Hello all, I've used Sonos for many years but for the past few since I got the new speakers it has never worked properly. The Wi-Fi router im using at the moment has 2ghz and 5 ghz my old speakers connect on 2ghz and my new ones only connect on the 5ghz I've never been able to solve this.

I'm thinking of getting a new Wi-Fi router to try and solve this. Is there a recommended one that definitely works to connect both Old and New speakers?

There is no perfect router and most will be fine connecting old and new speakers.  What works in one location might not in another, so you really need to try to understand what is going on.

What does “not work properly” mean specifically?

Are the SSIDs for the two bands different   Are both entered into Sonos?

What happens if you disable the 5GHz band?

Ah I see you have a Boost. Wired to your router presumably?
