Since last week I’ve had major issues with multi-room (10 devices across 6 rooms).   I’m thinking this may be related to the newly added Apple Lossless support.    I can get 3, maybe 4 rooms to play reliably, but adding 5 or 6 causes major issues with constant rolling dropouts, eventually leading to some speakers just silent (although the app thinks they are playing).With Amazon Music, (which I don’t use, but tried it for testing), playback is stable.I can also play to all rooms/devices reliably with Apple Music over Airplay - including adding 6 more “rooms” through airplay.I have an Eero mesh network with excellent coverage, and I live in a rural setting so not a lot of interference from other networks.Anyone having similar issues?

The minimum volume on a Play 1 for instance (volume level 1) is too loud to let the music play as background. It's "no music" or "too loud music" on volume level 1 Nothing in between. Ideally I could lower the music volume like an old amplifier. It's as simple as that. We use the Sonos system on the lowest volume side and the minimum volume is just way too high. I'm surprised that nobody else raises this.

Good afternoon all. I have always been impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the Sonos community, so I thought I would seek its opinion:I currently have a set-up for our living room of a Playbase (optical connection to LG OLED TV), sub and two Play:5s as rears for both watching TV and listening to music. I had previously briefly set up the Play:5s as a stereo pair for when listening to music, and the Playbase + Sub for TV, but seemed to prefer having everything surround.I am now considering a Sonos Beam Gen 2 as an upgrade/replacement of the Playbase (it is still working but I know the wifi card can become an issue). What tempts me most is that the Beam can use the EArc connection of the LG for Dolby Atmos. Questions are therefore:Can I expect to notice a difference/improvement in sound field when switching out the Playbase for the Beam Gen 2 with Dolby Atmos using the current surround set up?Should I consider uncoupling the Play:5s for stereo music listening, and have the

Something went wrong: Try again Sonos take your own app’s advice and try again, I used to proudly show off my Sonos set up and the ease you could play what you want and have it playing in multiple rooms at the same time. Today my mum was child minding for us and mentioned a song she hadn’t heard in ages, took out my phone tried several times to play the song that is in my several years old playlist but you guessed it: Something went wrong repeatedly where I finally admitted defeat and said I couldn’t actually play it or anything really. Bravo Sonos, and no I don’t want your headphones.   

Fantastic customer service by this company. First, their fantastic new app has left my surrounds/subs effectively as paper weights until they fix their app, then, their customer service team casually takes 90-100 minutes to answer a call, and promptly hangs up on me.  I swear to God I actually hope they get class actioned, and go bankrupt, this is ridiculous. You can’t even get these bleeps on the phone to fix their system issues that they created. 

Please Sonos, make it so Home theater enthusiasts can add a pair of era 300 speakers to the front soundstage . People who don’t want to can keep their current setup but give the option for the rest of us . It would result in more people Interested and spend more money on more speakers ! How is that bad ? 

This new app is a nightmare!! For first couple of weeks I wasn’t able to search for music, that I had to do on my wife’s phone!Now:1. it seems that Sonos have removed the functionality to save music to playlists? Now you are only able to save to “Sonos favorites” sucks big time! Please fix.2. On a room playlist you can’t remove titles individually. So if you add something you don’t like you need to start from scratch. why change something that works??? It’s getting more and more annoying this company.   

Does anyone know if deleting songs from a queue, the saving of a queue, and the ability to shift songs within a queue will be coming back? 

I have tried resetting to factory settings and spent so much time and frustration on this. It should allow me to disconnect the LH Sonos one from “Unnamed room” and allow me to add it in the “TV Room” ….. but no no no … What a nightmare of a system!!!Any help be grateful for. 

I am having a party this weekend and borrowed two of my friends Sonos move systems.  In total there are three Sonos that are each setup to individual accounts.  How can I sync all three using my app without resetting each one ? I don’t want to disrupt my friend’s setup. 

I can’t add new music services to the new Sonos app. The app is up to date, I’ve tried restarting my phone, logging out and back in on the app, trying multiple times with Amazon Music and Deezer. The service page says that the service was successful added and I can return to Sonos app, but when I do it it says that the service couldn’t be added and try again later.

