect my system to a TV. I will put it in the middle-size living room in the house and the budget is 1,5K. I'm looking at Beam + 2 Play:5s combo. Will it be enough for my purposes? ? Another combo may be: Beam + Sub + 2 Play:1s. But I think it's better for TV experinece...? What do you think, guys?

I've finally finished my investment into getting two Play:1's and a SUB. I just want to share my experience with it for anyone that is curious. How does it sound? Was the SUB setup easy? Does adding the SUB make a huge difference to just two Play:1's? How does it compare to a Play:5? 1 Play:1 in mono Firstly, I lets start with my thoughts on a single, mono Play:1. It sounds phenomenal for a speaker that size. I borrowed my brother's iPhone to Trueplay tune it, and as I have it on my desk in the corner in my room it seriously reduced the bass resonance, and tightened up the mids and removed a lot of muffling in the vocals too! The Play:1 kicks hard especially with a 3.5" woofer. This setup originally got me into Sonos as my parents bought one for the kitchen and I had to get one of my own! I was so impressed I could only guess as to how great a stereo pair would sound... Stereo Play:1's So I got a second Play:1, and tried out the stereo. I hit play on a random track in the UK

I have a Marantz M-CR603 with two wired speakers in my kitchen and I have a Sonos Playbar with sub in my lounge and a Play 1 in another room. Please can someone advise me how I can join the Marantz with the Sonos Playbar i.e. so I can make the Marantz part of my Sonos group i.e. so I can play music on all outlets at the same. Looking to jump into the Sonos world. Best Buy close to my house has play 3’s open box for $189 and play 1’s open box for $125. I’d prefer a pair for stereo sound. Primary use will be in the living room, which is fairly large. Is it worth the extra $64 to step up to the play 3. I’m not that interested in the Sonos one as we have several echo and dots in our home and don’t need Alexa built in.

I have about a 2,000sq foot open concept ground floor that is sort of horseshoe shaped and includes an office, dining room, living room, kitchen and den in one sort of continuous wrap around area. I want to fill it with sound from lots of sources for a very wide sound stage for music. My budget is about $1,600 so here is what I'm looking at: Starting on left end of horseshoe a play 1, then progressing into the living room a Play 3. Corner of living room a sub, opposite side of living room going into kitchen a play 3, far end of kitchen in den area a play 1. Pair both 3s in stereo and true play tune w sub. Pair both play 1s in stereo mode as well so you stand in center you have a play 1 and 3 on the left as left channel and a play 1 and 3 on right as a right channel. Group the whole thing together. My reasons are as follows.....2 play 3s and two play 1s (all are 15 feet from each other) are better sound stage than a pair of play 5s. I want to be able to stand almost anywh

So I'm getting started with Sonos. I know what I want. 2 Beams for 2 TVs and a Sub for one of them. I also would like surrounds for one of the TVs and I have a set of outdoor speakers I'd like to power. I'm considering in ceiling speakers but would also consider Play 1s. The question... Should I go with a Sonos Amp or do I go with a Connect module and can I add a multi-channel amp to that? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I am new to Sonos. I was planning to purchase 2 Sonos One speakers to add music to my dining room/kitchen area, but with the release of Sonos Beam, I am wondering if I should go for that instead. Note: If the Play:5 had smart speaker functionality (which I am pretty sure is on its way), that would be my choice. Note: I know it's too early to talk about the Beam, but I figure people with Sonos experience may have an opinion nonetheless.

So I already have 2 play 5's for music. I am looking for a sound bar for my TV and thinking of putting the play 5s with either a Beam or Playbar for a 5.x system. The TV and sofa are in 14 foot by 14 foot space, with the left extending further into the dining area. Which setup would you guys recommend? 1) a beam with the 5's for a 5.0 2) a Playbar w the 5's for a 5.0 3) 1)+ sub for 5.1 4) 2)+ sub for 5.1 I am leaning towards the beam because of HDMI ARC.
