In addition to my 2 Sonos One, Arc and Beam, I recently got myself a Sonos Sub. When setting it up, there were of course problems with the new Sonos app, which according to a news article should have been fixed a day later. Unfortunately, I can't provide any specific version information as the speakers don't appear in the new Sonos app. It was also no longer possible to set them up in S2.

In the past, while my system was running without a sub, I supplied my speakers with audio signals via pulseaudio-dlna, but due to an update this was no longer possible. I then spent years trying to find a solution to the problem and eventually came across shairport-sync and ended up playing my Sonos speakers via the AirPlay protocol.

Now my Arc had to update due to the Sonos Sub integration, so far no problem. Meanwhile, my Beam also received an unsolicited update. Since this update, I have had constant dropouts on the Sonos Beam when they are played with Shairport-sync.

I would now like to ask for the problem to be addressed correctly. What is the current status of the Shairport-Sync integration? Please provide a link to the roadmap regarding the technical issues and the planned bug fixes, even if I remove the Sonos sub from the system, the problem remains, as it was installed by a forced update. I therefore urgently request action.
