I’ve read a lot of threads about the Sonos app not being able to control Spotify volume. This issue is different.My iPhone volume controls can no longer control Spotify volume through Spotify. It doesn’t work using the physical volume keys. It doesn’t work using digital controls in AirPlay. It does work if I dive deep into Spotify controls and change in Spotify digital controlsAny way to enable Sonos volume control when using AirPlay and Spotify app? Ideally using physical keys but at a minimum using a more accessible volume controller somewhere else.I have latest iOS, latest Sonos app, and latest Sonos firmware update.
To stream YouTube music from my TV direct to my Sonos speakers should my optical cable be plugged into the TV at one end and the play bar at the other? This doesn’t work!
Hi, favor to ask the community as i’ve been searching for the last hr but no luck. I have a Samsung Frame TV and just installed an AMP + 4 sonos ceiling 8” speakers. I do not want a soundbar. So i’m curious how to get the sound working? I’m assuming HDMI-ARC from the FrameTV box to the AMP via HDMI cable? cheers
Sonos dropped a new update today, and I was sincerely hoping that this one would (FINALLY) restore our ability to link to our local stored music, making it available through the Sonos Music Library. Alas, despite that promise of a “mid June” fix, today’s didn't work. I have a MacBook Pro (late 2018) running the latest MacOS. So does anybody know the latest ETA for when we will be able to play the music we’ve purchased and stored on our systems, via SONOS? Perhaps as an aside, I cannot fathom why SONOS chose to take so much away from the many who have already invested in SONOS systems, so that SONOS can introduce new headphones. There’s no way in hell I’m going to buy headphones from a company that took away some of the most relied-upon features for our existing SONOS products, to hit a release date for their new product. Why would I assume any headphones I might purchase wouldn’t be treated the same way down the road?

I’m thinking of purchasing a Premium Immersive Set with Arc , and ideally being able to “stream” music from a turntable - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable in Black (Sonos Edition), with a Port.Would this allow me to seamlessly switch from TV sound to Turntable, with sound coming from the surround 100s as well?I’ve found a few confusing suggestions about creating different rooms, pairing different speakers, using a 100 as “line in”, but that doesn't sound very appealing…
Have updated my ipad iphone yesterday to the much promised Musik Library will be back but no and the back to tv after playing music on amp missing.The app even after all updates is rubish bring backthe old app please then the poeple can choosewhich app they want to use.
So i got 2 One’s for my dad to work in surround with his arc. To his slight annoyance, a lot of the content he watches isn’t broadcast in surround, e.g. the world cup. So he would like his sonos One surrounds to work as a mono or stereo pair playing whats on tv, duplicating the arc. This can be automatic or manually switched. I was thinking i could create a separate group with the 2 One’s as a stereo pair and just switch between them in the app, but sonos, in their unending quest to minimize system flexibility, doesn’t allow speakers to be in more than one group, or at least i can’t find a way to do it.
The only way I could connect my Connect and Move so that they would be in perfect sync with each other was to have my two devices (turntable and CD player) go through a splitter then to the Connect and THEN to my receiver. The only downside of that was a 2 second delay so on the CD player having music start or stop 2 seconds later wasn't a big deal but it was weird putting the needle down on a record and not hearing anything for two seconds. But today I went to put a record on and…. NO delay?!?! Was something updated without my noticing it??
I did the mistake of updating the Sonos app on my iPhone, resulting in losing the ability to play music on my Roam. The Roam shows up in the list of players, but I can’t make it play anything. When trying, the play button shows a spinning circle for a while, then the app states that an error occurred (no shit, Sherlock). Luckily, I haven’t update the app on my iPad, so I can play on the Roam from there.I’ve tried resetting the app, but that didn’t help.Any advise, or do I just wait for the app to get updated?
I was able to get my Music Library working again after the May update but I cannot add/edit it without applying the June update(s). I am afraid to do the update. Has anyone applied the June update fixes and do you still have access to both your local Music Library and your Imported Playlists?I am running iTunes and the Music is stored on my C drive on my Dell PC running Windows.
Hi, I have a Sonos move and a roam and keep having connectivity issues when I’m trying to use them both. They both work fine but when trying to add one to the other a prompt appears saying “unable to connect.”I never had this issue before the recent app update please get this patched soon. Thank you

Hi, I still cannot trueplay tune my playbase using my iPad 9.Gen.If I try, the wrong dialog is comming up.There is no “tuning twice”. The app tries to starts right with the “Then, you’ll walk wit your iPhone...” part, but softlocks the moment I tap on “begin tuning”.If I borrow an iPhone, I can trueplay tune this PlabaseIf I use my iPad for my none Home Theatre speaker, trueplay tuning is possible.Any news on that?I have an open ticket with support, but never herad back from them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Team Sonos,Please work towards allowing the bigger portable models (like the Move 2) to be used as surround sound speakers on demand. Can my Sonos be connected to my smart tv
BBC sounds is working fine on my Sonos. Before about a month ago, I could set my Sonos alarm to be a prog that I had subscribed to via BBC sounds / My sounds / Subscribed / select the subscribed set of shows / select the show. A month ago, the above stopped at the ‘Subscribed’ screen with no way to then ‘select the subscribed set of shows’. This was on both my Samsung phone and the Windows PC app. Any idea why I cannot now select one of my subscribed programmes? Note this goes for all the options from the My Sounds page - the ‘subscribed’, ‘continue listening’ and ‘latest’. None of them expand to show the selection of shows. If I just go with selecting ‘subscribed’, the alam does not work and I get a standard Sonos chime in the morning.Help! Please!!Many thanks.

Why would Sonos, a large company with high levels of investment available replace a working app with a junk piece of crap that is buggy, crashes, lags, pauses and lacks basic functionality???? He comprado un Beam 2, 2 sonos era 100 y un sub mini.A pesar de costar enlazar los era y el Beam, actualizarlos..., no tengo actualizar el sub mini, siempre me da el error 1000, 1001... He reiniciado el equipo, restaurado a fábrica, conectado por wifi, cable de red ... Y no consigo actualizarlo y por lo tanto agregarlo a mí sistema. ¿Qué más puedo hacer?

The latest version of the app on Android seems to causing no end of problems. Firstly, my Music Libary (from a NAS drive) disappeared and I've had to reinstate it (twice) via the Desktop app. Secondly, all my music art, stored in folder.jpg files, has disappeared.I have been using Sonos mainly via a Connect Amp for many years without problems. When will these issues on the new app be resolved?I would like to roll back to the previous version until Sonos sorts out these problems. How do I do that?