Please can someone help?I am using my IPad and always have but now my playlist doesn’t show, then sometimes it does.It’s so frustrating and I can’t seem to correct this feature Any help please 

I hate Sonos!  Every time you do an update, my app stops working and I cannot control the sound on my TVs.  I spent over an hour last night at my home trying to get the system reconnected, rebooted everything and tried reconnecting.  I would be told by the app that the item was connected but then when I tried to join the surround sound to the Arc, I would get the picture of the TV and the Sonos One SL and one would make the sound and I would click that corresponding picture and it would act like it was going to connect and then I would just get error messages.  Any of these systems are the bain of my existence.  We also have on at the office and when I went to change the volume, it was told that it was not connected to my system.  I spent another hour trying to follow all of the directions to connect it again but just constant error messages.  And yes, after rebooting I just unplugged it and turned the volume on the TV on.  This system should not be this difficult and I am good with a

Is there any news on an updated version of the Five?An Era 500 for example? I’m surprised nothing has been mentioned yet seeing as it came out in 2020 and is lacking some of the functions the newer Era 300 has. I’m looking to get a new speaker but just cant spend on a Five now, this late into it’s lifecycle. I’ve seen quite a few similar posts online.

Hi,Is there a way to downgrade this poorly thought out new app to the previous version.The new app is not user friendly and does not appear to have a “shuffle” option for my music. I have a NAS with over 12,000 songs and now it appears the sonos app will not provide the ability to shuffle the songs. Either I have to downgrade the app to the previous version or I will have to find another method to play my in house library on the sonos setup.This supposed update is quite obviously inferior to the old one. Certainly won’t purchase anything else from sonos unless this gets rectified. Butch

I am trying to install the new app.  It won’t install correctly and requires several reboots of my iOS devices to open. Even then it has completely screwed up my home audio system. It constantly gives incorrect “cannot connect” messages.  It won’t recognize my Sonos products.  It won’t recognize my third-party music apps.  The search function is defective.  When I finally got some music to play, it defaults to blasting music from my back patio speakers only.  When I change to indoor speakers only, it plays different songs out of different speakers.  Then some of the speakers disconnect.  Then all of the speakers disconnect, and, at the same time, it reverts to blasting music out of the backyard speaker. Are we sure that this is an official Sonos app?  It feels like some sort of joke or maybe malware?

When my Samsung TV is turned on, the Sonos system (Arc, play 1’s & sub) no longer automatically changes over to TV input for the system (TV Autoplay). System settings have been checked, TV auto play is enabled. Each time the TV is turned on I am required to use my phone to change the input to TV…what a load of hassle. Multiple posts on this all since recent update. System has been fully shutdown, all power and HDMI cables disconnected and re-booted. Issue still exists! 

I know you have heard it all , but the new app renders the system virtually unusable. I have 2 systems at 2 different properties.  Have used the system since you began 20 years ago.  Always raved about it , have probably 25 devices.  Always tell everyone to bet the system.  But this new app missed the mark on so many levels.  I am hoping there is a fix for the slowness/ clunkiness, lack of functionality and lost features asap.  As it stands it renders the system basically unusable.  

Hi Sonos Support and Community, I’ve had my Sonos Arc since August 2020 and recently, my Arc has started emitting this distorted/robotic sound while watching tv or playing my Playstation. At first I thought it was my Playstation 5, however I was just watching tv (Youtube TV via my Apple 4k tv) and the sound was back. On top of this latest issue, I’ve been running into issues with my Arc not playing any sounds out of HBO Max AND Netflix. I’ve read other blogs and posts and can assure you I have my settings set up correctly. Sadly I’ve either been on hold for 60+ minutes or just been waiting as #6 in line for the chat for the past 60 minutes… Just trying to look for answers as I can’t even use my tv with the sound sounding like this. And yes, I’ve unplugged my cables and replugged and tried other HDMI cables…  Any other thoughts? 

I want to add a Pro-Ject to my sonos system.  I also want to listen to my vinyl using Sonos ACE headphones.  What other sonos product must I purchase to make this work?  I do not have an ARC and suffer from all the outdated Sonos equipment I have -- it all sounds and works great but is quickly obsolete when Sonos adds new products -- it ages so quickly.  Help?

I purchased a Sonos Era 300 and tried to pair it with my Samsung smart TV by Bluetooth; the TV find the speaker in the Bluetooth speaker list; and the message is Needs pairing, so I clicked and again in Pair and connect and after less than a minute “connecting”, it comes the message of the connection unsuccessful and ask to make sure the device is turned on; with the Era 300 turned on and ready to pair. Thank you in advance for your support!  Raul.

Can it be setup like this where it is very close to the TV but sticking out fully?
