Is there anyway to disable Sonos radio in the app I’ve seen this question asked here however, the Thread is closed to replies.

my chief complaints about Sonos radio is that you can’t turn it off and if you’re using Sonos voice controls it seems to prioritize Sonos radio over Spotify. This is very annoying since there are commercial breaks, and it isn’t nearly as refined as Sonos as far as music quality from song to song.

Pushing a crap streaming service when all of us already have our preferred streaming services. It seems like a deliberate money grab for another subscription Just to avoid commercials. But it’s crap please don’t force us. We’ve all been suffering since May

I suspect you have set Spotify as your Default Service in System Settings > Manage > Voice Assistants > Sonos Voice Control > Default Service?

What kind of commands are you using that start playing from Sonos Radio instead of your default service?

Sonos Radio is the default service for voice if I don’t change it in the settings.

I have also set my preferred service so that it’s the first on the list on Home Screen: Your Services > Manage > Spotify > Your Preferred Service

If you end your voice command with “… from Spotify”, does that not work if the default service isn’t the cause?

I don't use voice control, but I'd also like to be able to hide Sonos Music. It's something I don't (want to) use so it's just useless pixels is the app.
