As a long time Sonos fan and supporter I am so disappointed in the performance of the new app, I am very much invested in your product upwards of 6K. The fact that the app no longer works seamlessly is an outrage! I am tired of the delay in response the delay in volume control the speakers not responding the delay in load times and my speakers seemingly doing there own thing, just tonight I added a play three to my basement set of a play three, play one, move and mini sub an each speaker playing at a different time and not sinking was problematic. The sound quality is and has been superb, but the glitches in the app are unforgettable. Please respond with fixes and some positive words that will help us loyal supporters have encouragement that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I would like to continue to support the product and upgrade my system but until things work correctly I will discontinue purchasing any more Sonos products. Regard David J.
Hi Sonos Community,I decided to return a Sonos item within the 30 day policy and Sonos quickly emailed back an MBG Reference Number for my return and asked me to use the Return Shipping Label which would be provided in a separate email.I have patiently waited for the Return Shipping Label email and made several phone calls to the Sonos Staff to please send it to me. I have been kindly treated by the staff and reassured that it would be coming very soon and yet I am still waiting.Does anyone know how why I can have Sonos provide me with the Return Shipping Label in a timely manner?ThanksNTch
I created a developer account on 24 October 2024, and the developer dashboard still says “Your registration is being analyzed by our team, please wait.”. There are no other options on the page. It has remained this way since I registered. I created a developer support ticket on 30 October, but there has been no acknowledgement or reply to my ticket. I added more comments asking for a reply to the ticket on 4 Nov and 3 Dec, but there has still been no reply or acknowledgement of the ticket. Does anyone monitor or reply to developer support tickets? How long am I expected to wait for my registration to be “analyzed”? This seems like an extraordinary amount of time with no response. My company has many clients we’d like to integrate with Sonos but I don’t seem to be able to proceed with anything yet.
My wife today tried to return a Sonos product at our nearest ups drop off. She has attached the return label but the guy says she needs a customs declaration/contents declaring. Is he correct? Or just not know his job. The parcel is going to Poland why not the UK. Please help I am 8,000 miles away and she just does not know what to do. If he is correct please send me a link or alternatively how to correct him. Thanks.
S1 app and firmware got an update recently to 11.15. Anyone know why or what was in it?Although I only have three S1 devices left, it was the worst S1 update I can remember. Took ages to do (via PC), and once finished my Play:5s both needed forced reboots to be discoverable on the network again.
I would like to bring my Sonos era 100 speakers to a different location for the six months during the winter. I'm wondering if the settings are stored in the application on my phone for a specific location for example cottage and home.I have Sonos systems at both locations and these would be in a different room at home. What's involved in doing this and would I love the Trueplay settings from the cottage ? I do see other people have asked questions like this, but it appears to be the poster about four or five years old. I look forward to anyone who can offer technical insight. Thanks !
I absolutely hate the Sonos software system, it’s great sound and I have bought so much Sonos gear that now I’m committed, but I can’t believe how terrible the software riders are for this company! Everyone in that whole division should be fired. If I was Elon Musk, I would buy this company and fire every single employee that works there. I am currently trying to access my Sonos system using my Sonos app, I am currently playing music through multiple speakers using my Spotify, but guess what the Sonos app says… Can’t find your system!!! This is garbage s***, I really can’t stand how terrible this is that if I’ve ever become a billionaire, I’m going to buy Sonos and fire everyone Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
How can I register an old purchase I did through an extinct dealer?
I’ve seen the question posted in the community regarding “how much does it cost to have a Sonos package shipped” primarily involving international shipping. Calling Sonos Sales may not provide the immediate answer you hope for. Sonos Sales; if able to help, may have to contact “shipping logistics” for a definitive answer. So be patient.I live in the US and therefore shipping provided by Sonos is at “no cost” (a least not as a line-item on the invoice).😉 Below is my “logistical consultation without compensation” regarding shipping cost calculation.Knowing the weight of a product is not the complete answer for shipping purposes. Actual cost to ship products like Sonos (or any product) is a combination of:Weight Product Packaging materialsBox Dimensions:Length Width Height Girth (in some case such as with a soundbar)The aforementioned is termed as “Dimensional Weight”. The final determining cost factor is “distance” from point of origin to final destination (i.e. delivery). Distance may

The Sonos app has rendered my system practically unusable. Any one know of a different product to replace my Sonos system with? I can't even get support, they keep me on the phone forever only to tell me I have to wait for whatever updated to the app that will fix the problems.
I have several Sonos products in my home and used to love them. I could play multi room audio easily and the Google Assistant was fantastic on most of them. Since the app “update”, I can barely do anything. Music drops out, speaker groupings rarely work, speakers don’t show up, and I just discovered that I am unable to add the Google Assistant back to the speakers that support it, getting an error each time. And no, it isn’t my network, I am sick of hearing this. I have rebooted my router and modem and all of the speakers and it does nothing. But you know what? I should have to reboot anything, that is what the software should handle. I received the email about the Black Friday deals and thought about buying new Era speakers to replace HomePods in some rooms but after the issues I’ve had decided never again. The HomePods or even my old Google speakers work flawlessly and cost a lot less money and I’m instead looking for replacements of the Sonos speakers in my home and will sell them.
