I have a PORT 48 System.My first issue this weekend was that the sonos app indicated that my Apple Music account expired (therefore, I could not play any Apple Music). That message was wrong since my Apple account is not expired. I was able to reinstall Apple Music in the app. However, the music did not played. When I click the play arrow, a dark round circle appeared. I contacted Sonos support today and sent a Diagnostics. While talking with Juan, Apple Music began to play. Juan gave a case # to use if I have more problems. And, I do have more problems. Apple Music plays. However, it only plays one song and stop. The system does not plays a whole album, just one song at the time. Has anyone have hd an Experian similar to me?Sono’s Radio was always available to play if I want it to.Thank you for reading this. Hello all, just wondering if it’s a known issue or is there a work around to add a second sub to my Arc, gen3 sub and 300 surrounds?I originally had two subs connected to this system, two 3rd gen subs, but in order to get lossless with my pair of fives I had to unpair my 2nd gen sub to the fives and put the 3rd gen in place. When I finally did that ( btw the app wouldn’t let me unpair the one sub from the arc setup had to factory reset the sub) I can’t get the 2nd gen sub paired up. It took me a bit just to get it back into the system but just not assigned, but every time I try and assign it to my arc setup it gives me the prompt “could not pair”, something about wifi or whether it’s still connected to power. Which obviously it is since it’s still in my list of speakers just showing not assigned. so long winded question, has anyone else had this problem and did you figure a work around that wasn’t using the 16.1 app. I’ve tried factory resetting my 2nd gen, restarting my phone, signing

Bei Sprachbefehlen über die Alexa App App wird zumindest akustisch bestätigt, dass der gewünschte Sender jetzt abgespielt wird. Ever since updating to the new Sonos App, it is now May 21, 2024, IT. NEVER. WORKS! Awfully frustrating and annoying. I spend over 20-30 mins each time trying to get music on my darn speakers. I have tried everything. Reset everything. About to give up on Sonos completely I am so frustrated.

Hello my lovely community.I want to close the topic for compability of Atmos codecs, specifically for TrueHD, as there are still a lot of questions going on about it.As owner of Sonos system (arc, 2x sub, 2x era 300) and pairing it with LG C3, Vero 4k+, AppleTV 4K and PS5. However LG C3 can’t passthrough TrueHD and I can’t watch my legal BR rips using Vero4k+ and Apple TV 4K. So here are the options what might be done:While using TrueHD content, accept downmix from 7.1 to 5.1 by Sonos (Multichannel PCM). Pros: getting atmos effects, the cheapest option. Cons: lower bitrate for atmos. Look for an alternative streaming services for an atmos content such as Netflix or smiliar. Pros: you will get an an atmos effect via DD+, still cheaper option. I’ve noticed that many selections which are Ultra HD don’t display the badge through the Sonos app (using a Port for streaming). Sometimes it shows no badge at all, sometimes it shows only the HD badge and other times it works properly (or the HD badge switches to Ultra HD mid song). I know that all my settings are correct, and my dac is showing 24/96, but the lack of badge still concerns me. Is there a fix or am I at the mercy….? Thanks for any and all input. NSC
Hey there. We bought my parents a Sonos Ray some time ago, as my Dad needed extra sound for the Tv. I set up the app at the time which I think was the S1 on my Mom’s phone and all worked ok. Although over the following months the TV worked fine, but they never touch the app. I did show them how to use it for radio stations, but as they are in their 70’s, they are not technically minded. We think that the app automatically updated to the S2 in background and can’t get it to work at all. It’s prompting us to accept the t&c’s but the option is greyed out. Trying to go back to the S1 app just prompts us to download the S2. We saw an option to downgrade product to S1 but says option is unavailable. My Mom’s phone is an IPhone 8 running IOS 16+. Does anyone have any ideas please? The TV sound works through it ok still, but the app is just inoperable at the moment. Thanks.

Hi everyone.We are doing some work at home and sometimes there is dust. To protect the two Fives I cover them with plastic bags. When the work is finished in the evening I remove the bags and relax with some good music…I noticed that the Fives, turned off and connected to the electrical outlet, develop a little heat. Could the bag be a problem? As I said, during the listening the bags are removed.Thanx.
I use my Move 2 in my garage a lot and the garage has a flat roof and we’ve been experiencing a heat wave with temperatures in the upper 90s. The temperature in the garage can get up to 115°. Is it safe to keep the move out there between the times, I am listening to it or should I bring it inside into cooler temps?

The most reliable Sonos controller app for iOS has been updated. One of the improvements is a new look now playing screen. I am starting hate Sonos. my sonos sub mini appears in the app. But always says not connected. And all steps given such as turn on n off , refresh wifi all this just dont seem to work. Even the chat with sonos staff is of no use. It still does not work. Is anyone having or experiencesd same issue. I intend to take sonos to court as this absoutely not close what was expected from best. Its very frustrating experienxe pls help
I host events being on my phone during the events to control music volume or song choice (meditation, healing, and social gatherings) is paradoxical to being present with other humans.Going into the Sonos app has the same effect as same as checking my what’s app messages. The Home Screen / swipe down in iPhone used to work and now that feature isn’t available which is disappointing. Is there any way to control volume remotely? Like a 3rd party remote?
Prospective Sonos customers that ask me if they shoul start building a Sonos system in their homes are being told to buy a pair of hd headphones and wait till a replacement for Sonos comes along.

Hi all, I recently had to reset my Sonos1 and lost my settings including my Amazon Music “skill”? I used the Sonos chat bot and it let me know I needed to go into the connected services and add it back. However, when I follow the instructions I cannot find Amazon Music in the available list. I see others streaming services like Deezer and Spotify so I assume I’m in the correct place…? what am I doing wrong? Thanks!
I’ve had the Arc for over a year and not had this problem until this week. I play a particular track on Apple Music, through an Apple TV, on my Arc and I get a distortion when the music and singer hit a certain volume. It’s an album I’ve “added” to Apple Music (I have the iTunes Match service) but it encoded correctly. I’ve played this same track on my Sonos One in the kitchen - no distortion. Tried a couple of tracks from other albums I’ve recently added - same issue. Music directly from Apple Music seem okay. Any ideas ?
Hi , i have lot of cds in my library and I want to play them in my stereo Sonos era 100 system I’ve seen a usbc-rca cable in the Sonos website but seems like this will produce analog signal rather than cd digital audio quality . how and what do you suggest to buy in orther to play music in high quality from cd to Sonos era 100 system ? thanks a lot