Sonos, c’mon. It’s been 5 months since the version 80 app release and you’ve been making promises the whole time of us seeing improvements and after 5 months it’s just not working. Please just admit the full depth of the debacle and roll all the software back and give us back the working version. As I type, my wife is listening to music in the kitchen and I like what I’m hearing so I fire up the Sonos app on my phone to see what’s playing in the kitchen and the app swears up and down “No content” in the kitchen zone, even after force-quitting and restarting the app.My core needs and user journey are pretty simple:fire up the app and have it connect instantly and with zero fuss search for music and find what I’m looking for add it to the queue, maybe reorder the queue control playback (pause, resume, skip among songs with back/forward or by random access in the queue) with no lag create groups for multi-room playback control volume (in one zone or several) with no lagVersion 80 broke ALL
,: Greetings, all. I am a guitarist who recently purchased a “TuneBoy” - A Portable Rechargeable 5W Mini Guitar & Bass Practice Amp with Clean/Distortion Channels & Bluetooth 5.0. I can pair it with my iPhone or iPad. But from there, I have no clue how to pair it with my Sonos system (Arc SL, two One SL’s). Just wondering if anyone knows how to pair a non-Sonos device like this mini-amplifier to one’s Sonos sound system. Any and all ideas and suggestions would be very welcome indeed.
I am so disappointed with the Sonos app. Here we are going into the holidays and my app is completely unusable. I can’t even get enough time on the app to search for a solution before it boots me to the constant update loop. So basically my speakers are sitting ducks. This is ridiculous! Huge investment down the tube.
I used to be able to use Amazon Japan to purchase Sonos products but that option has been scaled back so the choices available are now extremely limited. In fact, they were never able to supply me with an Arc.I want to purchase an Arc Ultra. Thanks
According to Australian Consumer Law a consumer must be able to get products repaired or replaced if the product develops a Major Fault, even in the product is well past the “Warranty period”. The rights extend as long as the product should reasonably be expected to last. These rights are outlined here: https://www.accc.gov.au/system/files/Warranties%20and%20refunds%20-%20a%20guide%20for%20consumers%20and%20business.pdf The definition of a Major Fault outlined as follows:What makes a product problem majorA major problem means the product:is unsafe is very different from the description or sample has either one serious problem or several smaller problems that would stop someone buying the product if they knew about them beforehand can’t be used for its normal purpose, or another purpose the consumer told the seller about before they bought it, and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time.I’ve emphasised the last two dot points, because ever since the May app update, I think both h
Not my intention to troll- just a very frustrated former customer-I have spent hours with customer service on fixing my Gen 1 speakers and no mention of the S1 app or anything to that nature. So for those who responded kindly, thank you. I cannot believe the audacity of this company to completely screw over its Gen 1 customers. Just give us the old app back and keep the “updated” one for new products. What a horrible model you have for your customers who were with you from the beginning! Corporate at its best ( puke!)
Sorry but why is Sonos so f****** s***. I have emailed almost everyone on the f****** board my system has been f***** since they throught they could make it better and nothing Emailed every 2 weeks f*** if I am phoning them and being cut of their review on trust pilot in at the bottom of the barrel how the f*** do you get these dump f****** to listen any ideas Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct
Hi, is there anyone from Sonos support here?I’ve been waiting almost two weeks to have an account deleted. Zero response to my requests for updates (nice).Tried the live chat (twice), was told to be “patient”.Rang the support number, huge wait. Please, is there anyone from Sonos here? This is an account deletion, should take like 2 minutes, not 2 weeks. I should not have to beg like this.
‘Sonos’ upgrade cycle is getting out of hand. I’ve got the Arc, Sub (Gen 3), and Move, but now they’re pushing the Move 2 with no ability to stereo pair it with the original Move? That’s disappointing. And the 15% trade-up discount feels more like an excuse to get us to spend thousands on a ‘whole new system’ every year. What’s next, a system with ‘12.9 surround sound’ and another upgrade push in 12 months? Sonos should focus on better compatibility and seamless integration across their products, not making loyal customers feel like their gear is obsolete. We invested in their ecosystem; it’s only fair they support it properly.
Why is the Sonos app so bad? It's sluggish often unresponsive and beyond glitchy.
I have an arc two moves in a Rome, which are only two years old and recently completely stopped working. I have spent a total of six hours troubleshooting, two hours of which on separate occasions I waited the queue for 40 minutes to finally be answered and an hour later they had nothing else for me. This is a horrible way to treat customers and a horrible way to make them upgrade to a new system after only two years because after all, isn’t that the intent? FYI, good customer service means that you call in once and when they can’t find an answer, they escalate it and call you back. You should not ever have to wait in a queue over and over and over again.
Before I activate my 15% off Upgrade Offer, does anyone know if it will take 15% off the Black Friday sales, or do they not stack? Thanks.
